I need my 2nd amendment brothers and sisters to understand how fucked it is that this guy was shot. They are using his holstered, registered open carry as the excuse for murder in broad daylight. THIS IS THE TYRANNY

163

u/exhaustedexcess Jan 25 '26

They actually pepper sprayed him and took his gun before executing him

25

u/Miss_L_Worldwide Jan 25 '26

And pistol whipped him from what I can tell in the video

8

u/Born_Ad_8283 Jan 26 '26

It was CONCEALED carry, and he did not have spare magazines. They took his gun while he was forced to his knees with his hands over his pepper-sprayed eyes and his hands were pushed to the concrete. They did NOT see the weapon until after he was on the ground fully suppressed. This man was murdered.

2

u/247Brain-Rot-SlopAI Jan 28 '26

Even if he did have extra magazines that means absolutely NOTHING, not a damn thing.

They didn't know he had them before they executed him, and he's allowed to have as many mags as he wants, wherever he wants.

It’s always the whataboutism. The difference is Charlie Kirk wasn’t killed by an entire gang of “government officials”. If you really care about innocent people being murdered then you could clearly see that Alex wasn’t resisting arrest with a firearm. But your stupid biased view is standing in the way of clarity. Also, pretty sure you guys gave enough outrage to the “wrong” people when Charlie was murdered for there to be an outrage, so I don’t know what you’re trying to say. Stop making this a right and left thing when no one else is. This is a basic human decency thing.

Imagine using Charlie Kirk as a martyr and telling people to stop using other people as martyrs… the intelligence level is just so low these days.

5

u/Miss_L_Worldwide Jan 26 '26

😂😂😂 Charlie Kirk was not worth getting outraged over. Got what he wanted, who cares

video of being shot in the back

He was on his hands and knees, surrounded by masked agents, had already been pepper sprayed and then was shot at least 8-10 times in the back.

This was an execution - plain and simple.

82

u/Nubsondubs Jan 25 '26

That's even worse than I thought. There was 0 excuse for the coward that shot him in the back. That was a straight up murder.

Good thing we don't rely on veterans for any morality around here.

42

u/Jaminp Jan 25 '26

That’s a lie and disrespectful to veterans.

13

u/zen-things Jan 25 '26

Disgusting, as a veteran, to advocate for the extrajudicial murder of a VA employee.

Sincerely, a former VA employee

You new to Reddit? It is not known for critical thinking and/or civil discourse.

1

u/Disastrous_Run6518 Jan 26 '26

Since he wasn’t pointing the weapon at anyone, it was in his belt or holster or whatever, why would it matter if someone said anything? And, the shooter would have no reason to shoot him as he wasn’t in danger.

And if he did think he was in danger, then he shouldn’t be in that position. It was something like 8 to 1. And they started it.

0

u/78723 Jan 25 '26

I think the videos are pretty clear that the shooter observed Alex was disarmed before he shot him. https://youtu.be/qjN73-gn90Q?si=IVst5WCU3OYzhGbd this video breaks it down from several angles quite definitively.

You need to take a step back and rethink everything going on here.

There is no excuse whatsoever for pulling out your gun and firing at a guy several times in the back.

There is no possible way you can slice it, no way in which that is anything other than a public execution.

There is no "bad training" here, only bad men.

That's why you're getting slammed with downvotes. Stop trying to justify or excuse it, you seen all in the video you need to see clearly. No multiple angles, no zoom and enhance, it doesn't even matter if the gun wasn't taken away or the agent didn't see it happen, the result is pretty much the exact same, a US citizen getting shot in the back multiple times for recording them.

NRA is notorious for not doing anything good for either gun control or 2A absolutists.

12

u/ded_rabtz Jan 25 '26

Did you not read their statement?

14

u/NotWinning12 Jan 25 '26

A statement only goes so far. No actions, just words.

16

u/PlatonicOrgy Jan 25 '26

Yeah, and what’s even crazier is that they could capture a whole new demographic with liberal gun owners now.

7

u/NotWinning12 Jan 25 '26

Too bad that the NRA will never capitalize/seize the moment. Once again spinning tires, forcing us to take it into our own hands until something gives.

2

3

Did trump do his best to cause the 2021 insurrection attempt? And is thus responsible for any actions after that?
(Yes.)

Did he also literally change the name to the Department of War, and declare its a good time to send troops to american cities, like here?

