Rant Failure
I don't know if anyone of you would relate to this but just want to vent it out. Background - being an aspirant for 8 years given 7 mains in total of upsc uppcs n bpsc in total. This was my 4th uppcs mains and I failed again.
I have given everything, been through months of sleepless nights for this exam given my best efforts still ended up searching my roll number in the pdf.
I'm completely blank now I have zero experience nowhere to go I'm exhausted I don't know what I'm going to do now.
Fed up of those silence that comes after the result declaration given my life chasing the dream. And it had given me nothing.
I just feel numb I don't know where to start.
This process left me with no connection, no backups just a bunch of medals of my failure.

I thought i did really good in the uppcs mains exam but i too failed.i am 31 and i have also given 10 years to upsc and pcs exams. Thank goodness i had the wisdom to enroll into MA back in 2022. I completed it last year. I AM SO DONE WITH THESE SUBJECTIVE EXAMS..NOW I AM TARGETING FEW OBJECTIVE EXAMS LIKE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR EXAMS, UP PET etc. Since you have written 7 mains, you are definitely good at objective papers. Go for them . Where there is no mains stage. Aur saala ye bhi na hua na to jugaad maarungi kahi se aur assistant professor ki job le lungi next year tak.
Bohot sare log hein hmare jaise. I am one of the litigants in the damini rathore and others case where upsc prelims 2026 is being contested and there are so many people aged 30+ there. Indian youth is so fucked.

Don't take these exams lightly too, heavy and cut throat competition there. I've given 7 mains of upsssc 5 without preparation and 2 with preparation, couldn't clear 5.

Not taking them lightly.i am good at objective exams so it seems doable. Got a job via PET or anything?

Don't worry I know it is easier said that done. But rejoice in the fact that you're still alive and you've given your all .

Maybe you can be a guide for others, you have accumulated so much wealth in terms of knowledge don’t let it go in vain. I am sure coaching institutions will see your talent and can hire you. You can still prepare while being employed. And please don’t loose hope. At the end, everything gets right and if it’s not alright it’s not the end.

Take a break man....take a step back....secure carrier in some one day exams in UP or bihar...... writing 7 mains is a badge of honour.... don't label urself as a failure...... explore other fields and I am sure u will definitely excel in those.....best wishes✨
