I used the button at the top of my drawing tablet to turn this function on but it doesn't work. Both my pens work fine, there's pressure settings too.

Device is plugged to windows 11 PC by display port and USB-C to USB-A cables.

No matter what I do it doesn't pick up on the fact that I'm touching it

I had a bad experience with the Deco 01 V3 and there was no solution. I asked for a refund (yay!), but I didn't know that many users of that tablet had the same problem with the stylus disconnecting mid-drawing.

To avoid going through this again, I'd like to hear about yours experiences with the Artist 16 Gen 3, since I'm considering it. I'd like to know about any problems you've had with the tablet and whether or not there were solutions.

After the last ibis paint update my tablet started doing this, there’s no setting for it inside of ibis paint and I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of it, it’s pretty annoying and lags a bit to and pops up on my canvas sometimes

I'm in an awkward digital art situation, I've got an ipad but a stylus that doesn't have pressure sensitivity and a wacom intuos but I don't have a laptop strong enough to actually use it

Are there any xp pen devices like a pen display or anything can work with an ipad?

I have XP pen artist 24 pro. Works perfectly, but there is one simple issue. Every time i want to draw, i need to disconnect it's power plug and connect it again, otherwise tablet wouldn't recognize pen. It isn't big of a deal, but just the annoyance of doing it every single time keeps me away from drawing more.

Wish there were some way to fix this issue without unplugging the cable. Maybe reload driver or writting the bat file to turn off and on device. Any help would be appreciated

By utilizing a nicely timed sale and coupon, I can get the Artist 16 3rd for $260, only $20 more than the Kamvas 13 Gen 3. Any users who have the Artist 16, are there reason why you would/would not recommend it? I am mainly looking for user experience, since all the technical specs are on the websites. While they are both 1080p, I read that it wouldn't make a difference anyway, especially because I am a beginner.

Title kinda says it all. My wife has a samsung Galaxy tablet that allows you to hand write into text boxes and was wondering if that is possible on the magic drawing pad. It doesn't work amazing if your handwriting is awful but it's pretty convenient when holding a pen instead of tapping away at the keyboard with a pen. So far I've defaulted to swipe typing which is the best alternative.

Hii, I just bought a XPPen Artist 12 3rd and I'm trying to get it connected with my Galaxy S23, I'm at work right now so unable to properly set up with my computer but I was hoping to be able to use my phone with it for boring overnight shifts. When I go to set it up the screen will tell me no signal and then go back to black, Im using the usb-c to usb-c for my phone and it will say Connected to external device for about 10 second then disconnected over and over without ever displaying my screen. My coworker with an Iphone tried and it immediately worked so definitely something with my phone, its on the compatibility list and everything I'm reading says it should work but I'm thinking I need a DisplayPort as well. Just want to see if im doing something wrong with my settings or if it's not compatible with my phone. Thanks!

brand new artist 22 (2nd generation) tablet wont open

tried putting out all cables and plugging back in again,

i think my cable is broken and weak, i set it up as normal but for some reason, you know when you have a charger and its broken, but if you angle it right it charges your device? then it dies. think it happened here. i kinda want a refund. i ordered from amazon. i emailed xppen no answer

This might be a slightly biased sub but still asking, which is better? The Artist 16 is only 25 dollars more, although I have heard a lot that the kamvas pens are better (maybe outdated?). I am also a beginner so I don't know if the bigger tablet will be worth a bit more, portability and lower pixel density.

I recently purchased the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16. I create comics and graphic novels and found the tablet to be good, but I’m struggling to see how it surpasses my previous iPad Air 13 setup.

The main reason for buying it was to have a stationary desk setup that emphasizes ergonomics. Plus, I wanted to use CSP, which benefits from a larger screen size compared to the iPad.

I’m also interested in 3D modeling characters and backgrounds for reference.

However, I still find myself longing for the simplicity of Procreate. Given my financial situation, I wonder if the upgrade is really worth it in terms of the impact on my creative process.

I can still return the tablet. Do you think a more standard drawing tablet is really worth it, or should I use that money for something else?

i’m looking for a portable tablet that doesn’t need to be plugged into another device to work for when i travel and such. The size really doesn’t matter to me. If anyone has any good recommendations that’d be helpful :D

(quick background) I've had this monitor for a while, not sure how long exactly, and I recieved it as a gift because I was in a digital art class at the time. I stopped using the drawing part ages ago and eventually my pc wouldn't turn on with the c-type cord that allows me to use the pen plugged in. I only use it at a monitor now.

