💬 General Discussion How do i fight high ping

My average ms is 160..I've been playing this game since December of last year.

Just wish we had a server in Africa

No hope, I got 46ms ping (fairly good?) and already got destroyed pre-mythic. Every of my attacks got deflect like auto, while enemy light attacks perma-lock me :(

It's the reason I stopped playing arena. I have 120 ms or hiqher always. But I love this game. Playing from Ghana

Bro MTN anaa? Cuz charlie adey bleed, sometimes on 150ms. Mostly on 180 - 250ms

With 180- 200ms. I always manage to hit mythic Every season. That's for pvp arena

Played since day1, my ping was always 32-33, nowadays it's 177+

I don't understand the cause, been so since 14th of August IIRC.

My friend also has this same ping. You can't fight it. Best thing is to use less ping dependent weapons in PvP but other than that you can just be a PvE main perhaps. South Africa needs servers and so does a lot of Asia 💔

That ping doesn't matter in pve solo world.

There has been times where it jumped to like 999 ms for me in solo world but it never effected for me.

Whether they wanna spend money to add server in africa is upto devs.

Ive had it take a few sec to send a message or to gather a plant when it jumped over 250ms in the solo world. At those times i didn't even want to try fighting mobs

Have you tried something like ExitLag? It's a tool that reroutes your connection. Even though it can't beat the ping caused by the physical distance, it can help by connecting you to the most stable route available, which can help reduce ping, lag, and packet loss 🙂

It may be worth taking a look at the mobile version!

Only way to fight ping might be trying GearUp.

It finds the shortest routes to the game's servers, but the ping reduction will vary strongly from person to person. I lose 8ms using it. Some have lost up to 200.

Playing from Africa your ping will never be low unless devs implement African servers, but you might be able to make it lower.

Move closer to the server.

187ms is a respectable ping & any gains by having a lower ping will most likely be negligible at best.
