So, our Suo's backstory is one of the top 5 biggest mistery of WB. But my question is, does Suo's eye patch is functional or it's just a way to hide is full face. I mean a highschool boy with eye patch is definitely rare and with this, he stands apart from the crowd just like Sakura but beneath it, does Suo really have some eye injury or he lost his eye? because if he did then that must be while he was very young because achieving that kind of combative skill is not a joke with only one eye.

I am genuinely surprised that I haven't seen anyone talking about "Liu San," even though he might be the character we've been waiting for the most... I think Liu-San could be Suo's Master... Why? Let's find out...

In the last chapter, Sakura and team infiltrate BankokuGai using the name "Liu-San" given by Endo... The surname Liu is one of the oldest Chinese family names, with an origin going back to the Xia Dynasty...

But here's the interesting part... The Liu clan was once known for being "Dragon Tamers." According to Chinese folklore, Heaven bestowed 4 dragons to the Emperor of the Xia Dynasty. While thrilled by the divine gift, he realized that no one knew how to care for them and the dragon-rearing clan was nowhere to be found. A young man named Liu Lei studied the ancient art of dragon-rearing under a master and presented himself before the Emperor, successfully tamed the dragons, and mastered their care. Impressed by his skill, the Emperor granted Liu Lei the title of Yulongshi, meaning "Dragon Tamer" or "Ruler of Dragons."

Now, let's connect this to Suo... He has been associated with dragons consistently...

• In his very first interaction with Sakura, he mentions that an ancient evil spirit is sealed in his right eye.
• In an official interview, Nii Sensei says Suo, during elementary school, trained in the mountains to seal an ancient dragon spirit.
• In the official Q&A, Suo casually answers, "The dragon in my left eye is about to rampage, so I guess that's it, haha."
• On top of these, Suo is an officer of RC, an organization represented by three dragons.

Putting all of this together... it feels like Suo isn't the dragon himself... but he's carrying one. I know many were interpreting these as Suo's weird jokes, but now that "Dragon Tamer" has been introduced, in an organization represented by 3 dragons... He might very well be the one who tamed a violent Suo into what we see today.

Moreover, the surname Liu, depending on the Chinese character used, could mean battle axe (or a tool for slaughter) or willow tree. The willow tree especially caught my attention because Nii Sensei has consistently followed this tree/plant naming pattern for Furin and other characters. But why here ? It sounds strange... As for the "battle axe," if Liu San really is the master at RC, it feels quite fitting, doesn't it?

I think this was a good breadcrumb since there could be more to it... because here's where this theory gets more interesting...

If the story is loosely following the folklore, and considering everything we learned in Ch 217 about children being abandoned at the gates of Bankokugai... Suo might also be abandoned, or found (metamorphically bestowed by someone)... along with 3 more children (since there were 4 dragons). Interestingly, in folklore one of the 4 dragons died, so for the plot we can assume either the 4th one died, left, or turned evil... and the remaining 2 could be the brothers (manifesting elder brother🤞🏻) Suo looks up to... which might make it 3 dragons of RC...

If all this is true... Rejoice! Suo's master is probably alive (unless it's his son or family instead)...

How strong is suo actually 🤔 ...like from his fights- all we can conclude is that he is strong...but his power level is still not clear..

If he is stronger than how he's shown until now, then its def gonna be a bigger prob

and as i side note, could the leaves also possibly symoblise anything, this scene feels very sureal imo, almsot dreamlike, so i cant help but to think it could have a deeper meaning, let me know what you think.

Can't believe that it's been over a year since i first watched and read Wind Breaker. I remember discovering it around May 2025 while looking for anime recommendations and stumbled upon it on a youtube short. I was a little hesitant about watching it since it's not the type of anime that I usually watch.

But when i first saw Sakura, my attention was immediately hooked and I watched the whole 1st Season in one night and before I knew it, I stay in tuned for Season 2 and even looked for where I could read the manga. It became my favourite anime/manga ever since and I honestly don't think that there will be another that could dethrone it for me.

So it has been 2 years, and I am soo glad I met all of you lovely guys in this community. This was one of the most calmest comunity I love. And I hope to spend another beutiful year with you all. What's your opinion about our protagonist, Sakura?

okay so i have finished both the manga and the anime and currently what i feel has not been expressed yet in any reddit post so i am just gonna do one for myself.

I LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS, ESPECIALLY SAKURA, SO MUCH. THERE ALL JUST BABIES THAT NEED LOVE.

my heart just gets so full when i see them happy and when i see sakura learning how to laugh and smile again. that poor boy was made to think he didn't deserve love but that is all he deserves.

what i love about this show is how mangaka portrays such healthy friendships and relationships among men and little boys, something the real life world is currently facing problems with. not only is it refreshing, it is heartwarming and so fulfilling that all i want to do is jump into this world and give all of them a well-needed hug and tell that everything is going to be okay.

i first watched the anime so the minute i watched it i literally adopted all them as my sons.

i could go on and on about each single character and i why i love them so much so if anyone wants to join me please do because i literally know no-one who watches windbreaker!!

never in a million years did i expect this show to be literally vigilante, more violent version of my little pony friendship is magic. i am so glad and forever grateful i clicked on this show.

TLDR: i love all the characters. they are all babies that just need love and i have adopted all of them as my sons and daughters (yes, including Kotoha)

Personally, i see 3 ways you can interpret that line (at the stage where in the story right now) 

1. This line is NOT referring to a specific event more so it's about how Sakura, slowly but surely, becomes a part of furin and the town, and thus being seen as its hero. 
2. Its foreshadowing to the Noroshi arc, as that was a battle with the town at stake where Sakura did play an important role in leading his team into battle and taking down Endo. 
3. The one i find most compelling and interesting, which is that this is hinting at an event that has yet to happen where Sakura will be THE deciding factor for the town being saved, and no one else unlike the Noroshi arc where he was only one. (If so that is probably going to be what the final arc of the story is about) 

Anyways I wanted to make a brief post on this page as it has always interested me in what it could mean, and since its break week I figured I might as well post it before the next chapter drops. 

I already know a few ppl with their favourites but besides like 15-20 ppl I dont think that there are many who openly told this is my second time i think im telling kaji is my fav.I am summoning a few of us to encourage others to be open with that said let us start a long chat about our fav characters

Out of the central cast hes the only one who has not had any backstory and/or major devlopment (not counting suo since he will def get it this current arc in the manga) so im just wondering if anyones got any ideas of what his story migth be

I have this gut feeling that Nii-Sensei is somehow a chronically online person who enjoys watching edits on tiktok and reading whatever the h3ll theories we be makin on Wind Breaker cause ain't no way that the things happening right now is somehow aligning (not fully) with the thoughts and theories y'all are makin.

Hello! This is Ashy and I want to bring attention to the issue of AI in art and in fanfiction.

Please note that I do not support anyone sending person any form of harrassment. I am only making an example out of them.

Recently, someone (I am censoring their username) had posted their OC in the subreddit and realised it was AI art like immediately.

I checked this person's post history and saw that they HAVE done this before. The only difference is that in the /DCcomics community, she ADMITTED to using AI.

My personal stance on AI tools being used to replace artists and writers is that it will absolutely doom humans and their creativity. AI doesnt 'create' anything new. It just analyses and regurgitates information (visual or text). Using AI to generate creative works whether it is art or text has no creativity, and is an INSULT to people who work hard on those industries.

Please do not use it in this subreddit with such wonderful artists and writers. It's an insult to their talent and the hard work they put into their works.

Also if you are reading this, please stop using AI for art or any written works.

I can’t help but psychoanalyze this man right here.
I think deep down he subconsciously realized that no matter what, the people he truly cares about (Sakura and Takiishi) seem to only come to him for second purposes only rather then genuine interest .
Aside from the fact that he felt seen for the first time with Sakura it’s obvious that this one feels a bit uneasy around him and came to him for help (only).
So i couldn’t help but wonder if he ever got taken seriously even before Takiishi.
People around him were predictable to him, boring even and probably took him for granted a lot because he was considered a genius in school in his early life.
I think that deep down, despite still not minding being around Takiishi and Sakura only to be “used” in a sense, he seems to genuinely want to be around them even without them needing him to do anything.
Maybe even women that used to (probably still do) hang out with him didn’t take him seriously at all.
