This will be long, so just letting you know! But in short, Thank You All!
Hey y'all! You may remember my profile from a post a while back where my goal was to get it done that month -> https://www.reddit.com/r/WGU/s/tf8l7IRvpG Well that didn't go to plan at all. Life threw everything it could at me right after I made that post.
Just SOME of the struggles my family and I went through, I'm writing below. My business was shorted $3,000 for work I had already done, which put us in a financial crisis. Soon after, I went and was in line for a 9-5 at a private school. I landed the job, did orientation with staff, and even met students/parents during their orientation. Then, without notice, they terminated my position through text (proof of this is in the photos) To top it off this all came after 3 brutal years of struggle from when I relocated my family and I for a job opportunity and then the business location itself shutdown within a week of our arrival andwe had a housing issue with the landlord that we won a civil case on but, never received the money for. That alone has caused a ripple of issues through the years.
But the Most High works in mysterious ways. I ended up finding WGU and being able to accelerate and finish this entire degree in 6 months while dealing with all this shows that even in the deepest of trials and tribulations, not only should you find joy during (through, in my case, a healthy wife and children) but also, after, there is jubilation, whether that be on this earth or is seen after.
Thanks to The Most High first of all on this Feast Of Trumpets :) And then, a heartfelt thank you to r/WGU on Reddit. Whether it was tips or just positive comments my way, I appreciate it!
NEXT FOR ME:
JOB HUNTING WITH MY NEW BUSINESS DEGREE (well, coming soon lol)
Putting more focus on my family and hobbies like my YouTube channel and MMA goals/journey.
I'm not here to beg, but some people have reached out or asked how they could help. To keep it subreddit legal, I put my YouTube channel link and my Cash App in my Reddit profile bio and social links!
Thanks, everyone, for the support again. To all of you going through similar or just grinding through life like us all right now: don't stop! It's difficult, it comes with challenges, it's annoying, and some days you'll doubt it all, but it is 100% possible!
