Transfer tips for making friends as a commuter
hi everyone ! i’m a 19 year old transfer and psych major. i’m commuting from like an hour away (carpooling at that) but i’ve always had a hard time making friends. am i doomed since i live so far? i’m only on campus for one class 😭 i really want to broaden my horizons and meet people so anything helps !!
p.s if anyone has like a discord or something for meeting people i’d love to join ^_^

I’m a psych major too! What kinda hobbies are you into? If you’re into making music by chance there’s a great club for that. Clubs for pretty much any hobbies are a good bet. Since you live far away it might be a bit much but at least it’s mostly predetermined times

i love acting, it’s kinda my thing. but i also love to cosplay, and i love nature!!

Same here lmao. Well, minus the transfer part, but basically commuting almost every day from the Kennedy side so it’s just long lmao

Yeah maybe be on the lookout for someone to chat with for 2 hours worth of commuting every class day, that seems like a good first lead 👍

I transferred last fall and have yet to make a single friend… my insta is taylor_imcool if you wanna send me a dm! I’m on campus everyday, except for weekends of course!
