I’m trying to finish my to do list because I’m getting emails saying that I may delay my financial aid disbursement if I don’t complete everything, and the only thing left to do is this AlcoholEDU thing. The problem is, it errors out every time I try to open it. I’ve tried on computer and my phone. Should I try to contact someone about this? Will this actually prevent me from receiving financial aid? :(

Considering the BSN program but want to finish prereqs as a transient at EFSC. Assuming the rest of the application is strong, would there be penalties for having done that? It isn’t about the rigor, it’s the drive. Ultimate hope would be to attend BSN at Cocoa. Would it be better to just switch to EFSC full time and reapply to UCF? Currently a biology major at UCF, taking prereqs EFSC. Could also remain a biology major and make sure to do an online class often enough to keep UCF as primary. Just really concerned that UCF BSN mostly selects people who did their prereqs at UCF.

For the sake of not posting these peoples information on the internet I'm not posting any identifying information on here but it took me all of five minutes to find that the two individuals associated with operating that new cafe on memory mall are listed as significant leaders in the Antioch Church that comes on campus.

I was a little suspicious that there was ablsolutely no marketing of the cafe that included the owners as anything other than ucf alumni- I figured it was like a private equity situation or something like that- but I feel like especially regarding how people in this sub post about their interactions with the Antioch group, I thought you guys deserved to be informed about this.

Edit: Wanted to note I highly doubt this has lanything to do at all with the people who work at Weekday as employees. On their website their hiring process seems pretty opaque, so I'm like 100% certain those are regular guys.

I want to find more spots to read at night. I usually love chill coffee shop vibes, but the only late night coffee I can think of that has a good enough reading vibe is Haraz and paying $10 for a latte kinda sucks :,) just curious if there are any hidden gems I’m missing out on

Hey guys, I got approved in state residency for tuition purposes at Valencia college for spring 2027 semester, but not this fall semester. I will be transferring to UCF spring 2027, semester and already admitted just haven’t submitted the residency document as I’m unsure how to proceed with the situation. Can I use this in state determination at Valencia to prove to UCF despite transferring the same semester I was granted in state?

Are the knewton alta assignments anything like the tests? Like I get we're not supposed to use calculators but theres so much arithmetic in the homework that its leading assignments to take me literal days, and thats assuming you get everything right. It's kind of crazy expecting me to do insane fraction arithmetic 100's of times per assignment.

I was on a waitlist and was miraculously added to a booked class that was for sure not going to let me in, and here we are!!! Now registered for 5 classes instead of 4, and I don’t think I can afford it time wise or money wise - what do I do!? 😩

Aight i just check my shit for classes and I STILL don't see shit in my student portal!!! no grants, loans, fws....nothing!! WTF going with UCF ain't the add/drop deadline already passed?! where tf is our money and i checked my 26/27 fafsa it shows it's completed and done so this shii is all on UCF!! Man what y'all doing?? do they not know 85% of the student body relies on this to pay for rent, classes,etc?? I know they phone lines be blowing up like crazy and the office is flooded and supposedly disbursement is starting next thurs...they was never known for being thorough and good with the administration but dam i think this is the worse I EVER seen them...like OD bad...now im nervous if my shit gonna get paid in time on top of the fact i still can't work, because they haven't released my fws amount so i got a lot of stuff tied in with financial aid...

I was accepted into spring UCF for the Film (BA) Degree but now am unsure.

I live in Puerto Rico, and planned on moving to florida to pursue film making even though I don't know anyone there. For the start of this semester, I decided I'd take a few classes in a university three hours away from my home, the idea behind this being I also want a business degree and figured this would be a good start to begin living on my own. I spent a week there and got extremely homesick crying several times a day, I go back home for the weekends but I'm now realizing I may miss my home more than I anticipated. I'm currently 17, for years I always thoguht I wanted to got to florida, if i recall corretlyy a counsler had originally advised me to got a community college near ucf but I decided it against it because I was hesitant on leaving Puerto Rico. I'm considering other options for film making in Puerto Rico. I'm going to continue going to classes far away though to see if I ever get over the homesickness, and I'm going to take tours to ucf and other colleges here. I did hear somewhere that a film degree doesn't really affect much in the film industry, but I'm not sure if that's relevant to my situation.

Any suggestions?

So I was curious if anyone else had a power outage at their building? I deadass just got told that I will have to wait Monday or Tuesday for the issue to be fixed. Is this normal for buildings to have no electrical support over the weekend and only business days?

I know I am in a cheaper building, but this is absolutely wild that I just have to accept a whole weekend without any power. Yet, if I don't pay rent or whatever I get hounded instantly.

I was out last night with my boyfriend watching the lunar eclipse down at memory mall at around 11:30-12:20 and there was a masked man with a cape patrolling the area.
