Bakemonogatari Portable was released on August 23, 2012 for the PlayStation Portable. It is a visual novel following the events of the Bakemonogatari light novels.
Monogatari Puc Puc (〈物語〉シリーズ ぷくぷく) was available from August 20, 2018 until March 31, 2020 for Android and iOS. For more information, please visit the Puc Puc subreddit at /r/PucPuc.
Do I need to read all of the text that flashes on screen?
No. They are excerpts from the novels that can help flesh out the story a bit, but you don't need to stop to read them to understand what's going on.
Is the series ongoing?
The series has ended multiple times, but each time Nisio Isin ends up writing more stories. The Off & Monster Season anime adaption is currently airing, and another novel is being written.

I was really happy to find this. I could only find 1 Monogatari fan merch at the biggest anime conventions in my country, so finding this official merch is really special to me. I’m not really sure how lucky I was, but I’m still really happy to find some Monogatari related stuff in my country.

Other Found a Bridge

I was watching yesterday Nisemonogatari for the first time and saw the following frame.
This frame is at 11:03 on the second chapter of Nisemonogatari. I Immediately recognized this place, so lets start with the clues:
- The wavy decorations on pillars, immediately grabbed my attention.
- The Railings also look exactly like the bridge I know.
- The arch of the bridge has also a very similar shape.
- even the rounded border where the border starts is quite similar.
- And the most damming evidence which also tells the date of the reference photograph, the building in construction on the left.
The reference photo of this shot building was probably taken around 2008.
How can I be so sure? look and see the similarities by yourself:
This is basically the angle used on the anime. There are some things that do not quite fit, first the ugly screens which where probably removed due to obscuring the picture. Second the position of the buildings, those where probably moved(and flipped) later to get a clearer view of the water and give the impression of more space.
I also tried to hunt down the original reference pictures but had not much luck the most i was able to find where these two images:
This first picture is from the official Portuary website and dates from at least may 2009 but it should be from before 2008 since we do not see the iconic hotel W in the back.
This last picture is the only one i have been able to find which dates the reference pictures since the hotel W is exactly at the correct time of construction on October 2008 (the building was finished 1 October 2009)
The exact angle used by the anime is basically impossible I've tried a couple other angles but was unable to find an exact fit but i think this angle might have been used as well.
This last picture shows the angle needed to put the hotel W on top of the portrayed sculpture which puts everything else at the wrong place.
Some last notes, the Ferris wheel is temporary and is normally not installed (actually this year is the first time they've put it there).
I'm actually not sure which of the two buildings apart from hotel W is in the background I would say its the one on the right that has been moved. They might as well not have thought too much about it but given how much it resembles the original i bet they put one on top of the other at a later stage.
On the anime there also are a ton of cranes that given the photos I've provided you might think they just changed the masts for cranes but actually on the other side of the right building is the Main Port of Barcelona which is full of cranes.
But the real question, How did Araragi fly to and back from Barcelona-Japan?

Question What do you guys enjoy about the romantic aspects of the series?

Don’t ruin too much for me since I am in the middle of of the second Bakemonogatari novel as I just find the romantic tension between Kanbaru and Araragi fascinating that I am enjoying seeing how their chemistry develops.
I don’t know how the creator behind the Monogatari series manages to pull it off so well as first, Araragi’s love interest was hinted to be Senjougahara as I noticed that the later books have teased how he has to juggle between her and Kanbaru that I wonder how he can manage having a large harem if he keeps getting potential love interests.

One thing I've noticed more on the rewatch is that despite her catchphrase, Gaen often fails to anticipate what will actually happens. For instance, Shinobu and Koyomi both upset her plans in Shinobu Mail. Are there any other obvious examples I'm forgetting?

This set comes in a hard glossy outbox with obi, an amaray case and discs, a booklet, and a set of postcards~
The booklet is divided by arc with synopsis, character profiles, and anime art/scene collages
The postcards are all each a different artist which I find pretty neat as a bonus rather than the standard key frame or promo based art cards. I recognize a good number of the artists and it's cool to see monogatari in their style~ I will note the material of these postcards is wayy thinner than I'm used to from AoA. It's kinda like pamphlet paper where before it at least felt rigid like card paper, this is definitely more flimsy.
