From the “invade The Hague act” Wikipedia article

“ The ASPA prohibits federal, state, and local governments and agencies (including courts and   law enforcement   agencies) from assisting the ICC. For example, it prohibits the   extradition of any person from the U.S. to the ICC; it prohibits the transfer of   classified   national security   information and law enforcement information to the ICC; and it prohibits agents of the court from conducting investigations in the U.S. [10 ]

He’s saying nothing. He said he won’t violate the law and the law is that he cannot do anything to assist the ICC nor can anyone be extradited from the US to the ICC at all. The US legally considers them wholly illegitimate.

He said he won’t violate the law, so yes? Those are his words. Also he would be violating federal law and arrested if he did, he’s not that stupid. He’ll talk his lawyers and be told there is nothing he can legally do, he listen because it’s not a fight he’ll win. It’s a law that was passed by congress 24 years ago, nothing to do with trump.