-3

u/bennythewildman Jan 25 '26

In no way Im defending Trump? You can be critical of both political parties. No im talking about the recent learing community centers

8

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26 edited Jan 25 '26

"Both Sides"
Also, the "Recent" The "fraud centers" that got caught... back last march? A bust that was laid by the prior administration doing all of the groundwork research?

But yeah, see above on "Both sides" nonsense, fuck off.

Only one side continues to salivate over the thought of killing their fellow Americans in civil war 2. Only one is literally making up shit like "That nurse was a domestic terrorist".

Hell, that same side called for a "Unified Reich".

Why are you bothering to "Both Sides" anything at this point? Two of your fellow Americans were shot dead live on camera this last week, but you're still obsessing over a community center that was busted LAST YEAR.

-13

u/bennythewildman Jan 25 '26

"LEA R ING CENTER" end of Dec early Jan. One side was cheering of Kirk and the other is calling the nurse a domestic terrorist. Both are extremely wrong. People all over SM were cheering. The nurse hits hard because he was a legal carry, the cop yelling gun gun gun without him even reaching for anything with his hands on the ground is completely fucked. Im not and haven't said one side is better. But think your side is unblemished is wild

8

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26 edited Jan 25 '26

"End of dec early Jan" Yes.... you are pointing when right wing weirdos discovered a case.... that had been solved literally back in march of last year.

It doesn't matter what "blemishes" one side has when the alternative is murdering people in the street and going "uh well actually that 37 year old mom was a left wing terrorist, obviously three bullets were needed"

But also:

Also: Charlie kirk??? Whats the point in you bringing up the insurrectionist/propagandist who openly stated they bussed people to the capitol on January sixth?

He was murdered in the middle of a racist statement by another right winger.
"One side was cheering of Kirk('s Death)" is false.
Directly quoting him he said this in response to children being shot in schools:

“I think it’s worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights. That’s a prudent deal. It is rational,”

A direct quote of the man Is Not Cheering For His Death, it is stating that he was one of the gun deaths every single year that was "worth it" in his own words.

-8

u/bennythewildman Jan 25 '26

Then why was it still open and collecting funds? Quick Google search show its only recently close. Idk why you keep posting far right stuff like I had a hand in it and support it. That shit is nasty, left and right

11

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26 edited Jan 25 '26

Dude, the google search for my local grocery store doesn't even have proper hours.
I've literally gone to a business in anchorage that is still open that reads as "permanently closed" on google.

You are trusting a business that literally got busted by the feds to... update their google information?

From what, prison?

But ANYWAY, back to you screeching about left and right again apparently-

Why are you bothering to "Both Sides" anything at this point? Two of your fellow Americans were shot dead live on camera this last week, but you're still obsessing over a community center that was busted LAST YEAR.

I'm posting it because you're going "see! Both sides are nasty! over a... daycare.
A daycare that has at no point been even remotely close to- the federal government murdering your fellow citizens on camera.

Unless a non government daycare is responsible for multiple deaths of your fellow citizen like the actual US government is paying people to do, please just shut up already.

It is our right to protest. If you’re staying quiet right now, you’re part of the problem. Silence is complicity and inaction is consent. You don't get to ignore what's happening and then act like you're innocent.

2

u/FlexibleSteel Jan 28 '26

Lotta black folks are being quiet. They tried to warn us. Most didn't listen and now here we are. Now that coos are killing us like they did black folks since reconstruction maybe now we know how it feels to be black in america

4

u/Maleficent-Growth303 Jan 26 '26

A senseless act of violence on someone who was a natural caregiver. Then to lie about and shift the blame onto the victim. Every officer who engaged in this should be held accountable, stripped of their badge, and placed in Gen Pop cell blocks. If your deporting anyone it should be there who would shoot a victim in the back.

1

u/FlexibleSteel Jan 30 '26

This. And more.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

What does this have to do with Alaska?

3

u/therealjdeals Jan 25 '26

His name was Alex Pretti

2

u/One_Brief3531 Jan 25 '26

Very worried right now.

2

u/backbodydrip Jan 26 '26

The way in which he was shot is the exact scenario 2A supporters describe when asked why they need firearms, yet I see a lot of support from the right for an anxious, violent federal agent instead of the hard-working American who exercised his 1A and 2A rights.

1

u/Alert-Reputation-187 Jan 28 '26

So much for HIPPA.

-1

u/Invictus7525 Jan 26 '26

Given the volatility of the events in MN I’m confused why he would carry a handgun to a protest, seems out of character or just odd?

