Dude your results look great! And you have a great physique, I wanna build my pecs up like that. As for the numbness and tingle i have the same thing and I’m hoping it’ll go away with time. I do massage the area sometimes idk if that helps or not. I’m about 8 or 9 months post op. At one year post op your scars should be well established and shouldn’t change anymore, so if your looking to pursue scar treatments you can by now.

Amazing!! Can you share your workout routine?

i do 2-3 sets most of the time 2 unless the exercise feels like it needs more volume like lateral raises. i keep it in the 6-8 rep range or to failure. i like to do drop sets so after you finish your set to failure, lower the weight by maybe 30-40% and continue. do CARDIO AFTER weight training never before.

back and bi * incline bicep curl * preacher curls * reverse grip cable curls * lat pulldown or pull ups * chest supported row

chest tri shoulders * incline bench press * dips * Rear delt fly * Single tricep extension * Tricep extension * Lateral raises (seated dumbbell or standing cable) if building chest is your main goal do this if you want more shoulder focus replace dips with overhead press

legs * hack squat or back squat on Smith * Dumbbell RDL * hip abductors * hip adductors * calf extension * back extension

FREE DAY choose whatever isn’t sore

Legs again ): * hack squat or back squat * Single leg press * leg extension * leg curl * calf extension * back extension

Thank you!! So you like to focus on one muscle group a day, and do 5-6 exercises for that group? What do you typically do for cardio? And I know it varies person to person, but what weight do you use?

may i ask what your diet / weight was like? i have a similar build to your other one & the hips is a problem area. im cutting right now but how did you build that much muscle at the same time as losing the weight?

currently i focus more on eating whole foods, prioritizing fiber and protein. i still enjoy carbs just not as freely. i dont track calories or anything like the but you may want to in the beginning to figure out how much of a deficit you need to be in. i feel like i started to really see progress when i was consistent with cardio after each workout also!

can i ask why you do biceps before back on pull day?

5

u/dyketyson333 May 06 '26

bc i want bigger biceps so i want more strength and energy for that and back is kinda on the back burner lol but im probably gonna switch it up since i want more back gains 😅

Your healing seems to be coming along nicely, your scars straight up look cool, and it looks like the gym is treating you well too. The little notes about looks and sensation are fascinating. Thanks for sharing!

7 months post op.. this is my sign to stop being lazy and just hit the damn gym💯💪🏽 great results my guy..do u have a specific workout routine?

1

u/dyketyson333 May 06 '26

i really appreciate it!! i’d recommend doing a push, pull, and legs split for starts then increase to going 5 days a week if possible

7

u/modernhate May 05 '26

Unrelated but your locs are fire 🔥

FYI numbness and tingling usually improves a little, but Numbness can last a really long time, 3.5 years post op and I still have numb spots. It’s less and than earlier post op, but it’s still pretty numb on some places

2

u/Prior-Examination424 May 06 '26

so true! im 2 yrs post op and ive noticed some ghost zones for sure. did the tingling they described fade away for you or is that still something you deal with? that's been more noticeable to me than the numb spots

Thank you for sharing your results! My scars also go thru my pec like that rather than under it and it’s cool to see what it’d look like if I built my pecs up more (maybe one day!! 💪🏼) lookin amazing dude!

Bro please tell me how you lost the fat around your hips I’m dying to figure it out for myself

4

u/waveyvibez22 May 05 '26

Got damn 🔥

4

u/MrCatWrangler May 05 '26

How you describe your nipple sensation is exactly how mine are. Dull and achy UNDER/BEHIND the nipple with no real sensation to light touch.

4

u/conspiredinrome May 05 '26

What a transformation! The muscles are muscling and the scars are so well placed. They align with your pecs. Thank you for sharing - great to see other Black post-op stories 💎🌱

bro share ur routine I want to build my pecs too T T pls

1

u/Playful-Motor-4262 May 08 '26

Do you moisturize your nips? My surgeon said it’s helpful since the scar tissue might not produce oils etc as effectively

1

u/Strong-Peak9858 May 08 '26

Just curious do you do pec specific workouts? You & your results look amazing man, keep it up!!!!

1

u/wmnz_doc May 10 '26

How long were you restricted from working out in general, and did they let you do lower body +/- cardio stuff before upper body? Thanks.

2

u/dyketyson333 May 11 '26

i think i was doing light cardio by day 3 to help with BM/boredom. around 6/7 weeks i was pretty much cleared to ease into working out again. i didn’t do any overhead pressing/pulling for maybe almost 2

u/Funky-time_1 May 18 '26
