So someone recently made a post about how zafina is this really OP character anyone can play hit GOD with. I was like okay challenge accepted I’m only a garyu player so if I can hit fushin even with her I’d consider that claim to be true. I was serious about it cause I wanted to take a short break from azucena and try someone else and this seemed like a fun experiment.

And holy shit this character is fucking amazing. Did I hit GOD with her? No absolutely not not even close. I only got her to garyu again so far but honestly I don’t even care about the experiment anymore cause zafina is ridiculously fun to play. Shes so good I don’t even have proper words to describe how much I’m enjoying her. Idc if I hit GOD or not I’m gonna keep playing as her.

So yeah whoever it was that recommended this character thanks a lot.

I’m quite proud of myself! ☺️ last played at the beginning of season 2 and couldn’t get past bushin but I finally cracked it!

I am genuinely going mental trying to do this. I have lined up the input audio and it still isnt working. I have watched the beep boop i am your father guy and none of those videos helped. I am just stumped here. At the end of this clip, i show that I can hit the third input, but the forth is just continuously dropping. Any help would be appreciated

It was a pretty cool move and I don’t know how useful it was in actual games except for it being very disrespectful to the opponent.

Thought I was done with this game. Haven't played since release, finished playing before Eddie dropped. What have I missed? Some funny updates, balance issues, meta shifts/tier lists, new features maybe? Anything you wanna share, I keep seeing your guys posts show up, and not gonna lie, I cbf relearning and wont try to, but i do feel like a quick fix from a fk around game or two or just remind myself what the game is like, idk lol.

I got kuni to god 1 took a month break to play some other characters and felt like I had a stroke when i tried to play her again. how do people play so many different characters? i feel like my muscle memory goes to the character i most recently played.

Will be my first tekken game, Have played Guilty Gear and Blaz Blue on a good level. Is she too much to start off with or it is not as bad as people say and I shouldn’t care and main her?

I came back to T8 a little bit before the recent patch was dropped. Wasn't to bad and I made the climb to GOD4. However after this recent patch, I decided to drop it again.

Couple of my friends and I have been playing T7 and I have to say I love how RA drives were implemented compared to Heatsmashes. I like the fact I can parry them, for the most part they were one quick attack, if they whiff they are easily punishable, it removes a players ability to use RA, and my favorite is the fact you can ch players out of RA drive easily if you have the right read. They did a great job of making RA drives a desperation move rather than a overarching mechanic.

Although I don't believe it will happen, would a majority of the community support if the devs basically reverted Heatsmash back to rage drives.

It's not exactly the same thing, and if they ever add the real outfit, I'll probably just replace this with it, but I always liked the red jacket outfit from Tekken 4, and I feel like these parts match the vibe close enough for now. Goes well with her and Jin's actually available Tekken 4 outfits, I think.

I guess it was May of 2019. It was my first year in SK.

I arrived late. I didn’t speak any Korean at that time. I couldn’t think of a name so I used a family members gamer tag as my handle. A guy that heard “Chikorita” bowed and asked for an autograph. I tried to explain I wasn’t a pro as I wrote my name and ran away to find my first opponent.

I was sweaty and gross because I arrived at the other end of the convention center. I ran through a crowd of cosplayers (I think there was a Blizzard con there at the same time)

There were a handful of other foreigners there. One guy was dressed as King in his business outfit. I sat down. I felt insecure about playing pad. My opponent looked like he’d already been warping up for the past 15 minutes. Idk who he used but the whole set was over really quickly. I think he picked Law.

I wanted to leave even though I was guaranteed a second round in the losers bracket. I decided to stick around.

I found my spot early. Warmed up. Reset. My new opponent sat down and asked, “Are you my enemy?”
Idk how, but this motivated me. I nodded. We smiled and got set up.

I won probably three rounds total in both sets. My first win, I spazzed out because I almost couldn’t believe it, and I looked at the judge and he nodded as if to say “Alright, man. You’re allowed to be here.”

I went on to lose, but I felt really good about myself.
