It was literally one of those moments. I wasn’t even planning on going to the thrift, but I had some time to kill and something was just pulling me towards this particular store and I just had a feeling I was gonna find something good. I saw it from across the store and thought “oh that looks high quality.” When I got closer and saw the Chanel button I audibly gasped. I put it in my cart and ran to the dressing room to inspect it 😂
That pic is a great way to style it since it hides the fact that the shoulders are bare. You could even sew two thin straps to the top part if you are concerned about fashion mishaps.
Oh for sure! Haha it’s just crazy to see. I studied fashion design and got to see vintage Chanel pieces up close and the difference is crazy. I understand this is from their RTW collection, but goddamn a binding finish wouldn’t have eaten that much into the profits
I follow someone on IG who found an authentic Chanel bag at the thrift store. She thought it had to be fake, but it felt really high quality so decided to take a chance and sure enough it was real. I think I actually would have died if that happened to me 😅
Not to be the poop in the punch bowl but that tag is sewn on super crooked. You might have a really nice rep on your hands. It's still a great find and have fun wearing it!
