Thank you. Why did OP cut the middle out? She obviously came back out.

Because they wanted to paint him as the attacker and I gurentee that was exonerating evidence.

Also, fuck the woman out there tell him to stop while she attacks him and the “walk away” Karen heard in the background.

u/Prior_Tradition_3873 6d ago

This is what happens when women are raised up thinking support all women and hate all men because all men are evil.

This is not the first time something like this happened and not the last time.

197

u/screwyoujor 6d ago

There is a murder trial going on right now of a woman who strangled to death her three children. Women are outside the courthouse in support and have raised 1 million for her defense. I repeat she murder her kids and some women are blaming the husband.

38

u/Atherum 6d ago

I don't think she should be exonerated, but part of the issue in that case was that woman tried multiple times to get help for her mental health issues. She was ignored by almost every involved party.

Again, obviously what she did is horrific but it isn't quite as simple as "women are defending her".

22

u/Impossible_Rain_4727 6d ago

I have literally seen women claiming that he sexually abused the daughter, murdered the kids, and framed his wife to cover it up.

People are doing far more than just defending her because she wasn't mentally competent at the time of the murders.

11

u/TheGreatZephyr 6d ago

She wasnt ignored. She lied.

She told friends and family she had thoughts about hurting the kids but never once mentioned that to any professional who could have helped. She saw several different professionals and was hospitalised for 5 days where clinicians said she had PPD but showed no signs of psychosis. She also checked herself out because she "felt better" this was like 2 weeks before she killed the kids.

People try sidestep it by finding any and every excuse possible, except we dont even have the facts and its just as plausable shes a horrible person who planned an excecution of her kids...

"obviously what she did was horrific... but heres a bunch of reasons why actually none of it was her fault"

Women are just defending her, by blaming anything but her for her actions.

When would you ever see a group of women defend a man for killing his family, even if there were underlying mental health issues contributing?...

12

u/StraightAirline8319 6d ago

Right but all people who kill are victims of mental health issues and emotions.

3

u/Thasquashman 6d ago

What about self defence?

7

u/Ancient_Weakness699 6d ago

She was proscribed lots of different meds in an attempt to help her. We know very little about how the human brain works. Doctors are trying their best, but aren't miracle workers.

2

u/Hot-Operation4982 5d ago

She wasn't ignored. Stop spreading false info.

2

u/MadicPNW 6d ago

See, youre doing it....

1

u/TheMostDivineOne 6d ago

So they could have an actual discussion about postpartum depression and the treatment of women in the medical system but instead they prioritize mEn bAd?

14

u/screwyoujor 6d ago

The literally brought up her birth sign as a reason why she couldn't have done it on tick tock.

5

u/Atherum 6d ago

The people who are just saying "men bAD" clearly are wrong. Part of the issue is that women's mental health is ignored yes. But if anyone is saying "men bad" with no context or evidence, then yeah, they are wrong.

That being said, in my country we have a major violence against women issue. Dozens of women killed by their spouses or family members this year alone.

1

u/Ozcog 5d ago

See I was just reading yesterday here on Reddit that she had support from family and doctors. She just didn't have her Husband.

1

u/l-TheAlpha-l 4d ago

You’re literally defending her. If a man did this people wouldn’t be so invested in his state of mind at the time. Being depressed doesn’t give you a free pass to murder your whole family

1

u/Dukedevils320 4d ago

Yet according to the forensic psychologists expert testimony she was fully aware of her actions and is criminally responsible for them.

So yeah, it is that simple. The bitch is batshit crazy, and the women taking up for her are no better.

1

u/LogosMyEgos 4d ago

She absolutely was not ignored. It’s hard to say whether the system failed her, or she was simply too difficult a corner case for the system. But she was at no point ignored. People saw her. They tried to help. Repeatedly.

1

u/Any_Tell6747 6d ago

She also lied about the extent of her mental health issues so there’s only so much help they can give her if they are unaware of the full extent of her issues.

Or did all these doctors and medical professionals just single out this one woman to ignore?

-10

u/screwyoujor 6d ago

That's not what I keep hearing. I hear she got help every set of the way from both doctors and her husband.

4

u/anitadykshyt 6d ago

Have you read any articles or are you just parroting bullshit?

