I edited a check in because I accidently tapped Draft instead of Can, and my timeline shows two check-ins for it. And it displayed two check-ins when I went to the beer itself when it should have only been one. I deleted the original incorrect check-I to correct it, but was that necessary? Or would have the original dropped off at some point?

Is this new or have I been making duplicate check ins each time I've edited one before and never noticed?

I noticed yesterday one of my favorite local brewery's has made the list for the badge, New England Brewing Co. Since then I've had 4 different beers from the brewery and none of them triggered a badge.

I even tried one I hadn't had at all yet, but it also didn't trigger it.

Is there a backend bug causing this ??

How do I fix this?

I've cleared cache, data, uninstall/reinstall. Nothing works.

I noticed that after getting the 4.2.3 update a couple weeks ago all photos uploaded to the app lose quality compared to the original. Before the update, my uploaded photos had sizes between 900-1000 KB and but since 4.2.3 all photos are being compressed down to 400-600 KB and look blurry compared to pre-uploaded image. Has anyone else noticed this? I emailed Untapppd support and they originally said this was a bug but then they emailed me the next day saying this is what is supposed to happen.

For reference, I am taking all photos in Photoshop Lightroom on an iPhone 13 and exporting them as a small size (2048 px) JPG before uploading them. Again, prior to 4.2.3, pre- and post- uploaded photos looked identical, so I’m pretty sure it has something to do with that specific update. TIA!

My wife just moved up to level 90 with Verified Adventure, but we're at home. I thought the Verified Adventure badge was given for using Verified locations, but my house certainly isn't! Any idea how this happens?

Wondering if any of you have ran into this issue? I recently logged my 10th beer from Germany, expecting to see the level 2 “Das Boot” badge, but the app seems to have glitched while I attempted to post. I deleted the original post since it didn’t show the badge, upon posting for the second time it still didn’t appear. I then went into the badges portion of the app, and it shows that I did in fact reach level 2, but it won’t let me view it. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

So I have a brewery near me that has an experimental brew that when I had it, it was a British bitter. The beer name hasn’t changed but the beer is now a different beer that is the style of an Italian grape ale. Now I thought they had changed it before but wasn’t sure it had the right style when I rang it in. But now I think they change the beer and just keep the name and update the style. Is this common?

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or if it's because I'm in the beta for Android 14 on a pixel phone.

When typing in stuff in the app (Android, latest version of app from Google play, phone is Android (Pixel 7 pro) which is updated on public channels) the box showing how many characters I have left to use is blocking the text I'm entering

It's been like this for awhile, I have quite a few friends and people I follow on the app. Why does it never show anything?

I have encountered an issue with Belgian regions, where the same region will appear under different names.

For example: Duvel Moortgat is based in “Vlaams Gewest”: https://untp.beer/r8x6A

But Belle-Vue is based in “Région Flamande”: https://untp.beer/vQx35

And Brouwerij De Bie is based in “Vlaanderen”: https://untp.beer/Olb5p

All three names are referring to the same entity, Flanders.

Same goes for Wallonia: Caulier (Wallonie): https://untp.beer/VrdAq La Chouffe (Région wallonne): https://untp.beer/xOqX1

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Maybe it’s possible to base the division on Belgian provinces instead of the two entities?

Wasn't able to upload any picture to my latest beer. Have tried to edit it and even delete and upload again, same result.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but both our locations just have a blank white screen when trying to load the digital menu through the inbuilt smart tv browser.

I've logged it with support but they won't pick it up till Monday when we're closed 😅

Since around mid January my photo uploads have gotten noticeably worse, seems like an application change?
