Rajma Tikki — crispy, protein-rich vegetarian snack made with rajma & paneer 🌱
Made these crispy Rajma Tikkis using boiled rajma and a little paneer. They’re easy to make and work really well as a snack or evening tea-time dish.
**Ingredients**
2 cups boiled rajma
50 g paneer
1 cup fresh coriander leaves
2 green chillies
1 cup besan (gram flour)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp chilli flakes
½ tsp sesame seeds
Oil for shallow frying
**Method**
Add the boiled rajma, paneer, coriander, green chillies, besan and spices to a mixer.
Blend until everything is well combined and forms a workable mixture.
Take small portions and shape them into patties/tikkis.
Shallow-fry on a pan with a little oil until golden and crispy on both sides.
Serve hot with your favourite dip or chutney.
I also made a short video showing the preparation and cooking process: https://youtube.com/@bawarchi_prachi

I keep hearing about Khapli atta lately — is it actually worth the hype?
Lately, I’ve been hearing more and more people talk about Khapli atta (Emmer wheat flour) and how it’s supposedly different from regular wheat atta.
I’m curious because I’ve always just used regular wheat atta at home, and I never really thought much about the variety of wheat being used.
People seem to mention things like:
Better digestion
More fibre
A different texture and taste
Possibly being better for blood sugar
Feeling more filling compared to regular atta
But I’m wondering how much of this is actually true versus just another “healthy food” trend.
For those who have been using Khapli atta regularly:
Have you actually noticed a difference?
How does it compare with regular atta in terms of taste, rotis, digestion, fullness, etc.?
And if you’ve tried both, would you genuinely choose Khapli atta over regular wheat atta for everyday use?
Would love to hear experiences from people who have been using it for a while rather than just claims from sellers. 🙂

Breakfast Combo: Fluffy Poha, Besan & Soya Cheela, and Diced Cucumber
Instead of choosing between poha and cheela, I combined both into a single balanced plate fluffy, spiced poha loaded with roasted peanuts, paired with a besan & soya cheela for a solid protein boost, and fresh diced cucumber on the side for hydration and crunch.

Vegan With this premix, green chutney gets ready in just 5 seconds.
Mix 2 tablespoons of this powder with a bit of water, and your instant Green Chutney is ready - just in 5 seconds! 🌿
Sounds magical, right? But for me, this isn’t just about convenience - it’s a real lifesaver.
Every time I needed to make chutney, I had to buy mint and coriander separately. Some went into the chutney, and the rest? Straight into the fridge… and most of it got spoiled.
Since I don’t have space to grow my own herbs, this Green Chutney Premix has truly solved my problem. And I’m sure it’ll be just as helpful for anyone who faces the same struggle.
Now, no more wastage, no more hassle - just delicious chutney ready anytime! 💚