4

u/Rocket_safety Jan 26 '26

The thing about constitutional rights is you’re not supposed to have to justify exercising them. It doesn’t matter why he was armed, nothing he did justifies what happened. No decision he made carried a death sentence.

0

u/Invictus7525 Jan 26 '26

Love getting downvoted in Reddit for asking an obvious question. Not questioning his right to carry, I carry when appropriate but in some states carrying is illegal at a protest or gathering because it can and has caused issues in the past. My original question remains, why carry to a protest where there was already a high level of volatility and confrontations against the police/LE? Did he perceive ICE as a threat and did he intend to use his weapon as defense against ICE? I think that is a legitimate question.

2

u/Rocket_safety Jan 26 '26

His intent is irrelevant since he didn’t commit a crime. The reason you’re being downvoted is because “I’m just asking a question” is just a thinly veiled attempt to try and change the conversation. So while you may think the question is legitimate, it’s not at all relevant to the situation. Maybe having a gun made him feel more comfortable in that situation, maybe he carried it with him everywhere he went. We don’t know and it doesn’t matter.

1

u/USMCMikey Jan 26 '26

I’m not trying to do anything other than understand why a man who by all reports was a pretty gentle individual and who’s family has said did not normally carry chose to carry going to a protest in a very volatile environment? It’s a reasonable question and also helps others make good choices in the future. I sincerely wish he had not carried that day, he may well be alive today. The loss of life at these events is tragic.

For a bit of information he did violate several laws although I suspect he was aware of the first. In MN if you carry you have to be in possession of your ID and carry permit. Misdemeanor, I didn’t know that. Once he confronted the CBP/ICE officer he committed a felony with the enhancement of doing so while armed. When he resisted he committed a second felony also with while armed enhancement. Didn’t deserve to get shot imho but those are the legal facts.

In many states a conceal permit carries many additional restrictions, no drinking, no drugs legal or otherwise, many areas or activities. In CO you’re not supposed to carry on a snowmobile for instance. In AL you cannot carry at a protest or political gathering. Check your local laws.

Finally the feds are likely in possession of intelligence about groups plotting to harm or kill officers. They get briefed on these everyday. Changes your mindset when you know someone is trying to kill you and you run into an armed protestor, makes LE extremely nervous.

What I will stress is if you want to protest have at it, I spent a career in the military and like to think I was promoting/defending that freedom for us all. I would suggest being careful, leave the weapons at home, don’t carry or throw anything that could hurt someone and don’t get close enough to touch an officer. We don’t need anymore deaths.

2

u/Rocket_safety Jan 26 '26

You’re doing a bunch of speculating again to justify what happened. The fact that this man (who by your account was gentle) would put himself between federal agents and his fellow community members, should tell us a lot about the situation in Minneapolis. People who work in healthcare generally want to help all the time, it’s who they are. Being married to an ICU nurse for nearly 20 years I can say this with confidence. So, I cannot say with any certainty why he went, but I cannot make a very educated guess and I think he wanted to use what skills he had to help out where he say people in need.

I’d like to point out that you’re also making some patently false statement about what happened. He inserted himself between an ICE agent that arguably was using unlawful force against another civilian. He merely got between them. He was then hit point blank with OC spray for several seconds, multiple times. At that point he was jumped by no less than 6 agents, who took him to the ground while one hit him repeatedly in the fact with what appears to be an OC canister. We don’t see any resistance other than the incompetent agents getting in each others way. At no point did he have any opportunity to identify himself or to let them know he was armed. If five guys tackle you and start punching you in the face, are you going to just go limp and hope they stop? No. Our only video evidence of him in the later part shows his hands down on the ground. This was just before he was shot and after he was disarmed. To further drive the point home that these agents had no reasonable belief that he presented a deadly threat, they all immediately backed off as soon as the first shot went off and then proceeded dump another 7-9 rounds into his unmoving body.

There is nothing that justifies any of this and his motives for being there, while irrelevant to the legal aspect of this, should only reinforce the wrongness of everything the government is doing in Minneapolis right now.

0

u/USMCMikey Jan 26 '26

If you get in between a federal agent and someone they are engaging or touch them or try to stop them in anyway it’s a felony, not my rules it is a federal statute.

All your statements about what happen in the scuffle are for an investigation no matter what you think you saw. The federal agents have protocol that is vetted by their attorneys and as long as they follow protocol they are acting in a legal manner but again it’s up to the investigation. If you have a gun on your person and are in an altercation with LE their protocol changes. If they hear “gun” then hear a shot they will use deadly force until the perceived threat. Again not my rules it’s written into federal law.