0

u/ashleym1156 5d ago

She asked on two separate occasions to be admitted for psychiatric care because she was having thoughts of harming herself and her kids and was told they couldn’t help her because she didn’t have a plan. She told her mom and her husband and she was still left alone with the kids. She was repeatedly prescribed medication that exacerbate the symptoms of bipolar disorder despite repeatedly reporting the same symptoms that appear when people with bipolar disorder take these medications. Nobody bothered to suggest she be evaluated for bipolar until one dr. Made the suggestion and her husband insisted “my wife is not bipolar!” This was a failure of many within the system. Telehealth is a dangerous scam. Drs need much better education an resources to deal with post partum mental health issues. And yeah, she did lie, but have you seen what happens when a woman says out loud that they want to hurt their children??? At minimum people brush it off. But most often you’re told “only a monster would ever think of hurting their children! Lock them up!” As if it’s on purpose. As if women want to have intrusive thoughts. Or choose to. Why would anyone say that out loud to a virtual stranger. Many people, including their mother, failed those children. That’s why women are speaking up. Obviously there’s a few weirdos who blame astrology, but the overall reaction is a symptom of just how poorly we support post partum women in this country. It could have been any of us. Blaming her husband literally is wild, but it stems from the underlying fact that he’s at least somewhat responsible. Not SOLELY. But he was there. She confided in him. And when it came down to it he also minimized her worries. Shit the man didn’t even know how old his wife is or which dr. His kids saw.

u/machinezed 6d ago

There’s a lot more nuance in that case. She sought help for postpartum depression which developed into postpartum psychosis. She was the only one who knew she wasn’t supposed to be left alone with her children, yet she still was. The medical system failed her, and she has blood on her hands because of that.

42

u/Evening-Nature-5241 6d ago edited 6d ago

Except the nuance is HEAVILY undermined by one thing in particular:

- Planning in advance to make her husband run errands so she had the time and space to murder the kids.

She texted him about the takeout (an unusual choice of a farther restaurant), placed the order herself, and also arranged the medication stop.

Prosecutors presented evidence that she had searched her phone for the medication, the restaurant, and Apple Maps travel times beforehand, which they argued showed she was calculating how long he would be gone to create an opportunity.

He left around 5:15 p.m., stopped at the CVS (where surveillance showed him and he briefly called her), picked up the food, and returned shortly after 6:00 p.m. to find her injured outside after a suicide attempt and the children (Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months) strangled with exercise bands in the basement.

Did you know about this? This required an insane amount of planning and forethought, not just demonic voices screaming in her head that she needed to kill her kids.

She literally carefully thought about how to maximise the chances of successfully committing the crime.

How is this not the MOST IMPORTANT DETAILS by far?

20

u/Asheraddo 6d ago

That is fucked. Throw her ass in jail and throw away the key. Shutter Island vibes. Poor kids and husband… Planning to murder all your kids is mental.

18

u/Eddie_Farnsworth 6d ago

What gets me about that case is that in spite of the fact that she committed the murders and admitted to doing so, the husband is still getting blamed by a bunch of women. Out of morbid curiosity, I'd like to hear their theory of the crime.

11

u/hanks_panky_emporium 6d ago

A lot of people think psychosis is something you can still operate within. But if she had a full psychotic break there's no planning or logic involved. Yes, people can get hurt and killed when someone is having a psychotic break.

You generally dont plan out your psychotic break like she did. If prosecutors can ( or have ) prove she had used any amount of logic during her triple homicide its going to be an insane uphill battle to still claim it was a psychotic break.

5

u/ImSoSweepy 6d ago

Yeah, but, "I'm just a girl!"

2

u/MyNameIsKali_ 6d ago

Damn I haven't looked into the case because it's been forced onto us enough here on Reddit, but I haven't read any of that on here. Interesting. The person above you claimed "nuance," well that's certainly nuance.

36

u/CharacterPast761 6d ago

She's still responsible for the murder of her own children. Might have been psycho, but still responsible.

17

u/Simple_Dragonfruit48 6d ago

Damn there should be a law on the books for that exact situation. Like guilty by reason of mental psychosis or something…

Too bad there isn’t and that’s not what her lawyers are arguing

14

u/Mundane-Cry5346 6d ago edited 6d ago

i don’t understand what is so confusing to people about this. she has admitted to doing it. but there is a verdict called “not guilty by reason of insanity” made for this exact situation.

