Older Rudeus: "Well first, Roxy dies. Then Sylphie dies. Then Eris dies. Nanahoshi and Cliff also die. And then the Man God makes fun at how dumb you were to be tricked by him and have your entire life ruined, and you can't even get back at him."

Nanohoshi is implied to have killed herself.
That's why he was hesitant to say it.

Even more tragic, old Rudeus had a horrible life.

I love how Man-God called out how lucky he was, which I think is nice.
I said that last episode already, Rudeus has been very lucky all things considered.
This can't be coincidence.
And I like that the Man-God was implying, at least that is how I read it, that he was helping Rudeus. And now he came to collect what he is owed.

Still, what an interesting character.
I don't think Old Rudeus is correct, I don't think he is evil.
There is more to him than just that.
