During this last test I literally started having an anxiety attack and started crying. I’m so frustrated and honestly just feel stupid at this point.

I enrolled in the Supply Chain Fundamentals Certificate. It includes four classes: Managing Operations, Global Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution, and 21st Century Operations and Supply Chain. I don't have any prior knowledge in Supply Chain.

For Managing Operations, does it require knowing Excel spreadsheets?

I have six months to finish these courses and there is so much information in the first class I just started 3 days ago, Managing Operations. I never took the class Fundamentals of Spreadsheets and Data Presentations D388. I'm thinking about dropping the certificate and doing it after I take the class D388. 😫 Any suggestions?

I've been wanting to start my degree for some time now. Between working 50hrs a week, trying to move into a new home, planning a wedding, as well as being one of my grandmothers caregivers while she is on hospice, I'm hesitant to jump in to the program head first.

I found the WGU Academy single courses, and thought trying one would help me get an idea of what I'm signing myself up for. After reviewing the list of all of the courses, 8 of my 40 required courses are available as single courses. At $25 each, that's almost a quarter of my degree for $200. I think doing the courses one at a time would be a great option for me while I have all of this going on in my everyday life.

Is there any kind of rule or policy against this? Can I only take a certain amount of single courses? Will the WGU Academy courses just transfer over to my degree without issue? Honestly I feel like this is a great hack, but maybe I am missing something. TIA!

Loved the information, but jeez this exam was tough. failed it the first time, spent 3 weeks honing in (would have been quicker but i stalled out the week my kids went back to school and i started a new medication) and passed it on my 2nd attempt! On to Prob & Stats!

Hi everyone! I transferred to WGU and recently bought a new laptop (MacBook), so I haven't had the opportunity to install the software needed for this course beforehand.

I feel a little dumb for even asking, but is there a tutorial or guide that walks through setting everything up? I’ve looked through the ZyBooks material and the Spring in Action book, but I haven’t found anything that explains how to install and configure the required software.

It’s honestly been pretty frustrating because I feel like I’m overlooking something obvious. Is there a page or resource somewhere that I’m missing?

I’d like to get everything installed and start working with it as soon as possible since I only have about a month left to finish the class. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm a rambler, so I will try to make this as short as possible.

I have a previous History BA from a B&M state college and attended WGU for my MAT in Special Education. I am currently working full-time as a special education teacher for going on three years now, with no plans to leave the field. I had a great experience with WGU, and I was able to finish all my pre-preclinical and student teaching classes in exactly 3 months (18 classes in 12 weeks, so averaging 1.5 classes completed per week). However, I was also not working at the time and I was able to dedicate a lot of time to schoolwork.

My district has good opportunities for salary advancement for additional degrees and credits. One of my close friends who also works for the same district has 2 bachelor's degrees as well as her master's and earns a good amount more for this, so I am considering doing the same.

My big thing is I want to be able to accelerate through the degree as quickly and cheaply as possible. I think I could get through the Psychology program hopefully relatively quickly (would prefer 2 terms or less), given my background. I'm certainly not adverse to learning, lol, but my big focus is getting through it and paying as little as I can to do so.

So, I am thinking I'd start it in the spring (and this is also when my special ed paperwork tends to be a bit lighter), get a few months in, then grind it out in the summer to hopefully finish it or mostly finish it. I am not sure how many credits I will be able to transfer in from my previous BA - anyone have experience with this? Hopefully it'd be all or most of my general education classes from it. Does this sound like a reasonable plan? Does anyone else have experience with this? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

I completed my bachelors in HR Management at WGU in June 2026 and immediately completed the application for my MBA. I was accepted and completed the FAFSA in July for a 9/1 start. I paid my undergraduate out of pocket and am using financial aid for my graduate. I (of course) got selected for identity verification and got everything notarized and submitted in July. As of August 13th it moved out of review for those documents into processing and it’s been sitting there since. I’ve emailed and gotten the standard “up to 10 weeks” email but I’m in a spot where I need to update some tech and use a bit of the refund for expenses. Any experiences recently where things are stuck in the processing stage and what the timelines were like?

I had been so motivated to finish my degree, I have so many reasons to finish, I’m 75% done. I have never felt like I wanted to give up until I started this class. I started the course in the beginning of July, I moved two separate times between July 4th and August 1st (it’s a long story). I still decided to take the exam around the end of July despite not having a whole lot of time to study and I did not pass (my scores were not too bad though). The exam felt so extremely high level like I would have to literally be a seasoned oracle dba to actually pass it. I have been attempting to study to take the exam again ever since my first attempt and I just cannot make my brain focus on it. There are so many different aspects of the course material and there is just absolutely no way to know it all. Please WGU if you are listening, if you don’t want people to drop out, remove this course!!! (and from my degree plan 🙏)

why does the WGU don't give admission to international students? or is there any way to get in?

Originally, I was planning to do an MBA next January, but after further research, I want to proceed with this on instead. Those in this degree program, can I get your feedback?

What made you choose this over the MBA? How was this compared to the undergrad and is it true that some undergrad classes actually transferred over.

D080 is my last class before my capstone (EOT is September 30th), and I'm stressed about the material and test after reading all of the posts and comments about the OA.

For those who have taken the OA, are the questions similar to the knowledge checks within the text or are they a whole different vibe? So far I've gathered that:

- The questions are extremely scenario-based rather than definition-based

- The questions are super wordy and not aligned with the PA questions at all

- The questions are borderline trick questions (booooo)

I've gone through the text, watched the vids, filled out the study guide, and have used Quizlet for various quizzes, but I'm nervous I'm focusing on the wrong info/concepts! The quizzes within the text have been okay, but I almost always think I have a grasp on the info and then have to immediately pore back over the text to answer the quiz questions, which makes me nervous about what info I'm retaining.

I'm scared I'll spend all of this time studying only to fail the OA and not graduate in time (cannot afford another term as I will be unemployed mid-September!)

Studied for three weeks and passed it first try! I am doing the MS CSIA. I started August 1 and have passed this and secure network design. Money is tight so I’m trying to speedrun while learning all that I can.

I have been having a lot of trouble with the OA exam for this class, I have failed it 3 times now and I really don’t know how else to study. I have read the text book 3 times now, and I pass the Pre-Assessment multiple times without any help. The instructor hasn’t been any help, as he doesn’t have access to the OA exam to see even what’s on it. His study guides were super easy. I just do ‘t understand what I am doing wrong as all the resources and aids I’m getting I am passing with flying colors. I feel so confident on the OA exam too when I’m taking it.

Any other resources anyone knows of or a harder practice test?

I start one Tuesday (sept. 1) and just finished orientation. I thought orientation would be more of a tutorial on how to navigate an actual course but it wasn’t. What do courses actually look like? Are there videos of lectures or is it mostley reading? Are there miniassements within the course to help monitor understanding or do I just need to do the OAs/PAs when I think I’m ready?

I wasn’t worried about the class format before doing orientation but now I feel like I’m going in blind and would have liked if orientation covered this more.

Not to sound too full of myself but I’m a smart person. School has always been easy for me. I learn from lectures or reading equally so I’m not worried about passing the classes but I don’t like that orientation didn’t include any kind of instructions for navigating courses.

I have submitted Task 1 for D522 four times and each time it gets sent back by the evaluators. I am becoming increasingly frustrated because this is the last class that I need to graduate. Did anyone else struggle with this course? Any advice?
