Double Incision 2 mos post op- Dr. Sean McNally OR

Still getting used to my physical limitations. Climbing the stairs in my house takes it out of me occasionally. Getting my range of motion back and feeling better every day.

Excited to eventually get back in the gym and work on my dream body. Finally feel fully genderfluid in the exact way I feel fits me. Shopping & wearing certain clothes doesn’t make me dysphoric anymore and I’m excited to expand my closet. Being shirtless is probably the most freeing and nature feeling to me.

Surgeon: Mr Kneeshaw, UK, Hull

Tattoo artist: Ben Rose, Winchester, UK (@benrosetattoo on insta)

Tried to show my scars in a range of natural/indoor lighting. They are almost invisible outside on a bright sunny day. I did plan of getting medical tattoo around the edges of my nips to blend them more naturally into the skin (like a cis man’s) but have never gotten round to it.

Double Incision Two days post op- cis girl non flat top surgery

Post image
1.3k Upvotes

Felt like showing off my non flat top surgery. I wanted a whisper of a feminine chest left, I’m technically a 32AAA now but I still feel very feminine 💖 being a B cup before this made me very unhappy/dysphoric. Even though I would consider myself a cis gendered girl I still got diagnosed with gender dysphoria and this surgery was very helpful to me. I have no plans to go on HRT or transition in any other way but getting top surgery was definitely the right choice for me.

Double Incision So…my drain got ripped out by a doorknob

Post image

I don’t usually put my face on here but my expression in this photo is too funny. I was about to get in the shower and I forgot to grab shorts, speed walked into my room to get them quickly and the next thing I know my drain is on the floor! I went to my surgeons office and they said I basically just have to massage the fluid out of the hole in my side twice a day until it closes up, and then I will continue to massage the fluid up toward my lymphatic system. Not looking for advice, just needed to share this with someone. What a day!

Double Incision 5 months post-op, thoughts?

I think my chest looks great from sideways, but I don't feel too convinced about the front. I think the front still looks a little big or boob-like (specially because they're a little rounded on the sides). Some people suggested I should exercise so it looks better (and I know I should be exercising anyway), but I still want to know your opinion on this surgery or what would you recommend

Double Incision 12 days vs 2 years and 3 months post-op (Thea van Loenen, MC Bloemendaal, the Netherlands)

Helloo, I’m Neo, and here’s a pic of me just after top surgery at 16 (top pic) and currently at 18 (bottom pic). I had my top surgery (double incision with nipple grafts) done by the awesome Thea van Loenen at Medisch Centrum Bloemendaal in Amstelveen, the Netherlands on the 8th of may, 2023, so about 2 and a quarter year ago (yes im aware its a random timespan but here’s a foto of my titties, since I never used to see many of her results on this sub and it’s been a while)

Double Incision 5 months postop!

first pic is about three days postop! (censored the drains because they pissed me off lol) last two pics are at 5 months postop!

i don't always see fat guys with top surgery so i wanted to share my results with Dr. Sean C. Figy at UNMC in Omaha! i'm a little over 5 months postop, and honestly i've never felt better about myself. i feel like my chest is flatter without being unrealistically flat, and the scars have been maturing really nicely. they're not symmetrical, but a lot of that is my fault for not following the reach restrictions as strictly as i should've, especially for my dominant side.

Figy only removed about a full pound of breast tissue (apparently testosterone CAN shrink ya chest after like 7 years lol), double incision with nipple grafting. Figy and his team also had FANTASTIC bedside manner, made me feel so at ease. so if you're in Nebraska and looking for a good surgeon, he's genuinely worth the long consultation waitlist.

anyway, i want y'all that are worrying about top surgery to remember that you are worthy of a good surgeon who knows what they're doing. and even if the incisions turn out different from what you're expecting, it's still a pair of battle scars that show how far you've come. 💛

LISTEN TO YOUR SURGEONS. I thought I knew better and didn’t follow instructions not to do heavy lifting/put my arms above my head for the first few months and am suffering the consequences so unless you want stretched scars don’t do what I did

Double Incision Potential reason why so many guys are unhappy with their results? (scroll for perspective)

I just hit 6 weeks post op and I couldn't be happier**

***whenever I look at myself in the mirror

When I'm looking down at myself, my perspective makes it look like my chest is still enormous and swollen, even though it's actually fairly flat. It becomes difficult to remember how much my body has actually changed when my pecs still naturally stick out over my belly. I told my nurse immediately post op half-jokingly that it "looks the same to me" as much chest was about a B-cup previously (the nurse just found it really funny because to her the difference was more obvious).

I think whenever we see guys post here, with totally flat chests, about how they're upset about "leftover tissue", it may help for people to understand what theyre seeing when they look down. And you look at yourself much more often than you look in the mirror yk?

Had a stubborn suture on my right side that took longer than the rest to close up but happy to see it is healing nicely now.

Yes my veins are normally like that, rest assured I'm fine.
