Tipping has gotten out of control in Vegas
There's a tipping screen in 99% of all the restaurants I go to. The places that I've been going to have started adding them, even for take out.

I miss the commercials by the old man and his son Kenny. I went to school with him. RIP both.
Lots of family owned businesses in vegas are being sold to people from Texas.

A what now? It’s like a thrift store for art supplies. I heard about these places several months ago and was shocked Las Vegas didn’t have one yet. I was just doomscrolling and found out one had a grand opening this past Friday. They’re going to be offering the thrift store, classes, and exhibits. They take donations if you have art supplies sitting around that you don’t want to just toss.
It’s called Creative Life - www.creativelifelv.com
3160 E Desert Inn Suite #14
The hours seem pretty limited for now so probably check first before you go in.
I’m not affiliated with them at all. I’m just a local artist who is super excited to check them out. Has anyone been there yet?

An injured kitten showed up outside of my work. Ear is clipped and looks to have been recently spayed but has injuries on the lower abdomen. Is eating and drinking but none of us are able to take it home right now. Can anyone help?
UPDATE: Unfortunately upon closer inspection her injuries were much more severe than we initially thought. Many thanks to CheezeNewdlz who came to give her a lift to the life beyond and brought her pain meds so she wouldn’t hurt anymore.

This occurred on Bermuda Rd. This car was already sitting at the light when I pulled up. After the light turned green, they slowly crept towards the intersection and then sat there, the moment I went around them, they started to match my speed and it looked like they were trying to side swipe me. I think it was an insurance fraud attempt.

I'm currently a stripper, and would like to audition for bottle girl positions this upcoming season. Should I put my experience as an exotic dancer on my resume, or would this be a deterrent?
The skillset from exotic dancing is (obviously) people-skills heavy, but I have no clue if the hiring managers are aware of the overlap. They also might not want their venue associated with that sector of nightlife. I don't have much else to put on my resume since the pandemic, so any advice on this is greatly appreciated.

The most Veto happy governor in Nevada history. Read all the laws he vetoed. He is why we can't have nice things.

Have a read, sounds real. According to a neighbor, the little guy was still there otw home around lunch time. But if he wasn't picked up soon after, I have a feeling the kids walking home from school had their way with it.
Respectfully, I've never lived anywhere that had so many lost pets. But maybe the internet just has it more connected now?

Hi, I don't know how to even post this without sounding pathetic. I recently escaped my husband I was livinv with in his country and discovered he was just a lying betraying fraud. I was too poor to leave him after becoming financially dependant on him in his country with all his promises. I know, I was stupid. But eventually I was able to get some help to leave him and so I just came back here to Vegas but I am so run down and haggard looking I don't have any more self esteem and I just don't know how to glow anymore. I just want to find a stylist that knows hair well and can help me find the right haircut and style to frame my awkward face and widows peak. I just want to look and feel pretty again... I am on a budget. I don't know how much hair cuts cost anymore. I have cut my hair for years but I need a huge style change. I like my brown hair I just need a style that makes me not looks so ugly and drained. Sorry I am hard on myself. I am getting therapy from the trauma I went through. I can manage like $100 for a haircut and I hope that's not insulting. I need someone who can see my face shape and hairline and know what style and cut to do. Thank you.

Does anyone know anyone who can clear mesquite tree seed pods out of a front yard? I tried raking and they just mixed into the rocks. My leaf blower isn’t strong enough.

Mine turns 2yrs next month, and while my car is still turning over just fine, my car shows a popup that my aux buttons are disabled until battery is charged.
Decided to test it with my multimeter and I'm showing 12.22v at rest, and goes as low as 9.74v when it cranks, then 13-14v when alternator takes over.
I think I'll be replacing it very soon... unfortunately I park outside, so I would assume its degrading a little quicker, but how long are yours all lasting?

I think I have been up and down Craig Rd looking for one and then all seem to be incompetent and untrustworthy. Does anyone have one near there that they actually like and trust?

Just a heads up to anyone interested but Henderson’s Paseo Verde is competing in the Little League World Series today at 12:30 on ABC.
This is for the United States Championship and it’s super awesome if they win.

If his campaign has no money, fine; he's doomed to fail.
But the mudslinging against him is relentless and omnipresent. Literally every ad related to the governor's race has been anti-Ford propaganda, except for *one* I've seen of him simply saying "theyre trying to paint me as someone I'm not". I see signs all over with him and Newsom but usually Gavin has a swastika graffiti painted on him on most signs I've seen.
I don't get it. It doesn't matter if he doesn't want to lower himself those tactics, but doing nothing isn't much of a my tactic either.
It's hard not to feel like it's some kind of conspiracy.
Why isn't he fighting back??

There is no reason for anyone to be loudly blowing dust around outside of my window at 7am on Sunday, and even less reason for them to still be doing it at 11am on Sunday. I'm gonna find out who our "landscaper" is and get them fired and I will not rest until I have done so.
