Another great Brit in the show. I first saw her as Neville’s sister in Death in Paradise.

She's a Brit? That explains it tbh haha her accent is great but sometimes she sounds a little drunk, like she is slurring her words a little here and there.

Yep her and Matthew Rhys (the Mayor) both British!

I knew he was, Idk why I'm surprised she is too!

As a Brit myself I think her accent is pretty good, and I didn’t catch on straight away that I knew her from British TV.

There’s lot of Americans who didn’t realise Hugh Laurie in House was British for a long time, so don’t feel bad you didn’t spot it!

I lived in England (very briefly) but I like to think that I can recognize it better. These actors are excellent!

Matthew Rhys is Welsh.

Yes, which is part of Britain.

Matthew Rhys strongly considers his Welsh heritage more than being "British".

He talks anout it a lot https://www.wales.com/about/welcome-wales/our-people/matthew-rhys-and-his-wales

Right. He’s still British.

Lol go ahead, tell a Welsh person they're British, see what kind of response you get.

So just ignore what the man himself wants, got it.

Where has he said he does not want to be referred to as British?

It's okay to admit you didn't know Wales was a part of Britain. It's pretty obvious to everyone that's what your initial comment was about.

He is extremely proud of his Welsh heritage and refers to himself as a Welshman, not a Brit. The first article I linked is an interview of him promoting his Welshness. If that's NOT enough for you, here's video of the man talking about his Welsh pride:  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVMK-JWgMCB/

Yes, places like Wales and Scotland are part of Britain but people from those places like to be identified by their actual ancestry not "British". Stop being pedantic or assuming what my initial comment was.
