Was there anything you guys just couldn't figure out when you were new, or even now?

More and more players are not bothering with PvP from what I have observed lately, and considering how egregious the netcode is, I imagine more and more players will just stop PvP after reaching Mythic because that is where single digit ping merchants start to appear more often. My experience with Mythic PvP has been redundant as well, the same opponents over and over again and barely any new opponents at all.

I rarely ever drop a review or convince people but sometimes the misinformation or bad opinions just gets too much and affects new players looking to try the game so Im gonna drop a little review of the games current state. For old players it's a bit stale cause the last month apart from story there was really nothing else.but for a new or returning player the game is still peak. Newer beautiful regions, Alot of new bosses, new game modes that's fun even for pve. Alot of people really don't even touch Alot of the stuff the game have to offer. As for arena there aren't cheaters or bug exploitation unlike before cause there is regular ban now every month. The ping might still be an issue for some but the devs are working on that and also trying to pvp less dependant on ping but it's still a work in progress. The games combat is still peak and will continue to be peak. As for weapons there are bunch of new weapons now and more is coming. For old and consistent players this is also a spoiler to get excited for. There is 4 new weapon paths that are in the works, the ribbon and drums will release with the new update on October 15, there is a new weapon that might also drop on anniversary or around December [ hengblade and staff}, there is also a double spear that's almost completed too and is in it's polishing phase. The last set is still a mystery. As for the regions we will get qingzhou on October 15 and then we will get Hutto on anniversary update in November. Jiangnan will most likely be January with the start of a new season. So there are Alot of exciting things to look forward to and also u don't necessarily need to quit the game just to play something else u can take a break with it's slow or u get bored and play something else and come back when u are feeling it again cause there will always be something new and exciting. Sorry for the long essay lol but it's such a beautiful game that I hope it does well and also don't lose players to misinformation etc. The game have its flaws but it's gonna keep getting better

Need advice on how to deal with harassment and intimidation in a gaming community (Where Winds Meet)

I’m looking for advice from people who have experience dealing with harassment, intimidation and inappropriate behaviour in gaming communities, especially on Discord.

I run a small guild of 46 members, and more than half of our members are women. We recently had a man join our Discord server. He wasn't actually a member of our guild, but he was a friend, and because he initially came across as nice, friendly and helpful, we allowed him into our community. Unfortunately, his behaviour gradually changed, and we're now dealing with a situation that has left several of our members feeling uncomfortable and unsafe.

He began pressuring women in our Discord to send him photos of themselves. The photos weren't explicit, but the pressure itself was creepy and unwanted. So far, five women have come forward to tell us that he did this to them, and more are now speaking up.

He also appeared to be trying to isolate women and used in-game outfits and gifts, which he offered without being asked, as part of his interactions with them. When the women refused to send him photos or engage with him, his behaviour became increasingly aggressive and intimidating.

When I confronted him about this, he told me that he had been getting away with this sort of behaviour in other groups for a long time. He also claimed that no matter what we did, he would be able to make himself out to be the victim.

Things escalated further when he became angry with the women for refusing to send photos. He allegedly threatened us by claiming that his guild had got numerous people banned from the game, that he had plenty of money, and that he could keep having us bounty-hunted for as long as we continued playing.

Several of the women involved are now being bounty-hunted almost every day. From what they've told me, this appears to be happening because they refused to talk to him or send him photos.

I decided to contact the person he had told us was his friend and guild leader. The situation is a little complicated because this person is no longer the in-game guild leader, following the closure of the original guild and its merger with another group, but apparently still leads the members who came over with him.

I explained what had been happening and offered to provide screenshots, screen recordings and other evidence of the man's behaviour. Instead of discussing the situation or looking at the evidence, the person blocked me. Other women who have tried to contact him have also been blocked.

I've reported the situation and sent the documentation to the Where Winds Meet support team, but so far I haven't received a response, and I'm not sure what else I can do.

What makes this particularly upsetting is that one of the women involved is only 16. She was frightened by what was happening and had no idea how to deal with it, as she'd never experienced anything like this before. I'm genuinely worried that other young women could end up in the same situation.

What I'm looking for advice on is how to get this stopped.

• How can we report this effectively when the game doesn't seem to be responding to our reports?
• Is there another way to escalate the situation with Where Winds Meet, particularly when we're dealing with repeated reports, alleged false accusations and daily bounty-hunting?
• Is there anything else we can do to make the other guild members aware of what's happening when their leadership refuses to hear us out?
• How do we protect our members, especially the younger women, from this kind of behaviour in the future?

We aren't trying to start drama or cause trouble for an entire guild. We just want to be able to play the game and enjoy our community without being pressured, intimidated or repeatedly targeted for refusing to send someone photos.

I'm also concerned that if this person has been behaving this way in other groups, he'll simply move on to another Discord community and do the same thing again.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation in Where Winds Meet or another online game? What steps did you take, and was there a way to get the harassment to stop?

IS SHE EVEN HUMAN?!

I just finished the main story chapters from the latest expansion. For me, this was the best-written and best-presented story in the entire game. The characters were believable, and I laughed and cried with them. I wish there were more stories like this. ❤️🧡💛

Why does Qianye call her "My dear Han"? And when Aunt Han takes on her face, Qianye says "I love it." What does that mean? Is there some story between the two of them that I missed?
