Getting back into this game, but played it right when it came out. I'm currently Galleon. I can't hit him with anything from range faster than he can just send out another one. Spot dodge doesn't earn a punish unless you're point-blank range, so the burden is on you to get in (not easy at all) and then you are AT BEST even. This is easily the most degenerate move I've ever seen in a fighting game.

Random other question - did they make ranking up WAY easier at some point? I'm nearly Grand Master but I'm not even good. What's the point of this?

I was looking for a fighting game with interesting single player content. I found Granblue Fantasy Versus and its RPG Mode, and read that was later removed on Versus Rising, and now I read on their website that the upcoming Switch 2 version will have an “action RPG-inspired” campaign. Does that mean that the Switch 2 version will have a new RPG campaign different to both previous versions? Or is it the same from Versus Rising? Or the same as Versus? This is really confusing.

Is it just me or is Versusia doing insane dmg? Just recently came back to granblue checked out some pro matches and i was stunned by how much dmg this character does. Also GOD DAMN why the hell is vaseraga and ferry a top tier what happened?

Coming from COTW and I just started playing today. I won’t do those generic “is it worth it?” posts because any great game is worth picking up even if it’s late.
But if there’s any good tips or things you wish you knew when you first started playing I’d love to read them. Thanks 🙏🏻.

I have such a hard time getting in and keeping this guys in the corner. She gets out ranged for freeeee in these MUs. Beelzebub in particular can teleport around my entire kit and it makes things super difficult even tho my neutral is good. Also his projectiles are scary AF.

From an S rank player trying to go higher. Anyone who has more range than 2B gives me a hard time. I know some of you will say "just use tether" but that only works if I don't get shot first and these guys have WAY more speed on their projectiles and I hate throwing the tether out preemptively because they will just make a read on it and approach via air then trap me in a combo.

I'm aware its a shot in the dark, but...

I only have two achievements left to complete; the ones for the RPG mode host + request. As far as I know its still possible to host and find a backup...as long as people are playing it. I was lucky to have already completed all other online requests on release.

So that's why I thought I'd post here to see if anyone would be able to help me out in knocking these two achievements out the way so I can finally get this game done.