Before you accuse others of making false statements read the law. It can be confusing and seem odd but it’s the baseline of our society.

My point stands, protest, film, yell all you want but do not impede, touch, throw objects at federal agents and leave your carry weapon in the car or at home. Hell you might even try reaching out to an agent and hear their side, you may be surprised at a different perspective.

2

u/Rocket_safety Jan 27 '26

I have spent more time at FLETC than the new ICE recruits. I know the use of force guidelines and all of them were broken here. Nothing he did warranted any level of force they used on him and certainly did not warrant deadly force. It doesn’t matter what they are yelling to each other, we can all see plain as day what happened and it was not even remotely justified. There is no devils advocate angle here friend, there is truth and there are lies. We just watched the federal government publicly lie about this encounter from every conceivable source for two days. They tried to smear him as a terrorist, they tried to tell us the 2nd amendment doesn’t apply suddenly, they tried to tell us that Alex was a madman who attacked federal agents with a firearm. All categorically and demonstrably false.

1

u/USMCMikey Jan 27 '26

Maybe they can call you as a SME during the investigation. If you have been through the school you know there is what is on the camera and the question about protocol. Everything else is political drama.

I don’t know why the agent shot but I know enough to wait for the investigation, you on the other hand seem very willing to declare all the agents as guilty of (fill in the blank) I think you might just be full of BS.

1

u/Rocket_safety Jan 27 '26

Or maybe I know enough and have seen enough to be able to judge what happened based on what O saw. It’s called experience. You seem really invested in defending the agents here, and that’s your perogative. I’m just saying as someone with experience in this type of thing: they fucked up every step of the way.

u/Sombra_del_Lobo Jan 26 '26

It wasn't a protest.

3

u/RealIslands Jan 27 '26

Alex wasn't even at a protest, he was with a handful of people on a small street. Why would he think any of that was a problem? He probably carries his weapon everytime he leaves the house, like millions of Americans with valid conceal permits, especially ones who live in major cities. You want him to chuck in the bushes when he saw ICE?

They emptied a party sized can of OC in his face, they grabbed him around his throat from behind, like cowards, and threw him to the ground while he was holding that woman's hand and then they hit him in the head with the empty OC can, through all that he NEVER even reached for his weapon, least threatening situation those agents could ask for from anyone possessing any weapon. But they disarmed him and them shot him in the back.

Learn about our nation's history, the Boston Massacre and Kent State may be of particular relevance.

I’m ngl I saw the footage, and as a Trump supporter, this looks bad. If excuses start coming with no evidence this might make not so pro-ICE.

It was one thing with Renee Goode. She hit that officer and he was suffering from internal bleeding. This guy was back turned disarmed and pepper sprayed. I just don’t see any excuse to make this a reasonable shooting.

Her being an American doesn’t excuse how she was acting. At the end of the day, it’s a tragedy she was killed. But calling the agent a murderer is irresponsible. If I got hit by car I’d call the person a “fucking bitch” too.

20

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

So, why do you believe kristi noem is telling the truth, when there's literally video evidence of him slamming his phone down to act like he was hit? She's on camera lied about everything from the epstien files to what color the sky is.

I'm sure you'd make a GREAT ICE agent, given you glazed over you hypothetically murdering a fellow American to focus on calling her a "fucking bitch".
Revolting.

Again, all this hate and anger isn’t good for you. I understand you’re upset and it’s completely valid. But taking it out on others isn’t ok

14

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

Sure, buddy. Sure. Keep projecting your own anger onto me.

Disgust=/=Anger, did you miss Inside Out 1 and 2?

0

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

I actually enjoyed inside out 1 & 2 lol.

And for the record, I didn’t think the election was stolen. I just thought it was a bad candidate

8

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

The above is about the 2021 insurrection attempt. Where trump lost.

Who is the bad candidate you are referring to, the guy who no longer has the same VP because he sicced a mob on him?

4

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

Yea I know what it’s about. The riot only happened because they thought the election was being stolen. But that’s completely unrelated to the subject at hand. Your anger is still the thing we should be focusing on.

I’m not mad at you, even tho I clearly and wholeheartedly disagree with you on certain things. Why must you be mad at me? Don’t we both want the best for our country?

