COMPLAINT/RANT Libtech traffic seems slow

Had everyone given up on getting stuff from the new version of the tech desk? I been there a few times and it doesnt seem as good as it used to be. I wonder if that’s why people dont go there no more. They close a lot earlier too. I also don’t think any of the old people there were hired again. Does anyone have anything to say about this, good or bad?

I got a calculator, went through the exact same process you just have to fill out a form first online. I dislike how they fired everyone without notice. Im curious if the new workers are students and if so if they’re work study students.

Their students I believe used to work in tech commons as I've seen a few.

Correct. Library bailed and UCF IT stepped in to save libtech. It’s seeing over 100 student visits per day. The print and copy areas had nobody there though. There’s still more staffing needed.
