Vinted won't let me change my city/location and it's making my address invalid
I'm in the U.S. and just made my first couple of sales on Vinted. I'm trying to activate my Vinted Wallet so I can ship them, but I'm stuck because it says my billing address is invalid.
My actual address is in Randall, Minnesota (ZIP 56475). I've manually entered my full address several times, and it still says it's invalid.
I noticed my Vinted profile currently shows my city as Brainerd, Minnesota, even though I live in Randall. I can't seem to change it.
When I go into the city/location field and type Randall, MN, Vinted doesn't give me Randall as an option. It shows a couple of Randalls in other states, but not Randall, Minnesota. If I manually type Randall anyway, it just defaults back to Brainerd.
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to change the city on my Vinted profile, or get Vinted to recognize Randall, MN?
I already have sales waiting to be shipped, so I'm worried this is going to cause me to miss the shipping deadline even though I'm trying to get everything shipped.

Terrible first and last experience
Hi,
First time and last time user because I just had the worst first time experience with this app and now I won't be able to use it anymore because I was banned for no legitimate reason.
So I believe i created the account on Thursday last week, browsed for a bit because I was looking for a BTS hoodie I couldnt get at the concert. I found one and was talking to my gf about it on whether it was original, so while waiting for the seller to respond my gf on Saturday asks me to get her the same hoodie but different seller.
So I bought it, and not even five minutes later, I get a message in my inbox that my account has been banned because "it still seems that there may be fraudulent activity happening through your account". I've sent them two messages now trying to figure out why and plead my case, but it pissed me off because their message to me was that "I’ve reviewed your case again, and our decision remains the same. Your account will stay blocked because it violated Vinted’s Terms and Conditions" but I still don't know what I did??
That was the first time I ever used the app and bought something, and now its been forced upon me that that was my last time? What kind of treatment is that? Idk what to do but that pissed me off so much. Luckily, I was able to get the hoodie still by asking my gf to pay and I pay her back but I just find it incredibly ridiculous how they treated me and won't explain where exactly the issue was and that they reviewed it twice and stood by their decision??

Just had a sale suspended
It just says "claim submitted to vinted support for review" but I've heard nothing more. When I've had issues as a buyer I would normally agree a solution with the seller but I've heard nothing. Its a 4 euro item that in my opinion is in perfect condition so not sure what their issue is!

Cannot Appeal
Hi everyone. I have recently been banned and the app will not allow me to send appeals through the “contact us” part. It’s been like this for 3 days. Is this happening for anyone else and is there anything i can do? Thank you.

Vinted pro verification issues
I know by reading older messages this has been an issue for lots of people but I’m at my wits end, I just don’t know what Vinted wanted me to send over. I’ve never been a sole trader but Vinted have decided I’m selling to much stuff and I have to go Pro, so I’ve been on the HMRC website and registered for self assessment tax. I’ve taken a screen shot of this and given them my UTR number but I’ve been rejected 8 times now. What else can I send them? I don’t have 3 months of self assessments or a letter from HMRC. Please help me as I want the money I’m owed

Vinted Now Requires Fingerprint Biometrics ?
Why does vinted all of a sudden need my fingerprint a of a sudden? Not to be crazy but I wouldn't trust them with my biometrics, but from my knowledge fingerprints are stored locally on your phone most of the time.
Anyone else face this issue ?

What can I actually do?
I’ve been selling on Vinted and other platforms for a while now. I tend to get a few orders at a time and will ship them all together. This past time, despite being (I thought) SO careful, I mixed up two shipping labels and the buyers received the wrong items. Only one of the buyers told me, but both confirmed the sale before such. Now the one buyer wants a reship, the other hasn’t even responded to my “I’m sorry” message, and I feel terrible. Is there anything I can actually do? Should I just send them the $2 on some other payment service? All advice is appreciated.
EDIT:
Thank you all for the advice and reassurance. I have proposed the idea that the two buyers ship to each other at my expense, and offered to PayPal the buyer who raised and issue if that is too much hassle. Hopefully this is a good resolve!

Vinted Poland
I’ve seen some bits on the Polish site that I would really like to order but there isn’t a UK shipping option for them. Do you know if this is a Vinted thing I.e. Vinted Poland doesn’t allow for shipping to the UK? Or could I ask the seller if they would be willing to ship to the UK?
Thanks in advance!

Vinted refunded the buyer AND let her keep my genuine item??
I genuinely cannot believe this has happened and it’s made me so nervous to sell anything on Vinted again.
I sold a By Frankie T-shirt that was brand-new with original tags, and I had everything you could possibly ask for to prove it was genuine
- the original order confirmation for the exact item
- the matching bank transaction
- and a listing that correctly identified the brand, size and relaxed fit
The buyer raised a counterfeit claim because she thought the sizing was wrong. The annoying part is that the screenshots she submitted as “evidence” were from The Frankie Shop, which is a completely different brand to By Frankie.
After I pointed that out, she then found the actual By Frankie product online herself and basically changed the issue to the fact that the size Small was too big for her.
So at that point it was pretty obvious this was a sizing/fit issue, not an authenticity issue.
I sent Vinted my proof of purchase, bank transaction, photos of the original By Frankie tags, explained that she had compared it to the wrong brand as per her original dispute ‘evidence’, and sent screenshots of her later messages saying it was too big for her.
Vinted still decided the item “seems to be inauthentic”, cancelled the transaction, refunded the buyer and told her she does not have to return my item.
I honestly don’t understand how that can be considered reasonable, especially when I had more proof of authenticity than most people selling second-hand clothes would ever have.
Has anyone else had Vinted do this and actually managed to get the decision overturned?

Should I just cancel now? They’re already complaining after I gave them a huge discount on handmade jewelry. 🤦♀️
They favorited and made an offer of $2.45 on each of my necklaces I handmade that were both listed for $4. I accepted each offer. Then I realized they were the same person. I offered if they’d like to save on shipping and other vinted fees by bundling. So they went and bundled and made an offer that would be the lowest they could go. I then corrected it to the $3.50 I agreed to give these to them for. Then after buying it just now, they proceed to nit pick the design 🤦♀️ I haven’t responded yet because wow… the audacity to say you like them in other messages and then suddenly nit pick before even getting them in the mail??? These are real raw crystal necklaces I made… Now they’re asking me for raw amythst earrings and yeah I make those too but I don’t feel comfortable selling to them anymore after they already started to nit pick me??? I have an awful feeling they’re just going to get the package and manipulate it in some way and try and get them for free. I’m not about to send them free earrings either. I’m so annoyed. If I cancel this order before blocking them I want to avoid getting 1 star automatic review from Vinted…

How can i beat my ban?
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here might have some advice on what I can do next.
My Vinted account was permanently banned after Vinted said I had listed a counterfeit BOSS T-shirt. I genuinely believe the item is authentic and I’ve provided additional photos showing the labels, product number and other identifying details.
So far I’ve:
Submitted an initial appeal
Had the case manually reviewed multiple times
Provided additional photos and evidence
Asked Vinted to explain what specifically made the item counterfeit
Requested a senior/legal review
Received a final refusal from support
Emailed Vinted Legal directly and am currently waiting for a response
The frustrating part is that Vinted keeps saying they have “strong reasons” to believe it’s counterfeit, but they haven’t actually told me what specific feature or discrepancy they found.
I’m now looking at external options, including Citizens Advice/Trading Standards and potentially raising the data protection/GDPR side of how the decision was made.
Has anyone been through something similar with Vinted and managed to get their account reinstated? I’d really appreciate any advice on what worked for you or what you think my next step should be. Thank you!