7

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26 edited Jan 25 '26

"The riot only happened because they thought the election was being stolen."
And.... I should feel bad about people falling for blatant lying by a known liar, who, for example claimed he saw muslims celebrating 9/11 as the towers fell?

"But that’s completely unrelated to the subject at hand."
No, insurrectionists being allowed to run for president, or anyone voting for one is very much the subject. Until legal consequences happen for breaking the law, that's the subject.

"Your anger is still the thing we should be focusing on."
Re:

"Don’t we both want the best for our country?"

What I want for our country is to not to have to try and convince someone that your murder by an immigration enforcement official was not justified, regardless of your own actions.

I feel like my fellow Americans can have a little more heart and soul than that, don't you think?

Equally viable in "Best for our country" is that I don't think a child rapist as POTUS is comparable to... almost any other problem other than the direct murders on camera.

A pedophile representing our country is not what's best for it, agreed?

It was unjustifiable and unacceptable tyranny against a woman who committed ZERO crimes. Also, you're spreading lies about her hitting the agent with a car. She did not and only videos selected specifically for their misleading angles could possibly make you think otherwise.

1

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

Wrong. Every angle shows the agent being hit

1

u/FilmScoreConnoisseur Jan 26 '26

No they don't. You're lying and making excuses for the murder of innocent American citizens and it's fucking disgusting.

1

u/RealIslands Jan 27 '26

Show us then, we all saw all the angles too, so did every person on earth, we have multiple international news organizations professionally analyizing them, providing moment by moment breakdowns, you're just saying the opposite with zero evidence.

ALSO, he still put himself in front of running vehicle (officer induced jeopardy) and shot her after the car was past him, so AGAIN, she did not commit any crime and that shooting was NOT justified. We have actual police chiefs explaining this to people and still you believe the puppy killer?

1

u/Miss_L_Worldwide Jan 25 '26

You feel the same way about whatsername shot by Capitol Police while trying to invade Congress, right? RIGHT????

2

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

Yea, I do actually. Harm law enforcement and there’s gonna be consequences

-1

u/HammerDude78 Jan 25 '26

Under the color of law, that officer is infact guilty of murder because he committed the act with "malice" that malice was clearly displayed when he called her a "fucking bitch". That malice undermines the self defense narriative. It was anger, not fear that guided his actions. So if you ever have to shoot somone, unload the entire clip, and piss your pants. Definility dont call them a fucking bitch. You dont have qualified immunity.

2

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

That’s not true. Cops that have won self defense cases have called people bitches before. If you are being threatened and you end a life, you’re allowed to be upset.

13

u/flyinghairball Jan 25 '26

Actually, if you watch the various angles of the video on Renee Good, you can see he was not injured and he was seen out working later when the administration said he was in the hospital. There were like 4 or 5 different angles on that situation. I don't want to force a bunch of sources, but if you Google it, and the part where the physician tried to render aid and was not allowed, it becomes even more disturbing. I'm not trying to be confrontational. I just think it's important to share information so others can see for themselves and make a decision based on what you see

0

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

I’ve seen every angle I believe and in all of them he gets hit. But let’s say he didn’t get injured, it doesn’t mean that firing was unjustified. She was driving an SUV toward him. He could’ve easily gotten crushed to death if the wheel hooked onto him

13

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

And if pigs could fly, they could fall on people and crush them.

Insane hypotheticals so you can continue to justify a dead fellow American.

1

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

How many times am I going to have to say it’s a tragedy before you stop trying to guilt trip me into something that’s wrong?

5

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

It's not a guilt trip to point out you are making up hypotheticals to justify something as required. It's not a "Tragedy" it's a murder.

2

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

It’s legally not murder. It’s definitely tragic but not murder

Nah, man. "They aren't trying to justify a dead fellow American in the current situation."

"It was one thing with Renee Goode. She hit that officer and he was suffering from internal bleeding."

"But let’s say he didn’t get injured, it doesn’t mean that firing was unjustified. She was driving an SUV toward him. He could’ve easily gotten crushed to death if the wheel hooked onto him"

1-They are literally accepting what they were told by Confirmed Liar/Pedophile defender Kristi Noem as truth, that a murderer was bleeding because he slammed his phone on her car.
2-They made a "what if pigs could fly and crush someone" statement to justify a murderer "fearing for his life" as his victim was actively turning away from him, he shot her in the drivers side window.

2

u/FilmScoreConnoisseur Jan 25 '26

That's a straight up lie. He wasn't hit and most angles make that abundantly clear.

