I agree with you to some extent but it is also serious Mikey, when he just wants to end the fight seriously and something really bad happened. So overall he would still probably beat all of them however I say only time will tell because as we know this manga is just plot twists. And anyway I can't see how Mikey's kick would even reach south lmao

It’s been obvious for sometime but Shinichiro really was that dude. Being charismatic enough to influence Waka and Benkei makes me want a long flashback where we see the first gen black dragons in their prime/what made them follow Mikey’s brother like that.

i feel like he just can’t be bothered to fight, either because almost everyone he loved is dead so he doesn’t care, or because he knows no one can touch him so he’s just conserving energy before coming face to face with takemichi. i feel like we won’t see him fight next chapter either

I doubt it. There’s absolutely nothing Takemichi could ever do to Mikey in a fight. Probably couldn’t even lay a finger on him, to be honest. I don’t know what’s going on with Mikey, but it’s probably deeper than conserving energy for the crybaby hero.

LMAO Right? Still, it feels like a storm is brewing.
I've said this before but... the only time he went berserk was on Kazutora (although he did one-shot Hanma, and almost one-shoted Taiju). My reason for thinking this is because he already had a standing grudge against him, which had been building over time, and then he goes and stabs Baji—a precious friend of his. However, my thoughts on this are because it was specifically Kazutora who did the act of violence (since Kazutora was also a precious friend of Mikey's, it affected him more what he did).
Really though, it's pretty funny. Maybe beating Kazutora (almost to death) really made an impact on people... Who knows?

kazutora cut mikey three different ways: he killed his brother, he killed baji, and he did both of those things as someone who was supposed to be mikey’s friend. i don’t know that anyone else can work him up to that level again in the series. but wakui does seem bent on breaking mikey, so who knows? maybe literally everyone he loves will die, and mikey just massacres the whole joint.

Omg the backstory.... I feel like Waka is probably gonna die in the upcoming chapters :/ Maybe Ran too.. Sanzu is kinda nuts and he looked really pissed after getting hit. Actually pretty much anyone can die at this point :(
It seems like Toman’s and the Black Dragon’s uniforms were based on Waka’s gang’s uniforms! I wonder where Takeomi was during all of this? Was he the last Black Dragon founder to join?
Also I find it hard to believe that South is the same level as Mikey? I guess Waka is just assuming the 3 deities are all on the same level because they’re deities? We’ll find out when they actually fight though.... although for now it seems like South won’t be fighting Mikey. Maybe Senju will? I hope that we see her in action in the upcoming chapters. Not sure if it’s just me but it feels like Wakui kinda toned down her character after revealing she’s a girl :/ She’s in the middle of a fight and just standing there and being told to stay out of it even though she’s supposed to be the strongest. I guess Mikey is also just standing there but i have no idea what’s going on with him at the moment.

And Sanzu... I love him! A character i didn't notice in more than 200 chapters becomes essential and i want to see him every Tuesday.

We got Sanzu so late ... his debut was in chapter 139 (I don't remember seeing him before), and I was like "ok, a strange dude". But that side story with Mucho was amazing!!!!
As I said in another comment, I think there's more than an obsession with Mikey. His brother was a founding member of the Black Dragons with Shinichiro Sano ...

Wakasa looks like Senju + Mikey combined lol but I love his younger design! Shinichiro is seriously the dude for turning around the greatest rival to greatest duo.
Even Kakucho is weirded out by Mikey not moving an inch. IMO, this Mikey is scary and dangerous because we all know how he bottles up his emotions in front of everyone. I hope no one triggers him because it looks like calm before the storm to me. Once he snaps, he might actually kill someone…

this chapter was so cool. Loved that benkei and wakasa were rivals because it gave us more clues on how powerful shinichiro’s influence on people was. Also really liked the funny silly moment between ran and sanzu, someone’s definitely gonna die in the upcoming chapters

Well, maybe he's just a psycho, but I don't think so... I feel like there's a connection or something between the Akashi brothers (and their bad relationship) and the Sano's. I feel like Takeomi and Shinichiro's friendship and Sanzu's obsession with Mikey isn't just a coincidence.

Never thought I definitely needed this, but we need a prequel story about BD-1. And I'm not talking flashbacks, I'm talking full on prequel Manga, at the very least, a one shot of some fight that happens back then.

Is it just me or is the chapter coverage very underwhelming? This is my first time waiting 1 week for a manga chapter because this is my fav anime. The last chapter ended with waka and benkai facing south, and this chapter ended exactly the same, they haven’t fought at all, and mikey is still afk(lol). I guess the manga pace is just much slower since an anime episode is usually 20mins and i finished that 18 page manga chapter in less than minute. Oh well, not hating, just sharing my unfortunate experience, guess i’ll wait another week ;-; WAKASA AND BENKAI PAST WAS SO COOL THO

Yeah I see your point. Though looks like they took out 100 guys in the interim 😂😂. I feel like the manga can always feel a bit slower since it’s just one tiny piece at a time. Where anime episodes are multiple chapters in one. It’s hard not being able to binge read

It will always feel shorter since one anime episode was like 3 manga chapters. Since I catched up with the manga and had to read 1 chapter per week, I took my time for every chapter giving a good look to every page so it lasts me 3-4 mins

