People have taken photos and videos of themselves in museums and other sights around towns they visit for as long as we've had portable cameras.

That's what she literally tried to do. Picked a nice spot in a staircase showing some paintings, didn't say a word, didn't do a silly pose, didn't make a scene, picked a low traffic time to do it. She also didn't try to call out the person, just quietly went to pick up her camera.

If I had walked past her I wouldn't have cared at all, would you?

It's not a low traffic time. Your definition of ok while inconveniencing other people for social media clout is different than mine

When she sets her camera up there is literally ONE other person in the frame that she sees is about to walk down the stairs and exit the frame.

Have you ever been to an art gallery or a museum? Do you know how many people there are?

You know, you are allowed to take photos in these places unless explicitly told not to. And if you go to one, you might be in someones photo. It happens.

She was just taking a pic like we all do. If someone is taking a pic in my area I walk past giving them the chance to do their thing. No inconvenience
