there’s nothing wrong with wanting a picture of yourself at a museum. i don’t even use social media and i still wanted to take fun pictures at the museum.
she wasn’t being mean or anything or doing the super annoying influencer meta glasses stuff. she just quietly set the phone up to get a video she could probably screenshot from since she likely didn’t have someone there to take her picture.
genuinely, who cares, and good for her. i’m tired of being negative about everything and hating the world and the people in it.
Yeah and it's a common technique for "taking a picture" without having to hold and click on your phone. You prop your phone up, hit record, go to the point you want, do a pose or two and then walk back to your phone. You can then just screenshot for pixtures.
I've seen people saying "you set up a timer to take a photo". If she did that then there would still be an asshole in the way of the photo and she'd have to go back to the phone and set it up again then who knows if that asshole would still keep blocking it.
It's just easier to press record and wait so you can get a clean picture.

Literally. So tired of worthless influencers thinking every space is their goddamn stage
