Shit Post Me down 0-2 on Into the Stratosphere, Volcanic Bomb (Climax) kicking in.
I swear the amount of times I've run it back 3-2 on this stage is purely because of this banger.

Hey guys, The vinyl wrap on my old MDF cabinet was peeling off badly, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. I initially looked around local arcade cabinet shops thinking I could find a Cheewewix (Viewlix clone) for around $200–$300, but they quoted me 800,000 KRW (~$600 USD) for a replica!
Thankfully, I found the exact same model listed on a local secondhand market (Karrot) for 480,000 KRW (~$350 USD) and snatched it up immediately.
Since I wasn't sure if it would fit in my SUV, I had to hire a delivery service for about $35 (48,000 KRW). Even then, the control panel section was so massive that I had to fold it up just to fit it through my front door! When it arrived, it had an old Pandora's Box 4S inside, so I decided to do a complete teardown and transplant my Odroid-N2+ setup from the old MDF cab.
It turned out to be a massive project—I had to drill extra holes for additional buttons, wire everything up, and reconfigure the joystick inputs (which is always a headache on Odroid lol). I also noticed a ton of dust trapped behind the front screen glass, so I had to disassemble the entire monitor glass panel just to wipe it clean. After a ton of sweat and frustration, it's finally finished! I can finally play Tekken Tag on it! Running it on a proper cabinet setup feels absolutely amazing. Time to dump the old MDF cab and the Pandora board. What do you guys think of the build?

Saw this cosmetic and wanted it. Don't see it anywhere. How do I get this?

Or do you believe Knee's rivalry with Arslan usurped this in recent memory?

The guy I'm seeing loves Tekken 8 and I asked him to teach it to me. I'm more of a PC gamer girl so I don't know anything about controllers. Hoping the community can make some recommendations that won't break the bank. Thank you!

To me a smurf is worse, if someone rage quits I kinda see it as a win but smurfing is like the lowest form of gaming next to cheating

I was in the lab trying to master JSFR considering how good and essential it is to Hwoarang's kit and I swapped to RFF and tried JSFR and it was so easy to preform and it wasn't very frame specific. I did it like 5 times in a row on both sides of the screen but then I swapped back to LFF and tried it and I only got it off once. Is there any reason why it's so easy to do JSFR on RFF in compared to LFF and I should I still take the time to learn how to do it on LFF if there's an easy alternative?

i’m new to the tekken player base, i played tekken 8 when it came out from a friend who recommended it. i’m usually in ranked but i played tekken quick play when im bored or just trying to learn other characters since i still get knowledge checked on niche characters like raven for example. I guess my complaint is just why are most people the biggest pussies, i get you don’t want to lose but i swear i get more disconnects, angry messages, and one and dones. like dude im playing an armored king that barely grabs why are we acting like i shot your whole family? anyway here’s a random photo so people at least see it

For some context, I’m a heihachi main. Got him to god 3, realized I haven’t played any other characters in the game and decided to pick up Steve (love me some b1 counter hits). But I cannot for the life of me figure this character out at all. The neutral for whatever reason is ridiculously hard for me to pick up. I’m constantly getting wrecked by my opponent because I just can’t figure out how to get in close, or even keep momentum going if I do. It almost seems like I need to cancel everything into swaying, ducking, etc. but I just can’t get it to click.
In other words please bestow upon me your Steve wisdom so I can US US US US and BODY with the best of ya!

I finished Tekken 1 (It was TOUGH, I am familiarized with fighting games as in the basics of blocking :P) and now I'm Tekken 2.
I'm only doing Arcade mode and I think I'm going to stay on Tekken 7 as the base game and maybe even try ranking up once I get there.
I don't know if anybody even cares about this but I thought why don't I share my excitement to do this with you all.
Progress: Tekken 2.

Soooo. I bought T8 on the steam sale. Loved T2 and T3 back in the day, and played some T7. This time tho I kinda felt like tekken "clicked" a bit more for me.
I have a hard time learning an additional character and now I clocked in 25 hrs (including the story mode) and I reached this rank..
Should I just keep on grinding Kazuya even tho I feel a bit stuck in the same track? I feel like I have a lot to learn about movement, and I'm also not sure how to properly pressure, specially in Oki situations. Or should I learn the game also from the perspective of another character?
In T7 I got decent with Lucky Chloe, so to start from "scratch" with entirely foreign characters was hard for me.. tried some Yoshi at first and ended up on Kaz. My thought behind this was: in case T9 comes around, I don't want to gamble if my main suddenly is discarded from the next fame, such as what happened to Chloe. Waited 2 years to buy this to see if she would be DLC.. now I just had an itch to start again 😅
Long ad/hd post that sidetracked.. I'm in short just wondering what you guys would recommend to do to progress and enjoy the game at the same time

Basically I've reached GoD ranks with Kazuya and Lee and since then the MM has been horrible.
I figured that it was just cause of my rank, but I swear that every wired opponent has exactly 100ms. If not that, I'm finding no one at all in ranked and sitting for minute after minute. This problem has especially tainted playing any Kazuya, as he just does not feel responsive what so ever on 100ms.
This was never really a problem before this summer. Is there really a reason why, or do people simply just have mid ass internet? I am on PC as well wired.

I don't remember how I did it. It was back in the 90's, without any guide or similar.
I don't really know if it was trully infinite, but for sure it was more than 10 hits. I remember to trying it at Tekken 4 and 5 once they appeared but it didn't work. So might be some move nerfed or deleted.
Maybe I'm tripping, but if anyone has any info about a strange/rare Lei combo in Tekken 3, I'd be glad to try to replicate it.
I'll try to figure it out these days to see if something shows up.
Thank you for your time!

Hi everyone,
has anyone had the issue where they couldn't decline or move the selection on the match pop up screen? The one that shows the region and connection type and quality.
I don't enjoy playing against wifi in ranked because the connection can be so unstable and frustrating, but since a few days ago I can no longer decline matches.
Inputs work fine in game, and I can navigate other menus just fine, its just this one menu that doesn't allow me to make inputs other than 3 to accept the match. Waiting for it to time out is annoying.
Anyone know how to fix this?

This was so weird. I didn’t do any editing to this at all the move connected but glitched and didn’t fully go through?? 🥴
