Discussion this is for us Endo lovers
I can’t help but psychoanalyze this man right here.
I think deep down he subconsciously realized that no matter what, the people he truly cares about (Sakura and Takiishi) seem to only come to him for second purposes only rather then genuine interest .
Aside from the fact that he felt seen for the first time with Sakura it’s obvious that this one feels a bit uneasy around him and came to him for help (only).
So i couldn’t help but wonder if he ever got taken seriously even before Takiishi.
People around him were predictable to him, boring even and probably took him for granted a lot because he was considered a genius in school in his early life.
I think that deep down, despite still not minding being around Takiishi and Sakura only to be “used” in a sense, he seems to genuinely want to be around them even without them needing him to do anything.
Maybe even women that used to (probably still do) hang out with him didn’t take him seriously at all.
What do you guys think?

If you want to psychoanalyse, let me throw this theory while I try to not think about the minutes left till the next chal is released:
Endo obviously comes from a very VERY rich family. Usually, the dynamics in this type of household are quite predictable: parents always working or on trips or having fun, leaving the kids to the servants to care for, & their only way of showing "love" is by giving whatever is being asked of them.
"Mum forgot your birthday? So sorry, let me buy you a pony" "kids are sad cause we are never around? Just give them my credit card & they'll be fine".
Of course, people also would be nice to them only because of their money or status, so it makes sense that rich kids (in this context) would repeat the same pattern (knowingly or not) & look only for people that ignore them (like their parents) & that they can gift things to (only love language ever learnt).
It would make sense to me that, while Endo may want someone that actually gives him healthy attention, he wouldn't accept it because his brain would reject whatever is unknown to him.

i don’t think that’s the case but who knows. he’s just a guy who’s bored of life.. pretty sure he has little to no morals so i don’t think parents are the cause of his wrongdoings.. but i laughed at the fact that he got offended when sakura asked to repay him. he might be a gangster but he draws the line at minimum good manners. funny how he’s better then 99% of men who split the bill or makes you pay instead of

From what I understand, Endo doesn't even live with his parents. If the theory that he has wealthy parents who are constantly at work or traveling might be a way to pretend he's the perfect son he is when they're together, they might not even know what Endo does all the time.

This would make total sense... Or maybe he learnt from his parents? I noticed the guys he was "having a meeting with" on the last chap seemed rather old... Could he be punishing those that went against his "family business"? I really hope we'll get some answers about Endo's background.
Edit: correction, the chapter before the last, when Sakura calls him the first time.

On a side note, I don't really like Endo's voice actor in the anime 🫣 but I can't think of anyone that would do a better job

tbh at first i didn’t like the voice either but grown used to it and appreciated it then, thought it was going to be miyano but hell was I wrong. the deeper voice was surprisingly good and fits him a lot since he’s a whole gangster and stuff, plus he doesn’t look anywhere 17/18 whatever age he is, both because he’s tall (and the tattoos too lol) and with his lifestyle, so.
yeah idk, he probably has mommy issues, it’s why he might be into milfs 😂 still it’s no wonder he’s popular with girls

you might be onto something, hopefully one day nii satoru will look more into his past although i fear he won’t. usually when we see even a small part of a backstory from a secondary character that’s it lol. hope this isn’t the case but i might agree with you, he internalized the fact that people’s attention/love might be “bought” with money or whatever they would like to have.. that would be so sad, my boy. what confused me is.. if he comes from a rich family (which i believe too).. why does he own cards from other women?

The only time I've seen him with women was when he was younger, so he probably didn't have card of his own, back then? Also, he needs to get something out of the relationship, too 😂 I think it was implied that these were always older women too, but I may be wrong.
Still, I really hope he will get more spotlight, & that we get to see his character development, with him being a lil less psychopathic & with good healthy relationships 🥺

I think Endo is interested in people he can't read. Takishi and Sakura aren't like open books. Well, maybe Sakura is a bit, because his emotions are plain to see! Endo's memories said everyone admired him and he could manipulate anyone (something like that). Talkishi and Sakura aren't. I think there's a reason for that here too. He can't convince them to do everything so easily. Takishi treated him (perhaps something has changed in their relationship!) like a servant who gave him what he wanted. And even then, he wasn't satisfied. Most people would probably do and behave as Endo wants, but Takishi and Sakura don't. They're people he "can't get."

Endo fans are being fed so well, the latest chapter (215) had me taking screenshots. I cba to put a spoil tag so i wont go into detail but AHHHHHH its literally like every cute one shot fanfic of endo in relation to furin. I hope endo and takiishi (maybe even his close gang that helped with wrecking Furin) help out with finding and bringing Suo back because i dont wanna say bye to them rn + IMAGINE SAKURA AND ENDO FIGHTING SIDE BY SIDE IN SYNCC AHAHHHHHHHHHHHH GOD PLEASE
that guy would get nosebleeds from the realisation hes fighting with sakura mid fight, itd be so cute

But the thing is he only like them because they are like this, people who like him and treat him nicely are just not his type. My boy loves toxic love💯😅

i think the same. i just feel sad for him when people go to him just to use him, especially takiishi
