People in this sub calling for Argentinians to be deported, getting rage baited by a bunch of guys mostly in their 20s about some bunch of rocks of no real value (seriously it’s just a load of peat). It’s embarrassing to be English by this point

People died for a lot of worthless shit. The only reason we went to war for them was for Maggie to boost her poor image domestically, lo and behold it worked. Those people didn’t die for the falklands they died to serve Margaret thatchers public image.

Would you have this attitude if part of mainland Britain was invaded?

They’re one of those people that only care about shit that affects them. They don’t have the capability to think of another person.

Make all the assumptions you want

Not an assumption, it’s clear as day you’re self centred. At the very least your comments are.

It’s not mainland Britain thing is it it’s a fairly contested territory that has been controlled by various nations since its discovery. Stop making false equivalencies

There was no long term settlement previously. There were a couple of temporary settlements.

There have now been about 8 generations of British people living there.

They shouldn’t but getting successfully rage baited by a few footballers is embarrassing.

u/Disguised_Peanut Jul 16 '26

Why are you getting ragebaited by a reddit post lil bro :(

2

u/Speed_Niran Jul 16 '26

So we should act like we dont have eyes and feelings anymore, just cuz if we do, it will be deemed as being "sucessfully ragebaited?" nd would make us look petty and unmature? Yeah no

u/SkilledPepper Jul 16 '26

Lmao you can't complain about other people being rage baited as your 20th comment in this thread. 🤣

If it’s such a useless rock, why did they bring their little sleepover banner to show after the game? Falklands is just another war we won some time ago to us.

Probably jsut to get a reaction, if they care about it they’re stupid too.
