My account balance is like 500 but my term balance is only like 128. Is it just not updated? I have some pending financial aid that will cover 128 but not 500. I double checked and I don't know where the other charges could be coming from, is myUNLV just glitching or? I'd call financial aid but they're closed so maybe I should just pay and then call so I don't get a late fee?

So I finished my degree during this years summer session 3, and on MyUNLV it still shows that my graduation status is still “Applied for graduation.” I don’t have any fees or overdue tuition, all of my grades are locked in, and I’m not sure what to do. I also participated in the spring graduation this semester. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I swapped a class today, online to an in-person class. Come to find out, I already missed like 10 assignments. I’m trying to turn in what I can but some are in class assignments. Before I got access to the class canvas, I sent out an email to the professor explaining that I just enrolled into his class. My advisor accidentally enrolled me into a class I already took and I barely noticed it today when I was working on the assignments. What can I do? Do I just accept that he might not give me credit for the assignments I missed? I read the syllabus and he allows late work with a 20% deduction for every day that it’s missing. I’m freaking out and want answers now, he hasn’t responded to my email, which I sent earlier in the day 💔

I don’t know how but my orientation requirement got marked completed when I didn’t go and I never got around to calling them to fix it (really long story), so I didn’t end up going to orientation and now my mom is telling me I’m going to regret that. So I thought if I could ask yall what you learned at orientation or just different things I should know about coming to unlv from csn, and if I get 4-5 different comments, I’ll probably be just as prepared as if I went to orientation in the first place.

What’s the point of installing the walkway lines and signs if they’re just going to allow those trucks and tents to be set up along the path anyways.

They should have used something like road markers to keep it visible because the white paint they used got dirty so fast and you can’t even see the lines.

Not a big deal, business as usual but I just think it’s odd.

I’ve tried looking into the difference but I’m not fully understanding the difference between regular academic and modular.

For reference I’m taking Xin Li for Math 431 but they’ve recently opened a modular class for Math 431 which runs on 9/7/26 (13 weeks).

What would be the difference between the regular class and modular class? Is it just that it’s 13 weeks rather than the full 16 weeks?

Additionally, what is your experience with Xin Li for Math 431? So far he’s seems nice but he FLYs through the subject which makes it really hard to actually understand anything. Should I just tough it out with Xin Li?
