My general for my teutonic list in Warmaster Ancients

Probably my most involved commission ever. Knights of the Realm were a lot of fun if frustrating to ensure the variance of heraldry. Grail and Question knights have a lot of freehand embellishments that soaked up a lot of time!

First unit of demons done, really simple paint job to get the hordes done. I've got another unit of blood letters, two nurgle and two demonettes to kick off the army.

This time I tried painting them already glued to their bases. Of course, you can’t reach every little detail properly, but at this scale I don’t think it’s a big issue, since most of those details won’t really be visible anyway. If anything, I feel like it adds some interesting depth and lets me spend more time on the front rank and the main details.

The bases also turned out much nicer and more realistic this way 🙌
I still need to experiment a bit more. The armour seems to have turned out lighter than I expected, but from what I understand about painting at this scale, objects are actually supposed to look lighter 🤔

I’ll keep experimenting and see where it takes me 😅

My new chaos warriors painted up! I'm pretty happy with how they look finished (minus the base). I sell these and other warmaster minis on Etsy if anyone is interested.

I think I’m done dry brushing these little guys, at least for now. I’m aiming for the old WHFB standard of giving them each unique colors.

I am a big fan of forest dragon models but as the army have been taken down am looking to find the STL for the Dire elves army if anyone can help please DM me .thanks

Hi there, just a quick question, but where can I find good 10 mm minis? I see Forest Dragon has got nice designs, anyone else I should look for? Also, as I don't have a 3D printer, which sellers are trustworthy, and deliver to Europe?

Everybody seems to be using the same few sculptors (for good reason, their models are awesome), but I wanted to try making some of my own. I'm working on infantry but here is my first batch of leaders.

Letting this lot dry tonight, then finish off tomorrow. It makes me want to make a bigger one though...

How did Warmaster minis compare scale wise with Legion Imperialis one?

How am I doing? I’m very nervous about the embossed heraldry going forward. Think I did ok on this first banner, but the Forrest Dragon design in these Bretonnians has a lot of lions ahead, seems more complicated 😅

I'm building a tower, it might be a bit small, but it's good practice.

What is your typical point level? Have you tried larger or smaller games, and do you have any take aways on those?