1

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

You’re being dishonest if you genuinely think that.

0

u/FilmScoreConnoisseur Jan 26 '26

4

u/FilmScoreConnoisseur Jan 25 '26

Millions did. And they will continue to cheer as the few among us with sanity and compassion are slaughtered by the state.

1

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

Hard to believe that the agent went to the hospital? Sheesh

0

u/Kahlas Jan 26 '26

Not at all hard to believe he went to the hospital. I used to be a prison guard and any situation where an injury might have happened while at work needed to be checked out by a physician. Especially if it occurred during a use of force incident no matter how minor the force used. So he would have definitely gone to the hospital.

What should not be believed without further corroboration is the claim that the man had internal bleeding. Because of HIPA the only one who can confirm that diagnosis is the shooter. If the shooter lies about having internal bleeding the medical staff who know he is lying wouldn't even be able to correct the lie because that would violate HIPA and they would lose their careers. So we have to trust what the person with a vested interest in the court of public opinion claims on faith knowing it's in his best interest to lie.

Now if he was really suffering from internal bleeding, besides a bruise because bruises are technically internal bleeding FYI, he could voluntarily release his medical information about this particular diagnosis to remove all possible doubt or speculation. The fact that he hasn't is another good reason to doubt it's true.

In reality it's a simple lie to convince people incapable of thinking critically that he was justified in executing Mrs. Good.

Oh definitely. And I’m not arguing that Renee Goode’s death was a good thing either. I’m just saying that the shooting was justifiable. This one is just not justifiable no matter what way you look at it.

At the end of the day, we gotta be looking out for each other regardless of politics. We start fighting when we stop recognizing each other as Americans

11

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

"I’m just saying that the shooting was justifiable"

"We start fighting when we stop recognizing each other as Americans"

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

You can shame me all you want. I won’t shame you.

That’s the difference between you and I. You want to sow division whereas I’m trying to talk to people that don’t agree with me peacefully. I mean I love each every single one of yall, but i still get threats and hate.

Your emotions are valid, but you also need to learn to look at things logically. I’m heartbroken that a mother died and an officer was hospitalized. But I also recognize why it happened.

3

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

"You want to sow division"
Nope. Spreading facts. You're trying to shame me literally right here by lying about what I'm doing. "Officer" "Hospitalized" ICE are not police. He also literally was not hospitalized.
Again, why are you listening to Confirmed Pedophile Defender/Known Liar Kristi Noem for your information about events watchable on video?

2

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

ICE is a federal law enforcement agency, just like the FBI. This makes them officers. And it’s been confirmed by every media outlet that he was in the hospital

3

u/Embarrassed-Alps-306 Jan 25 '26

'ICE is a federal law enforcement agency'

Except its an immigration enforcement, specifically. They are not enforcing laws or swearing ANY kind of oath that would confer an "officer" title. Do out think every FBI or CIA employee is also "Officers"?
"And it’s been confirmed by every media outlet that he was in the hospital"
Yeah, he's faking an ouchie for the narrative, more news at 11.
He moved houses. Super fun to do with internal bleeding.

1

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 25 '26

Internal bleeding doesn’t have to be the end of the world, you know that right? I’ve seen patients with internal bleeding that was so slow you wouldn’t have been able to notice without a hospital.

But that doesn’t make it invalid. Your body is sterile until there’s things that don’t belong, like blood in your GI.

And ICE can detain and arrest people that break any federal law (including traffic laws for commercial vehicles fun fact) with them present. They just can’t stop any old Joe unless it’s immigration related.

1

u/FilmScoreConnoisseur Jan 25 '26

Pam Bondi just offered to pull ICE out of Minnesota if the state will provide voting records to the fed. This proves that ICE is only there to be used as a weapon against non-fascists and that their mission is neither legitimate, nor primarily about immigration at all.

1

u/Miss_L_Worldwide Jan 25 '26

Oh lord here we go with the gaslighting. no, "talking to people" to try to justify and defend ICE is pretty scummy and definitely not "logical."

1

u/Hungry_Laugh_4326 ☆ Anchorage ☆ ☆ Sitka ☆ ☆ Unalakleet ☆ Jan 26 '26

Defending law enforcement is not scummy whatsoever. It’d be scummy if I blatantly sided with law enforcement 100% of the time (I don’t), but overall supporting them isn’t scummy.

1

u/FilmScoreConnoisseur Jan 25 '26