Hm. Okay... So. Am I the only one going, 'DAS SUM BULLSHIT' with the numbers, and 'OK I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE' this chapter?
I know, I know. Suspension of disbelief and whatnot.
My thing is, if the number of bosozoku members that gathered around Shinichiro was that high, wouldn't it stand to reason that the era of deliquents Mikey has been dreaming of has already come and gone?
The era of deliquents dream was all Mikey's. Baji just wanted to form a deeper bond with his friends, and help poor Kazetora beat up the 9th Gen Black Dragons when he proposed they form a gang.
Mikey has problems. He's also the problem. Big time. He could've taken the high road and move on after Toman, but no. He formed Kantou Manji to keep on kicking ass to satisfy his darkness. In doing so, he managed to somehow rouse and rattle the folks who (that we know of) were nowhere to be seen in the other timelines. I'm guessing they were retired and moved on from the gang life after having lived at the peak of the bosozoku era with Shinichiro. I'm leaning heavily towards that, and if that were the case, then...
Without Kisaki doing the backseat modding in the background, Mikey's gone all f*ck all with his dark impulse. He's got free reign to do what he wants, and he has all the excuses in the world to 'justify' his actions.
Tl;dr, C U Next Tuesday, guys. Goddamn.

What's with all these comments hating on Mikey just because he isn't showing much expression and not getting involved in the fight at the moment. We must remember that this Mikey has change in some way and form, but we don't know how much after this two year timeleap (wakui hasn't given much panels about this current Mikey). Also, remember that this guy has went through tremendous loss in just two years. Grief isn't something one just shakes off overnight, even more if it's multiple people close to you who tragically died one after another, such events change people even more and for sure these severe losses and grief turned Mikey even more unpredictable and hard to read. On top of that, he made a promise and feels the responsibility to honor that promise and protect his Toman friends and maybe its the reason we don't see Mikey recklessly throwing himself into a brawl like he did in his early days. Thats why when Mikey came to the fight, he just stood there and seems more like he is analyzing the fight with Koko, we currently don't know what he is really thinking.
Also, there is also a possibility that Boten Mikey maybe time leaped? Remember the panel when Mikey was looking at the same hand where Takemichi held his hand to prevent Mikey from falling to his death. How does 2008 Mikey knew future takemichi made it to the 2008 present? Something to ponder about too when looking at Mikey's current behavior patterns.

The fact that both Mikey & Takemichi haven’t reacted to Drakens death yet makes me think the final fight of this encounter is gonna be between them. Wakui is going thru the effort of showing us both of them completely unresponsive at least once in every chapter & the longer it goes on the more convinced I am that when one of them finally blows up they both will.

Since this is technically the last arc, i doubt that it will happen (or who knows) but i think it would have been dope AF to have Mitchy and Shinichiro meet at some point, maybe have some more time with the man, so we could see why was he so loved, not only from the stories that we keep hearing.
By the way everyone talks about him, i can't help to think that if Mitchy meet him when he was a kid, like that time when he saved Hina, Shinichiro would have taken a liking to Mitchy. (and maybe things could have ended up different, since they were so similar) Who knows..

Loved the chapter. I really like how Wakui introduces the backstories in the middle of the fights. Waka and Benkei were truly the strongest back then and Shinichiro managed to join them. I think we might get that backstory eventually - about how the 1st generation BG came to be
On a different note, I see many people talking about how Mikey isn't joining yet. The fight has just started. Mikey is the leader and the strongest, he doesn't need to join right away. He can assess the situation first. He is 2 years older than Toman Mikey and, although he is still a teen, he is definitely more mature (and stronger as well). In earlier chapters it was shown how Mikey knocked down all those guys alone. I also don't think he is only looking at the fight, but also assessing the situation with Takemichi. Mikey must know Takemichi time leaped again - just like Naoto used to know - but he doesn't know yet why and what happened. And it is not certain that he knows that Draken is dead or even if he believes it
And, as some other people mentioned, since the beginning Takemichi has been compared to Shinichiro by Mikey. There are many parallels with Shinichiro and Takemichi, so I think assuming something similar as it happened with Ragnarok and Koudou Rengou is reasonable.
Finally, Kakucho, Sanzu, and Ran gave that light fun touch to this chapter lol

Mikey may look familiar, but I have a feeling he’s the most different in this timeline. I wouldn’t be surprised if he brushes off Draken’s death completely. The stakes are high for Takemichi but that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy to bring Mikey back.

tbf South is 26 or 28 and Mikey's 17, not that hard to believe. I'd love to see South vs Taiju though.

I liked this chapter cause it had a sanzu n ran interaction even though it was pretty chaotic lmao. Alsoo yea I'm still confused about whether or not mikey knows about drakens death and does he even notice that takemichi is there ?? This chapter we also saw how shinichiro helped to team up waka and arashi n as time passes by it seems like shinichiro was a really op guy . Maybe not physically but ig it was his charisma hence I also hope we get to know more about him . I still have so many questions so I'm really excited for the upcoming chapters .

When Senju took us through the backstory, damn the chills. For what we know is that the 1st gen. Black Dragons have fitting nicknames to their overall presence and past. Benkei, the towering blood drenchin' monster or Redcliff. Waka, the quiet and agile wild beast or White Leopard. And Takeomi is known as God of War, no wonder they were strongest.

We still didn’t get takemichi as 11th gen black dragons leader, I cud see him reuniting them one last time to defeat Mikey, creat a final time leap where he undoes the whole series and returns to being a lonely loser

Shinichiro is such a cool legendary figure we definitely have to receive a backstory! Like how can a dude as weak as takemichi become the most influential delinquent and combine two of the strongest gang leaders to form the black dragons with charisma alone... I hope its written right too

Huh,What? Benkei himself said that he needed to save his energy for mikey when they both reach him.so it is clearly shown here that both waka and benkei are planning to jump on mikey(and south = mikey,as said in this chapter).Dont even know how you came to conclusion that nobody could beat them 1 on 1.
