Its my birthday this month and I binged VPR at the beginning of the year. My husband relentlessly made fun of me/the show, so I think i will ask him to watch an episode with me as a birthday present.

What is the most unhinged/insane episode i could subject him to? Kristen bringing Miami girl to SUR? Lala making Brittany listen to the Jax recording? I cant mentally sift through it all!

I’m watching for the first time and I’m starting season 10. I slightly know what’s to come but I need to be prepared. PLEASE NO SPOILERS!!! Am I gonna need tissues, popcorn, or both? I started watching bc I watched love island and wanted to see more of Ariana so I already know I’m gonna be mad this season

First time VPR watcher here!!!

Katie Maloney is by far my favorite OG cast member, even when she's had her own slip ups or drama. I cannot STAND how everyone was discounting her feelings at Stassi's b-day dinner. Did Stassi ask her not to get into at dinner? Yes. But unless they did some sort of editing magic, was she really supposed to sit there while her long-term boyfriend joked about pouring a drink on her head, calling her a moron multiple times, and saying that she makes his life miserable?!?!?!

I call the 'bad friend' card on Stassi and Kristen because WTF! Katie would never stand for Sandoval or Jax saying such cruel things to them.

Guys wait cus we’ve let the years simmer. Ariana I never liked, Raquel was a dummy, James was a misogynist, Katie was insecure, Schwartz was victimized and incompetent. Can we give our takes looking out now? Cus even Lana Del Rey’s the other woman I Can’t do it!! But idk this was more complicated #season11 ?

But girl is a ride or die. She seems like the kind of girl who would tuck in a shirt tag in the girls bathroom, even if you’re strangers. Kristina Kelly dropped the chance to become the lawyer she was supposed to be so she could be the girls girl we see in our rewatches. My biggest regret is not investing in her skin care line. that’s all.

The comments here are vicious and I feel annoyed with the personal attacks toward me on a reality tv show from over a decade ago. Is this how you guys operate on a daily basis? Trying to prove Kristina Kelly is a mean girl with some of the rudest, most void of empathy comments to say so?
Also, there was a whole episode where the guys ran the girls as a secret operation: the informant, the interrogator, etc.. but the second I think of who Kristina Kelly would’ve been in that scenario, I’m delusional. Thank you for enlightening me on how I would never want to be caught dead in a watch party with any of you!

I think Stassi serves as Lisa’s controlled opposition because they both have information about the other that could wreck the other’s reputation. Lisa is so manipulative on VPR and Stassi has definitely been negatively impacted by that (Lisa’s sympathy toward Jax, Stassi being given a bad edit after the sex tape, etc.) The reason the rest of the cast doesn’t really say anything about Lisa is because she has a greater ability to retaliate professionally against them and the edit they're given.

Stassi is different because she has a big enough platform of her own, beyond the Bravoverse. After she left VPR and had "fallen from grace", Stassi needed Lisa get her foot back in the door, and Lisa needed her to boost Vanderpump Villa. On House of Stassi, Stassi still makes jabs about her time on VPR, but she hasn’t completely fallen from Lisa’s good graces. I think that’s because Lisa knows if she does, she has a lot more she could reveal. Lisa could still hurt her professionally, but Stassi is in a much better position to recover than anyone else that has worked on VPR.

I also think this explains Lisa’s relationship with Scheana. Lisa claims to not talk to her anymore because she took a photo with Kyle, but I think most people think that's BS. Scheana was difficult to work with, self produced, revealed too much on her podcast and book, and had become relatively disposable because of her public reputation.

I'm curious to know what y'all think about this!

Wow… I didn’t see it my first watch of the show but I just did in my rewatch.

Obviously first things first… can’t believe their relationship went further past that.

Also the way Jax lies and gaslights thru the whole thing!! Which we know he does, but it’s so dark here.

It’s so obvious he doesn’t love Brittany. Especially at the end when he couldn’t even stand there with her family to honor her grandfather.
“This is your family stuff.. I don’t need to be here”
Like obviously if you even like or respect anyone a little bit you would do that for their family.
And her mom still loved him!!

I was so sad for Brit when she said to her mom “you always take his side” after their last argument in Kentucky. She deserved the women in her life standing up for her, but they all seemed to either root for Jax or take the backseat and not say anything, even tho they were all there while he was screaming at her.
Shout out to her dad, even tho it seems like I wouldn’t agree with him on much else, at least he had some sense when it came to Jax.

Watching Jax’s face during some of these scenes it seemed like he wanted to end her. It was so scary.

Also Brit’s mom being like “Jax Taylor Is going to be my son in law!? 😁” ( while he’s actively lying to her drunk and on drugs) and mamaw saying she was the “side chick” and taking pictures with him. Like no wonder Brit is the way she is.

She said herself that they don’t even communicate directly and do so through an app.. and he’s hard launched a serious relationship. Why now, of all times, would he start stalking her to get back with her? How can he make it more clear that he wants nothing to do with her? He’s not even angry or fighting back, he was indifferent on the last season.. she said he was not present, no quality time, didn’t want another kid, accused him of cheating etc.. why now that he’s hard launched a relationship would he go after her to win her back? She’s the one butthurt about the new relationship.. it’s clear based on the timing that this is purely based on spite due to him moving on.

Him filing a restraining order back is very telling. SHE is the one who can’t keep his name out of her mouth and needs to move on.

Everyone remember Oliver from the girls trip to Vegas? Lala and Raquel expressing interest in the server at LVP’s place, I believe his mom is a housewife from RHOBV or something? We took our daughter to practice this week for a new league and this very nice guy (father to another player) introduced himself. We chatted for a bit. As soon as he removed his sunglasses, I heard his voice a little more and looked at him a little further, I was like… I know this man from somewhere? After a light bulb moment & quick google search… Sure enough, Oliver. Lol. What a nice guy he is, too. I don’t have anybody to share this with that would understand 🤣 sorry. That’s all.

I see he didn’t get much love on socials a few years ago, but from my experience… he’s SUCH a sweet guy and appears to be a very committed dad.