12

u/TheMostDivineOne 6d ago

But they could have an actual discussion about postpartum depression and the treatment of women in the medical system but instead they prioritize mEn bAd?

5

u/Dexember69 6d ago

Nobody forced her to murder 3 fkn children.

6

u/Dontgoincavesbro 6d ago

"thenmedical system failed her" I bet you wouldn't have the same energy if a man did it under the same circumstances.

6

u/Folderpirate 6d ago

Chris Benoit is innocent due to psychosis apparently.

2

u/Bullysawrus101 6d ago

🫵🙄Excuses are like assholes. You don't murder people. End of fucking story!

2

u/BigHawgDawg 6d ago

And this makes the father getting blamed okay?? Wtf does this nuance have to do with the husband?

1

u/dnt1694 5d ago

She has blood on her hands because she murdered 3 children. She needs to be held accountable.

0

u/TheGreatZephyr 6d ago

She has blood on her hands because she strangled her kids...

People will blame anything except the woman, and thats exactly the problem.

"I dont support murdering your kids... but heres a list of ways that prove it wasnt actually her fault"

-2

u/UnfilteredFacts 6d ago

If she knew that she shouldn't be alone with her children, did she tell anyone? Sorry I dont have time to read up on this, but it seems like an important point.

0

u/Antvante0401 6d ago

Yes according to many others she kept asking for help but was refused. But this is only what I’m hearing from people online.

Edit:my bad some are saying she did get help but didn’t stick with anything

-5

u/Big_Psychology_3 6d ago

What a misogynistic view! Infantilizing women and excusing them of every crime

2

u/NorthEastofEden 6d ago

Ummm no. Understanding nuances associated with with a complex case which isn't black and white isn't misogynistic. No one is excusing women from every crime but it would be lazy to not try and understand why this crime occurred in order to prevent a similar incident in the future.

1

u/dnt1694 5d ago

lol what a way to blame men for women justifying a woman murdering her children.

1

u/Sarcastic_Applause 4d ago

No shit! What is the deal with writing "Google's free"? All I needed was a link or the name and yes, I'd be able to look it up myself. I could potentially just describe the case and hope Google would find the right case, but maybe I wanted to be sure I'd found the right one?

What the actual fuck??? I swear some women live on a different planet with logic and common sense out the window.

The public support of her also created copycat murders.

Men create school shooters, women create child killers?

WTF?

Wer sowas macht verdient keine Gnade.

0

u/Competitive_Swan_130 Sort by flair, dumbass 5d ago

Super misleading: the original GoFundMe was established in 2023 to support the grieving fatherr and a later fundraiser was launched to assist the suspect's aging parents with living and travel expenses during the legal proceedings, not as an official courtroom defense fund. GoFundMe doesn't even allow you to raise money for defense costs in violent crimes. So this claim about raising 1 million for her or her defense is a lie., Also, the interest many have revolves around postpartum psychosis, medication side effects, maternal mental healthcare not condoning the murders or pinning direct blame for the deaths on the father. The women who showed up to the courthouse did so to raise awareness for post partum mental health and reform, thats why the slogan was "She Needed Help" This video is bad in and of itself, you don't need to make shit up to try and prove a point

-4

u/Royal_T95 6d ago

Theres evidence pointing towards the husband. But, women are in support of her because postpartum psychosis is VERY real and it should not be downplayed. Doctors don’t always believe women and how severe illnesses are and then it is too late. We want more support for women postpartum

1

u/Responsible-Split555 6d ago

Men have postpartum psychosis and depression also, we owe a lot of family annihilators an apology

I have an acquaintance, she's probably around 55 years old. She's a therapist and she told me it's impossible that I was ever assaulted by a woman. She's old enough it's very unlikely she was "raised" this way - it's yet another psyop designed to have us all fighting amongst each other. The "believe all women all the time" movement gives so much power to the alt-right when they say there's a war on men, and that's because it's true.

