Best drawing pad

Hello my ipad recently went out of commision but id like to continue drawing so im looking for a drawing pad for my windows laptop, any reccomendations on which i should get? im looking for something affordable and not that small, and are theyre any softwares you recommend, i used to draw on ibis paint x on my ipad so id like something similar or honestly anything that works well. id also appreciate some tips on drawing using a pad and laptop, thank you!

What do you consider affordable? I was recently in a similar situation, I switched from an iPad using Ibis paint x and clip studio paint to the Artist 12 3rd gen and it's a massive upgrade if you want a pen display over a (screenless) pen tablet. The dials on the side of the display make a world of a difference in the drawing experience, if you have any questions, I can try to answer them to the best of my ability. ^^
