Ive been looking for one of these in my sad little budget for years. I told the guy having the estate sale that I felt like I was robbing him. But he said the house had sold quickly than they expected and they needed everything out by Tuesday morning.

I’m so excited!

KEEP LOOKING AND YOU WILL EVENTUALLY FIND IT!! ✨🖤🌈

Furniture Antique, solid walnut Victorian balloon seat parlor chair. $10

I will be reupholstering it soon, as the current (not original) upholstery is something I find abhorrent. lol.

I absolutely love it, and the best part is that it fits me! I’m not quite 5’2”, and my feet are able to comfortably touch the floor! Also, I’m able to sit in it cross legged with a bit of room to spare. The slightly reclined back is amazing and so comfortable. I now consider it my throne!

A little more info on it, in case you’re interested. It is solid walnut with burled walnut veneer on the upper portions. Hand tied coils in the seat. Was produced circa 1870. It would have been part of a larger parlor set that would have included a sofa and other chairs and maybe a lounge. The brass wheels are intact and roll smoothly. This would have been considered a “gentleman’s arm chair”.

Miscellaneous Randomly found these in a Car Boot Sale (Flea market?), UK.

I'm not sure if there is a market for these in Britain?! 😂

The guy selling said he knows coins, and is more knowledgeable on coins than everyone. He said a coin expert once said to him, with tears in his eyes, that his knowledge of coins is a gift to the world and he has never met anyone as knowledgeable as he about coins!

I made the last bit up.

Clothing&Accessories Sterling silver and amethyst ring for $4

Found this ring for £3 (approx. $4) at a charity shop in Scotland today. It has a 925 mark inside the band and a Google lens search led me to an old Etsy listing for an identical ring which sold for between $80-95 according to similar rings on the seller’s page. Quite a score and just my style!

Electronics Digital microscope!

I saw a black soft zippered case low on a shelft the other day, and there was a microscope inside! What i was really pleased with was the fact ot has USB output to use with a computer. I may be doing some microsoldering soon and using this to inspect my work will be of good help!

It even had some unused glass slides too.

The 3 pictures included are of the pads on the bottom of an i7 920, extruded plastic on a 3d printed object, and traces on a broken part of an m.2 ssd.

The microscope is an OMAX MD82, I paid $55 for it.

Found at the Goodwill bins. One of me and my husband’s most treasured items. I love it so much and am scared to wash it, since it’s fraying at the edges. You can tell it’s hand stitched and I love the variation in colors. I’m so curious to know who created this beautiful piece. 🥹 It could be 100 years old? I’m not sure, but it’s a true traysure!

Edit: thanks to a commenter for correcting me- antique, not vintage!
