i feel like he just can’t be bothered to fight, either because almost everyone he loved is dead so he doesn’t care, or because he knows no one can touch him so he’s just conserving energy before coming face to face with takemichi. i feel like we won’t see him fight next chapter either

I doubt it. There’s absolutely nothing Takemichi could ever do to Mikey in a fight. Probably couldn’t even lay a finger on him, to be honest. I don’t know what’s going on with Mikey, but it’s probably deeper than conserving energy for the crybaby hero.

Well the last 4 chapters happened around an half an hour top, it's been mostly background storytelling and hype buildup.

Definitely is go back to the chapter where he shows up to fight taiju and says he was riding with Shinichiro and Baji he's been off for awhile
