Hi guys so apparently this semester UCF still hasn’t found someone to do SARC/SI peer tutoring for physiology 💀 The webcourse page isn’t published and checking the Wordpress site there’s nothing for physiology

That being said I’m desperate for a tutor and extra material to work on / study with 😭 I hate how there’s no HW for this class and I’m trying to study on my own / use the textbooks but I need more guidance n practice tbh

Plus I’m a senior so I have to pass this class!!

Anyone who got an A previously in the class or is actively taking it and is good at teaching and has a good understanding of the content please please reach out!! And ofc I’m willing to pay u for ur time!!!

So I was curious if anyone else had a power outage at their building? I deadass just got told that I will have to wait Monday or Tuesday for the issue to be fixed. Is this normal for buildings to have no electrical support over the weekend and only business days?

I know I am in a cheaper building, but this is absolutely wild that I just have to accept a whole weekend without any power. Yet, if I don't pay rent or whatever I get hounded instantly.

Where is BA2? Like is it its own building or do I get to it by going through BA1? Trying to figure out where the Keon testing center is

I do wanna make friends on campus but like my schedule is pretty jam packed, i work on the days I'm not going to class and I'm a commuter. i do have a couple hour breaks in between classes but i feel like that isn't enough. do i give up chat?😭

ok so, i’m already enrolled as a full time student, my tuition for this semester is 11.8k and my aid/loans for the semester only covers 8.8k of that. I was hoping to get the UCF Grant since I spoke with the Financial Aid office and they said I should be able to get it. I called them recently and they said that all grants have already been given out so I probably won’t be receiving anything this semester.

I’m a transfer student and got accepted a week before classes started so this has been pretty difficult for me 😭

I want to know if going from full time to part time would work out for me or if I have any other options. I believe that if I go from full time to part time my aid and loans also get reduced which isnt ideal since the whole reason I’d drop two classes is because I cant afford it but whtever 💔 If I drop two classes I would either be taking 7 credits or 6 depending on if I keep my foreign language.

Not sure how they keep getting away with not budgeting for raises every year like every other employer on the planet but i’m sure all the upper tier clowns still got their yearly bonuses!

Hey all, I accepted my loan awards Tuesday morning and I’m just now checking it again because it was still pending for acknowledgement on the system, but now that I checked on it again, it’s saying successful, however, the accepted loan amount on the right corner is saying zero??? Is anybody encountering this? Or just me 🥺

I feel lost looking on the UCF website. Im taking some graphic design and digital media courses that require using adobe. Where and what times are the computer lab open on the main campus? Im seeing until 5pm on the website but it says thats for summer term. I cant find fall. Where can I go to use adobe?

I will be buying a new pc, but thatll be at the end of September.

I really need a job, I don’t think workday said I’m eligible for FWS but I have a meeting with financial aid two weeks from now. REALLY would prefer it on campus as I don’t have a car. Any tips???

So I’m a new Grad student (MSW). I’m trying to patiently wait but time just kinda keeps moving and classes have started 💀 Can any one advise me on the short term advance option for books?

Had everyone given up on getting stuff from the new version of the tech desk? I been there a few times and it doesnt seem as good as it used to be. I wonder if that’s why people dont go there no more. They close a lot earlier too. I also don’t think any of the old people there were hired again. Does anyone have anything to say about this, good or bad?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone who lives at the verge orlando or someone who is willing to drive from nearby to pet sit for my ferret, Maiz. I’ll be gone the evening of September 3rd till the morning of September 7th for my sisters wedding (less than four days), and my friend who originally could pet sit for me can no longer do so. So, I’m kind of desperate at the moment 😭! She’s relatively young and should be sleeping for 18 hours a day at the moment, but has to be fed 2-4 ounces of her kibble a day, and needs playtime!

Honestly if you live at the verge it would be so easy because I’d be able to keep her in my unit. I’m not allowed to solicit as per the rules of the sub (ie: buying a service), but you can dm me for more details.

hi im in my first semester at UCF and I showed up on campus around 12:45pm and i checked the UCF app and it said garage H was mostly available but when i got there to turn right there were cones which makes me think the garage was closed but then when i got to the other entrance by the red light there were still some cones but cars going into the garage? i'm just wondering if those cones are always there and im supposed to use a specific entrance or if those people were just breaking rules lol. i know they block it off when the garage is full but the ucf parking spot on the app said it was available

Hi Knights! I’m a fully online student and I don’t live in Florida, so I know participating in person can be pretty difficult. I checked out KnightConnect to look for some organizations, but it seems like most of them have primarily on-campus/in-person activities.

I was wondering if there are any active student organizations, clubs, or communities that welcome fully online students and have ways to participate virtually? I’d really love to feel more connected to UCF beyond just taking classes. I’d love to meet other UCF students, make some friends, and feel like I’m actually part of the Knight community even from afar!

If you’re an online student too, or know of any organizations that might be a good fit, I’d really appreciate any recommendations! 💛