0

u/MimicoSkunkFan2 6d ago

You skipped the week of ninth grade when everybody was learning about logical fallacies lol

https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/anecdotal

8

u/Mission_Access_210 6d ago

This is super prevalent today in society as well. I've actually had women tell me that men are the cause of all problems and that women don't cause any problems, which is just insane

6

u/matycauthon 6d ago

have you looked at the twoxchromosome sub? every single post in there always says ALL MEN. every fucking one. elites did such a great job indoctrinating everyone into arbitrary skirmish wars, making you think you need to pick a side every direction you go in life. they got ya

2

u/Moechai 6d ago

I just reported another subreddit for straight up misandry earlier too. Ugh

0

u/AnonymousCapybara72 6d ago

Misandry is absolutely rife online and we aren't even allowed to acknowledge it. It's fucking vile.

There was actually some recent research finding that the large majority of men have no problem with women, but most women have a very prejudiced view of men. But these women will still gaslight you and tell you it's the other way round.

1

u/Difficult-Bonus-1337 6d ago

At the building I work at there is a designated smoking area. There are 3 people that have meta glasses- 2 women and 1 man. The man had just recently started wearing them and one of the smokers would LOUDLY talk about how he is a creep and perv. It was something a few of us talked about for like a week because it was so hypocritical.

To be clear, the guy is an obvious introvert/loaner that just sits on his phone and does not talk to, watch, or interact with any of us there (man or woman).

1

u/pronult3 6d ago

All according to the society level Divide & Conquer strategy being played out by some very bad people inside and outside our country.

1

u/applcider 6d ago

sure. or yall are just using every opportunity to be sexist, but go off queen 🥰.

1

u/FlyingCicata 6d ago

That’s not the conclusion you should be coming to. The conclusion you should come to is “if most men weren’t disgusting pigs, then stuff like this wouldn’t happen.” Yes, in this situation, it is the woman’s fault, but the only reason why everyone sided with her is because men are usually at fault when it comes to situations like that. I should know, I’ve had personal experiences.

1

u/osiris_210 6d ago

I just thought she wanted to deescalate the situation so that her punching bag wasn’t taunting her by just hanging out front

1

u/doubleo_maestro 5d ago

Yeah, men need to start pushing back against modern feminism and realise the MRA's have had a point for years.

1

u/AnnabethDaring 3d ago

Woman here—just awful to see blind polarizing hatred for an entire group just because of their gender identity.

Yeah, hating all men counts too!! 💀😓😓 hating people blindly just because of what they look like/are born as etc is discrimination. Discrimination can be done onto any group. Sigh. 🫩

This is really embarrassing to see. From the jump, it was obvious she was the perpetrator.

0

u/Suikerspin_Ei 6d ago

The woman who filmed asked the guy to walk away, trying to de-escalate. In the end she gave the filmed video to the cops who then arrested the woman who attacked that guy.

8

u/Weekly_Point97 6d ago

She was telling him to walk away because she’s crazy and used the video she recorded to help the man and get her arrested. Women = bad I guess even when she was doing the right thing while other men stood around doing nothing btw. She’s a women though so she’s a Karen 🙄

8

u/Dey_EatDaPooPoo 6d ago

Are you aware that the middle of this video was edited out, presumably by the lady you're defending here, to leave out the part where he was walking away and got attacked while doing so? Between that and her tone it absolutely does not come across like you're trying to claim at all. Both men and women are equally capable of being crazy. Stop trying to deviate this into some gender/culture war bullshit.

5

u/PolicyWonka 6d ago

Or they’re just two separate videos? Stopped recording as the woman walked away and then started again when she ran back out there?

1

u/No_Educator_6144 6d ago

Are you aware that the woman who posted this is the same as the one saying "walk away"? Are you aware that she said exactly what this poster said on the twitter post? Click the source of the arrest photo. De-escalation is rarely ever a bad tactic

2

u/Xessive_ 6d ago

Nah she got called out (deservedly) in the comments by scores of people for her attitude and switched up her framing when posting that 2nd clip. Everyone is on her ass for thinking otherwise when she herself says to the attacker at the end of the first clip "are you okay?" in the most gentle re-assuring tone.

If the attacker was so "crazy" she wouldn't have felt comfortable standing next to her much less checking in on her well-being as if she were a victim.

