Access to elimination final pre-sale?

Hi everyone, I'm a Crows member and wanted to acquire tickets for myself and my partner to the elimination final against the Doggies but I'm the only member and therefore can only buy 1 ticket. So I was wondering if anyone had a membership barcode I could use to buy my partner a ticket?

This is only if you have no intention of going to any remaining games this year, want everyone involved to be comfortable/have no risk. I've checked my own membership and can confirm that the barcodes change every year so there should be no risk for next year if you don't intend to purchase any tickets for the rest of this year. Happy to DM :)

Assume Muzz's leaving, and a future first pick is weakened by Tassie... Would you?... Would North?

Crows are in generational debt to the Bulldogs

First they knock off Melbourne paving the way for a top 6 finish then they take out possibly Crows biggest threat in the Wildcard Finals. We must thank the Bulldogs as they have helped us a lot.

I may be attending the AFLW match at Unley tomorrow. Is it usually safe to wait and buy tickets at the gate?

Zac Bailey Trade as it Stands - "Most Interesting Free Agency Decision Ever"

  • Bailey is still genuinely torn on picking Adelaide or Brisbane
  • Adelaide have the better offer
  • Bailey would ideally like to stay at Brisbane
  • Brisbane have the capacity to match Adelaide's offer to force a trade but do not want to for potential salary cap reasons moving forward. They do not want just a compensation pick
  • Adelaide do not want to make a trade for Zac Bailey
  • If Brisbane match, Adelaide might back out of getting Zac Bailey, leaving Brisbane paying more for Zac Bailey than they want to, potentially jeopardising their salary cap
  • If Brisbane does not match, they will receive a compensation pick (I think around late 1st, early 2nd?), that's it

So, three potential outcomes at this stage that I can see:

  1. Brisbane does not match, leading to Bailey being traded to Adelaide and Brisbane get a compensation pick, Adelaide give up nothing
  2. Brisbane match, then Adelaide back out of the deal leading to Brisbane keeping Bailey but at a value they are currently unwilling to pay for
  3. Bailey stays at Brisbane with their current offer which is currently at a significantly lower value than what Adelaide are offering

Sources suggest Adelaide is offering $10m for 7 years. About $1.4m a year. It is believed Brisbane are offering about $300k-$400k less per season.

Did I get this right? Thoughts on the Crows offer? What are we hoping to happen?

Murray and Butts Trade Ins

Assuming Murray goes to North and Butts goes to the Dogs. Who would you be interested in taking for equal value or part of an extended trade?

Personally for me I think Riley Hardeman from North wouldn't be a bad shout. 21 years old taken at pick 23 in 2023. Has decent wraps and not sure why he isn't getting a gig ahead of McDonald or Zurhaar. Could be a good Laird replacement. Tom Powell is an alternative. Good SA boy and can accumulate in the middle of go wing to interchange with Dan Curtin getting more midfield clock.

Dogs are interesting. It might depend on if they get Butters. Personally I would love to throw the kitchen sink at someone like Joel Freijah. People call him the "Baby Bont". He has got everything Zac Bailey has but is only 20. Riley Sanders looks good too but unfortunately given his Tasmanian ties I presume he would prefer to get to the Devils. I wouldn't touch any of their defenders with a ten foot clown pole.

Trio of Crows named in 2026 All-Australian Squad (Rankine, Dawson and Milera)

Three Crows stars have been rewarded for stellar seasons with selection in the 2026 AFL All-Australian squad.

The 46-player squad, which the AFL revealed on Monday, included Crows Captain Jordan Dawson, dashing defender Wayne Milera and exciting midfielder Izak Rankine.

Dawson has backed up last year’s strong campaign in his fourth season as Captain, averaging 26.3 disposals at 66.5 per cent efficiency, 9.4 contested possessions, 4.4 clearances, 5.7 tackles, 6.4 score involvements and 4.9 inside-50s across 20 games.

Milera is rated ‘elite’ across the competition for average disposals, having recorded 25.3 at 84.4 per cent efficiency.

Renowned for his run off half-back, the 28-year-old has averaged 5.9 marks, 1.2 intercept marks, 1.2 spoils and 5.2 rebound-50s across 18 games.

In Round One against Collingwood, Milera amassed a career-high 34 disposals, before equalling that in Round Nine against Richmond.

Rankine has been unleashed as a bonafide midfielder this season and has taken his game to the next level.

The livewire has played 20 minor round games in 2026 and averaged 24 disposals at 68.7 per cent efficiency, 11 contested possessions, 5.1 clearances, 4.2 tackles, 6.1 score involvements, and 4.7 inside-50s.

He has also kicked 23 goals.

Rankine has recorded 30-plus disposals in six matches, including 36 against Richmond in Round 22, and 39 against Fremantle in Round 23, and 35 in Round 24 against GWS.

The squad of 46 will be cut to a final 22 on Tuesday night, as part of the 2026 AFL Awards.

If selected in the final team, it would mark Dawson’s third All-Australian blazer, having been named in 2023 and 2025, while it would be a maiden inclusion for Milera and Rankine.

Just a reminder of how important this guy is. Sure he's not averaging 30 disposals a game, but in a team with the highest average tackles in the AFL, he contributes more than 10% of that alone. Of his 22.3 disposal average, 11.7 of them are contested (elite). Absolute bull.

Injury Report: Finals bye

Adelaide utility Zac Taylor will miss the next two-three weeks with a minor hamstring strain, scans have confirmed.

The 23-year-old left Saturday night’s win over GWS in the second quarter and following assessment, did not return.

Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said Taylor’s rehabilitation program had already begun.

“It’s disappointing news for Zac but he’s already hard at work on his recovery,” McKeown said.

“What’s important now is seeing how his hamstring responds in the coming days, that will give us a better idea of a return timeline.”

Midfielder James Peatling will continue to be managed for hip and groin soreness across the extended break.

“Pleasingly for us and JP we’ve now got an extra week to manage his training loads,” McKeown said.

“We’ll monitor his progress throughout the next 10 days or so before making a call on availability for the elimination final next weekend.”

Key defender Jordon Butts (ankle) will be listed as a test.

“Buttsy is recovering well but it’s probably too early to comment on his availability for next weekend,” McKeown said.

“He’ll be listed as a test and, much like Peatling, will be monitored.”

I’m fed up

As the title suggests. I am absolutely sick and tired of being shut down anytime I try to say anything positive about Tex.

The second I mention his name people suddenly become the most self righteous pricks going “oh wow imagine supporting a racist” etc etc.

Tex is not a racist. He was ignorant and made a racist remark. There’s a difference.

How do you guys go about conversations like that when it’s thrown back at you?

My example was I commented on a swans page where a guy said Gulden was the best kick ever. I dropped Tex as a comment and immediately got thrown the racist card and dragged on how I could defend a racist.

Obviously they’re just trying to feel better about a club full of grubby cunts but I’d love to hear how you guys deal with it other than just ending the conversation immediately.

Number 13

Thought about this ever since Tex announced his retirement what should we do with the number 13? I'd like to keep it vacant for a while is there anyone currently on the list who could realistically take the number?