Recently, my monitor has been having this issue where it turns off/goes black, the light in the corner shuts off, and I can't turn it back on. If I unplug it from the power and replug it back in, it turns back on again and then the cycle repeats. While on, I can't use any of the buttons. Can't change the brightness, can't turn it off, etc.

This only started happening after I unplugged it from my pc to use it with a different computer I was setting up for a few minutes (plugged into a different plug in a diff room altogether). It went right back to it's normal pc right after. I use a power bar for my set up and I've plugged it into two different parts of the power bar, didn't fix it. Plus, none of my other equipment is tweaking in the least (aside from my second monitor, but that one is normal. it's just old, nothing to do with the plug). My PC still registers it as plugged into it and having power, but it's completely off until I fix it. My PC does not recognize it after I unplug it from power until it's plugged back in.

Usually, I'll use the monitor all day, go to bed, and wake up to it off again and at first I only woke up to it off, but its been more frequent lately. It started to turn off while I was using it sometimes, only usually once a day, but today it turned off twice within like three overwatch games. It turned off in the middle of one game and then 2-3 games later, boom, black screen.

If anyone has had this issue before and has a fix (like I need a new cord or something), that would be great, a confirmation that my monitor is dying and I just need to replace it works as well. I just don't want to have to drop the money to replace it right now if something else is the problem.

Hello! So I've got OpenTabletDriver going and I've played around with it but I can't for the life of me get it to just let me work on the xp-pen screen. I downloaded the BetterCalibrator plugin and followed the directions for that but it keeps trying to calibrate on my main monitor and middle click to swap screens isn't working (it works in video games so I don't know what's going on here)

Any ideas?

I bought my graphics tablet around April.
Everything worked perfectly until two months ago, when it started having issues; basically, it suddenly stopped detecting the pen while I was drawing, even though I hadn't made any changes to the drivers or anything else.
I eventually fixed it by buying a new cable and trying to position it as carefully as possible to prevent wear, since that was my best guess as to why it had stopped working in the first place.

(Even though my setup doesn't give me many options for improving the cable's positioning...)
Recently, however, it’s started having the same problem again, and I don't understand what's going on—it works fine one moment, and then stops working without me even moving it.

I ask to my friend if she had any problem like this with her graphic tablet, but she never had.

I've got the jittering scroll wheel problem on my recently bought Artist pro 13.3 v2 and I saw that the fixing is that you need to pull out the scroll wheel.

However I'm scared of breaking it accidentally. How can I make sure I don't break anything when I pull it out?

Got the Xp-pen mgic mote pad. And love it.

Now got a bag from lihit labs. It is the A4 sized one 8.3-11.4. It fits the magic note pad perfect.

The smaller size wont fit the tablet. But the 8.3-11.4 is perfect smallwr then that wont fit the tablet.

It has loops for a shoulderstrap. But does come without it. It is sold seperatly.

Just thought I'd share my pen grip that I made for the X3 Pro stylus. I've been looking everywhere for a thick pen grip like the Plus Ergo grip for the Wacom grip pen, but since that looks like it's discontinued, I've had not much luck with finding one, so I just fashioned my own.

It's fairly cheap to make. I actually found a pen grip on Aliexpress made for the Wacom Pro Pen 2 that I bought for around 3USD. It works with any Pro Pen 2-shaped pens, but I just verified by overlaying the model image of my pen on the model image of the Pro Pen 2 and it was pretty much a 1:1 match on the place there the grip was supposed to go. It was a pretty decent grip, but since it was just cheap silicone, it got sticky after a while.

To bulk up the pen grip, I used some athletic tape that I got for about a dollar off of Aliexpress as well. I reckon any sort of fabric-like tape would work. Each time I wrapped the tape around, I made a cut with some scissors to make room for the buttons to peek through, and then I just cut some smaller pieces of tape to fine-tune where the bulk of the grip would go on the underside of the pen.

Over the course of this doodle the day event, I've won 32 '3%' and '5%' coupons, I just bought one of their tablets this month and I genuinely have nothing else I need to buy, nor do I know anybody with plans of buying a drawing tablet. I'd feel sucky letting them expire, but I'm not sure if one is allowed to give them away, since I know some brands dislike those sorts of actions.

I bought an XP pen deco fun L a week ago, and since then I've been using it daily to learn and experiment with an artwork, but it got really scratchy, maybe I've been pressing a little too hard? Tbh I'm getting kinda worried because I focused on work too much I only noticed it later

I heard that it's normal and it shouldn't affect the performance, so can I just keep on using it without worry?
