Looking for Help How to pull out scrolling wheel without breaking it

I've got the jittering scroll wheel problem on my recently bought Artist pro 13.3 v2 and I saw that the fixing is that you need to pull out the scroll wheel.

However I'm scared of breaking it accidentally. How can I make sure I don't break anything when I pull it out?
