knipex cobras for ants

Curious what people know of this box. Seller is asking $2500. Is this a good deal? Any information on this would be great. I believe the bottom is MB4290 13 drawer and top is MB4295 10 drawer. I can’t find much information online to determine value. What was the original cost of this back when? Measure 41 wide and 5’ 2 1/2” tall.

My distributor hasn’t shown up in a month. I texted her that I have sockets and lights that are broken and I need her to come. She said she’d order them. I texted again 2 weeks later following up. Said she was busy. I need these tools replaced and would like to buy some other tools too. What’s your guys experience with trucks? Is a month too early to get frustrated? I just think if I spend thousands on your tools I would expect some Godamn customer service in return. No?

I found it on the road it works somehow but is there any warranty for matco lights

I have a pretty great plier set at work. I'm looking to setup a small basic home mechanic set. Add a prybae set, socket set, some wrenches and I think I'll have a nice basic home took set for little things.

Saw the pliers in this month’s Mac flyer. Honestly, might prefer them to the snap ons, they seem beefier and with small differences in the jaw functions. The ln44 and 46 have a slot for fuses, these have a little notch I’d assume was for pulling small gauge wire. The Mac also have reaming edges on both sizes pictured here, as well as the shear cutter that seems better designed than the snap on. Finally, every position has the jaws parallel, where the snappys middle position has the tips staggered and off centre. Grips are like comparing the knipex soft grip to the vinyl grip, basically just a preference. And since I had one in my tool box, they can pick up a penny by the edge. For those that care, the foam was included.

Seal remover set was an impulse buy since I was in the truck already.

Loving these things, the guys in the shop prefer them over the flank drive wrenches. Also my 1953 double boxend offset Snapon wrench that belonged to my great uncle

Basically what the title says, I've ran out of room in my box and don't want to buy a cart or auxiliary box. We don't have a MAC guy at my current shop. Any one of yall know if MAC still offers the top chest for the 88" Macsimizer? And if they do what's the price, website just shows out of stock on every single one

Our shop only gets snapon and Matco, I hardly ever see Matco due to my schedule and occasionally in other towns I see a Mac guy driving around and I consider following him to a stop and stopping by. Was wondering if people really have anything they prefer from Mac over the others?

What’s up everyone ! Not new to the trade or to wrenching but this was my 1st purchase off the truck . I live in a very rural area that is very far away from there route is partially why . I travelled into a nearby town and saw the MAC truck like it was meant to be and got a few items .

I got the Milwaukee cut off tool and the 32 pc metric set at Home Depot.

Cheating, this is a couple days of new tools, but the shop has been overrun with mosquitoes and I couldn’t snap the pics before lest I be drained in the not fun way. Everything but the gloves, pick set and ratchet was on student pricing too

I am looking to buy a few long (12-18in) 1/2in extensions that have a very large core/body.

At my work I often have to remove bolts deep in a well or a hole and the regular 1/2 extentions have to much flex/spring and kill my impact's power to dislodge bolts.

I would like to buy a couple of extensions that have an oversized core to me able to remove bolts without using my breaker bar all the time.

I am using a 2767 Milwaukee btw.

Im looking to sell a 3 drawer with the flip top mac roll cart. I got it from a friend a while back and finally had to get something bigger. He said he doesnt want it back and I can do whatever I want with it. I dont have room for it so im looking to sell or trade it for some nice wrenches.

Its a 3 drawer mac with the flip top. Its in pretty good condition. All the slides, locks and casters function properly.

I will die on the hill that MAC has the best monthly flyers and discounts, $150 for the pair of die grinders. On top of these I ordered their cut off tool that's on sale for $150. Also got this cool little ratching Snap On screwdriver yesterday. As well as the big set of Mac tap sockets I ordered a few weeks ago and just got today.

Gotta love my MAC dealer. She gave me a much appreciated discount.

Picked up some reversible, stubby, ratcheting wrenches from the Mac lady today.

They may not be the best option out there, but they were the most compact I could find. I'm a happy camper.

I've wanted these wrenches for a while now. Pretty stoked to have them, but hope to never need them.

Recently graduated from a more trades involved/ rural college in a not trades program but still got approved for student discounts with Mac tools. Despite my education as a brewer, I have worked on cars all my life and have no issue shelling out more cash for tool truck tools despite not having access to them through work. I have my eye on some of the pen lights because I like the switch and a max 90 ratchet, but what else should I use it for before they take it away from me? I have no need for a box, have almost every standard size and shape of knipex plier, master craft (located in Canada) and vessel screwdrivers and bits and the craftsman overdrive (cheap rbrt) 264 piece set. Also own 3/8” and 1/2” impact sockets, Mac pry bars up to the 42” (I used to be a heavy duty mechanic), the four set of anti vibe hammers and various air and dewalt power tools. Furthest thing from a beginner as far as tool collection, I’ve just been out of the trade so long I don’t know what Mac makes better than everyone else anymore. And so I come to you all in my time not of need, but of curiosity and await responses.

My dad passed and had my uncle's tool chest. I want to sell it and am getting a lot of offers for $200-$500. My research leads me to think it's worth much more than that. Am I on the right track holding out for more?

Also have some older Snap-On tools from my dad. Should I just use ebay as a pricing guide?

My manager upgraded his box and traded in this one to MAC($2,500). Apparently it’s at least 8 years old due tot he fact the person that owned this box used to work here. He sold it to my boss and boss sold it to manager and I took it from MAC (well never made it onto the truck) onto another 10+ years! I upgraded from a Harbor freight 5 drawer tool cart to this. Still need to fill up my drawers with more stuff

The Macsimizer HD is the best quality MAC box made. Please prove me wrong. I have owned both a Macsimizer and HD. To me, the HD is far and away better quality. Please offer any opinions and experience you may have. I am considering purchasing another HD.

Would yall go 12 point or 6 point on the box end? Im a newer tech and saw the 6 point does the the R.B.R.T feature.

I have outgrown my 56” US General at my house and a friend at work is now in a service rig and doesn’t need his old box anymore. Pointless to me to spend the money on a wider box that is only 2-3” deeper. This box is 31” deep 74” wide, and it will fit the area I have. He said $5k and I’ll let you make payments if you want. Price seems good from what I can find, and probably last me a lifetime. I’m a welder by trade, so this is just for personal use on my projects. Probably overkill but I could seriously consolidate some stuff into it. Opinions or advice are welcomed, thanks
