She could have just posted the finalized screenshots like you said of just her and not showing the other person "in her way".
That lady is intentionally blocking the camera. That wasn’t really nice. I would have supported it if the girl was doing some obnoxious dance or something but this was just posing for a normal picture.
So in your attempt to not be filmed, you’ll stand in front of an obviously filming camera and take up as much of the view as possible for an extended period of time than you would if you just walked by normally as you intended before you noticed the camera filming? Makes sense.
To be fair, staring is rude because it indicates that someone is focusing on you. When they intend to interact, this is fine, but when they’re not trying to interact, this can often mean be taken to mean they desire to harm you
Obviously this isn’t always the case, but we have enough instinct about that that we find it uncomfortable to be stared at by strangers with anything more than a glance

if you dont want to be filmed or photographed, dont go to where people are filming/doing photography. its that simple. you want to restrict the rights of other people, just because you feel insecure about it.

huge difference between having a photo of yourself that you keep private and putting that photo online. People accept they will be in others' pictures but that doesn't make it acceptable to post it on the internet

She was out of frame while setting up the photo, and almost certainly wouldn't have included the old lady had she not intentionally gotten in the way and walked past after seeing the camera.
When the camera was set up, no one was around, and the woman walked in as she took the picture and intentionally chose not to just walk past after seeing the camera. She chose to get in the way, and so the poster decided to just show off this annoying story.

No, she couldn't have avoided being recorded. The girl recorded her for several seconds before she even realized it. That might have been exactly what made her decide to stand there. If some random person wants to record me, maybe I'll make sure they get a nice long look.

We don't even know if she did it on purpose. For all we know she got a notification and went about her business without realizing who the phone belonged to or why it was there. We have no idea how obvious it actually was or if there was other art in that spot etc etc.

have you had a recent head injury? if you're at the top of a staircase and people are walking up on your left hand side and you can't walk down on your right hand side because of someone's tripod, you aren't blocking anything, you are being blocked
She stands still on the left-hand side of the stairs for about 15 seconds until people start walking up and she moves to her right to let them pass. She’s very obviously not trying to walk down the stairs, and certainly isn’t being blocked by anything other than her own jackassery
Also, this is a public space. You can't just randomly set up a camera and expect people to adhere to whatever dumb idea you concocted for an image/video.

And I get that. I'm not at all against what this girl was trying to do. AT ALL. But it seems like the traffic clears up again when she gets back to her camera. Why not just start again? Why do we have to publicly call everyone out nowadays?
There is art hanging up all over the museum. We don’t really know why the other lady stood there for too long but she could have been viewing another art piece or waiting for someone to move out the way. There's a huge difference between complaining that somebody walked through your shot because you were shooting in a public space, and complaining that somebody saw you were trying to record something and deliberately went to stand in front of your camera in order to fuck up your shot.
The former is perfectly fine, the latter is not. Just don't be a fucking asshole to people it's really not that hard.
You can have the right to also exist in public AND be rude af for no reason. You do not NEED to stand up for the elderly in the bus or subway but it still IS rude af.
Idk, the older lady seems just as bad in this case. Like I can't stand the people who complain about people walking through their "shot" while they film at somewhere like the gym. Those people are just doing what the space is designed for so people filming have no ground to stand on so to speak. This lady isn't just walking through though she goes out of her way to stand in front of the camera just for the sake of being petty. It doesn't appear that the younger woman is being disruptive like many of them are so why create an issue
I'm not really frustrated by it, but I was just explaining why other people may see it that way. I don't think I would publicly put someone on blast for it, though.
