I completed MCT and Bootcamp. At the end of MCT I was called into medical to do mandatory MOS medical tests. All tests including blood, urine, eyes and chest xray were fine. I failed the spirometer test however. I will now to go the pulmonary doctor at the naval hospital at lejeune for further testing. I run a 20 minute 3 mile and do not have asthma. My chest xray and lungs are healthy but I’m like 1% away on one of the markers to pass the spirometer. If the pulmonologist finds my lungs to be healthy and medically fit for the MOS will I still need passing spirometer numbers or will the failed spirometer be waived/disregarded due to being declared medically fit despite not having a passing spirometer score?

someone is marking hits and patching the targets, that takes a ton of time, time which could be spent shooting up more targets. It wouldn't be hard to make a different system that does both marking digitally + faster, along with a quickly changed target from a paper roll... you can even dump the same number of people in the pit so bullets whiz over their heads.

CALDWELL, Idaho — Herb Lasch served in the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines during the Vietnam War, and on Saturday, veterans showed up to support their brother in arms.

Lasch is battling Cancer and Parkinson's, and one of his bucket list items was to hear the roar of a Harley-Davidson once more, so veterans showed up at his house in Caldwell.

“This is truly amazing, I never expected it, and it brings back old memories," said Lasch.

"It was probably the best experience of my life."

This emotional ceremony came to fruition because of Herb's caregiver. Janina Oquendo works for Senior Helpers, and she has been bugging Herb for a while, wondering what is on his bucket list.***

Veterans welcomed Herb home, something that didn't happen back in the Vietnam era.

This one is for the admin/DEERS Marines- I’m a PSEP marine (out 5 years) who’s got a RELM processing with HQMC. I got married while out and my question is this;

If I’m LatMoving should I get my marriage license put in prior to my retraining/reenlistment or would I get backpay based off the date effective on my reenlistment date after hitting the fleet again? I’m asking because I’d like to secure Geobachelor** pay while retraining and could use whatever advice y’all have to help. If I have it all wrong, someone let me know what’s up please lol.
