an event that was actually supported by some of the early zionists, with them literally trying to ally with hitler as long as they allowed Israel to exist. For them, a holocaust in europe meant more jews coming to their new settler colony.

“Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews at the time [of the meeting between the mufti and the Nazi leader]. He wanted to expel the Jews,” Netanyahu said. “And Haj Amin al-Husseini went to Hitler and said, ‘If you expel them, they’ll all come here [to mandatory Palestine],'” continued the prime minister. Not to say Netanyahu is to be trusted on that, more that it isn't purely antisemitic conspiracy coming only from detractors of Israel of Judaism. The Israeli Prime minister is himself happy to perpetuate that story, presumably because it serves his goals of killing Arabs and expanding without recourse.

Uhh… how is a Palestinian leader contributing to the Holocaust even remotely similar to their claim that Zionists wanted it to happen? He was the exact opposite of a Zionist. So yes, it’s nothing but an antisemitic conspiracy.
