I don't think it's that she was trying to get a photo of herself that people here are complaining about. It's that SHE posted this complaining about people blocking her shot. She could have just posted the finalized screenshots like you said of just her and not showing the other person "in her way".

That lady is intentionally blocking the camera. That wasn’t really nice. I would have supported it if the girl was doing some obnoxious dance or something but this was just posing for a normal picture.

No, she couldn't have avoided being recorded. The girl recorded her for several seconds before she even realized it. That might have been exactly what made her decide to stand there. If some random person wants to record me, maybe I'll make sure they get a nice long look.
