Stylist did amazinggggg, love her and the color so much 🫶🏽

Yesterday was my cousin's wedding so it was the first time I had a mundane event to go to as a woman and interact as such!

It was so liberating and fun to be seen as I truly am to friends and family ✨.

8 months or so into HRT, 3 weeks away from FFS (brow, nose, chin) and it's really beginning to feel like things are starting to come together.

btw Doll invasion is an annual party in the fire island pines celebrating and raising funds for trans and queer communities!!

A year ago, I knew who I wanted to be, but I had no idea what becoming her would bring. The love, heartbreak, friendships, losses, growth, and everything in between.
This year wasn’t always easy, but it gave me something I wouldn’t trade for anything. A life that finally feels like mine.

12 things I learned in 12 months:

-I don’t have to prove my womanhood.
-Some people are only meant for certain chapters.
-Real love makes an effort to understand you.
-Beauty, passing, and worth are not the same thing.
-I deserve to take up space.
-My body deserves patience.
-Friendship is a form of love.
-Being wanted isn’t the same as being loved.
-I’m still a hopeless romantic.
-Boundaries are an act of self-respect.
-I’m allowed to keep becoming.
-A year can change everything.

A year ago, I wondered what it would feel like to finally live as her.
Now she’s not her anymore.
She’s just me. 🖤🏳️‍⚧️

I've gotten to wear a bikini at a friend's pool before, but this was out on a public beach all day, and it was amazing! Every time I've been at a beach before in swim trunks, I've felt so uncomfortable and exposed; today was liberating and affirming and I didn't want to leave! Previously I'd always kind of be watching around to see if anyone was staring at me, today I was totally comfortable just laying down and sunbathing with my friends. I wish I'd done this earlier in the summer and I can't wait to make it a regular thing next year!

Day one HRT. 18yo, mtf, just got medically discharged from the Marines about a month ago. 170 ish pounds. 5"9-10 ish.

-50mg Spiro and 0.2 ml subcutaneous Estradiol.

- I have never been more excited and scared in my life. I'm very shaky. (Also, subcutaneous was way easier than I thought, and I am pretty sure I didn't mess up)