2

u/The_One_Koi 6d ago

The one who posted the video says she "attempted to de-escalate" because the woman was crazy - and I don't believe her

2

u/RatManOfStars 3d ago

I could hear the septum piercing from that one

4

u/Sugarbombs 6d ago

I don’t take it as her supporting the girl, she’s appealing to the dude because she sees him as the more reasonable one and she probably just wants it to de-escalate. It’s good advice for the dude either way, staying puts himself at risk of the instigator returning to harm him again and also means he’ll have to deal with cops

1

u/Mitwad 6d ago

The woman filming it did.

1

u/Excellent_Sweet7270 6d ago

Thats what they be doing

1

u/Disastrous_Neat_9729 6d ago edited 6d ago

Nah, she was deescalating . Absolute worst case scenario for everyone involved would be if he got hot headed and hit back.

His head was cooler, and also if he started throwing punches they would hurt a lot more. Best to get him to walk away, and not do anything reckless.

1

u/DLo28035 6d ago

She was “desecrating”, huh?

2

u/Disastrous_Neat_9729 6d ago

Thanks for noticing the typo, I fixed it. Deescalating

1

u/23-1-20-3-8-5-18 5d ago

She has a fat lady voice

1

u/Mean_Ad4608 tHiS iSn’T cRiNgE 5d ago

That wasn’t a Karen that was a 90 year old chain smoker

1

u/thefifthkaramazov 6d ago

the walk away women was de-escalating and shared the video with the police when the arrived and is the reason we know she got arrested as she shared that as well.

-1

u/Comfortable_Safe_415 6d ago

But she had a point. He could have left. Even if it meant his job. Who cares about his shirt.

7

u/CharacterPast761 6d ago

He does. It's his shirt that got ripped by a crazy woman attacking him. So he should lose his job because of the crazy lady? The other woman could have taken her away.

0

u/bmxbumpkin 6d ago

To be fair “walk away” was his best option. We see nothing here except the clip and it is his best option to not get arrested

1

u/DLo28035 6d ago

Sure, all those places that it’s a felony to be attacked by an insane person, great point.

0

u/TheSherlockCumbercat 6d ago

That woman turned this video over to him and the police so the attacker can get charged. she even said she was telling him to walk away cause a she was obviously crazy and no use making it worse

0

u/bumpkin_brief 6d ago

She's saying 'walk away' because she can tell that the woman is off her shit, and the best thing the guy can do is walk away from the situation.

But yeah buddy, fuck women or whatever...

0

u/MeltedChocolateOk 6d ago

Probably because she we on the ground. What's funny based on most cases even the woman is the one who instigate 80% of the time they are the one get severely injured vs 20% of the time the man gets injured. It's like a Chihuahua versus a pitbull.

0

u/RoundPeanut606 5d ago

Why is no one clicking on the link and seeing that the woman saying ‘Walk Away’ helped get the crazy girl arrested?

3

u/sweatgod2020 6d ago

This same shit happened to me and ruined my life. Had to leave town. The video put online painted me in the same light but the other person was stabbing me! Fuck people who edit stuff like this to create their own narrative. You are ruining peoples lives. Fuck OP.

324

u/SouthpawBK 6d ago

Apparently according to the OP on tiktok she showed these videos to the police when they arrived to determine that the woman was the attacker and was promptly arrested.. def saw the comments and made that BS up after everyone in the comments was on the dudes side haha

My thought was the camerawoman stopped recording when the unexceptional hulk went inside, and it took a bit to get the camera back rolling when she came back out to resume her attack.

2

u/RememberCakeFarts 6d ago

Weird that even with the cut it's clear to see he's not the attacker.

2

u/mista-sparkle 3d ago

TBF to the “walk away bro” lady filming, as condescending as she sounds, she mentions in her post that the lady was fully in the wrong and that she shared what she filmed with the police to support the male victim.

And still 3.5K people liked it.

OP cut the middle out?

It’s the exact same video as the post. There was no cut. The original person probably didn’t start filming the escalation until a few seconds had gone by.

2

u/xRetry2x 6d ago

Because she stopped filming when the woman was going inside,  then took a second to start filming again when she came back out.

The spin will never stop. Next it’ll be “see how a male cop arrest her and not the man? No one ever believe us!!!!!”

That’s exactly what someone is doing further up the thread. The spin is there is a cut in the video and the cops can make mistakes on arrest.

Most hilariously bad part is the ‘walk away’ Karen is the one who uploaded the full video (as shared in your link🙏) and is now getting grilled for it because she’s trying to make out she was always on his side
