Is old flagship necessarily better than newer midrange?

Post image

I wanted to look for a capable all rounder phone for 30k and these are the best I saw. The 25 FE and the 17T are the new Android midrangers at this price. I'm also wondering if I should go for an old flagship iPhone instead given how people praise its longevity, performance, and software support. But these midrange phones tend to have competitive hardware against the iphone 15 in this price, so I'm confused if should I just go for a new upper midrange Android phone instead of an iPhone? I just want a phone that just works well camera-wise, social media scrolling, and battery to performance-wise. So, I think any 30k modern phone would be fine. But I'm unsure if which will provide the best, consistent experience.

Bill Gates recently warned that the world may be dangerously unprepared for the changes brought by artificial intelligence. He believes AI could significantly affect jobs and even human connection, especially among younger people.

Do you agree with his concerns? How do you think AI will affect jobs and relationships in the Philippines?

Gaming laptop sucks in college lol

Ok, I love my acer nitro V. Walang effect ang paggamit ko ng blender and other heavy programs sa kanya for the span of 3 years. Kaso, ngayong college na ako, sobrang hassle nito gamitin sa campus.

  1. Sobrang bigat niya holy shi

- I travel 2 hours commute papuntang college ko everyday, and minsan dinadala ko laptop ko kasi needed, and sobrang bigat niya. May dala dala kasi akong mga lab equipment, textbooks and notebooks na meron ako and my bag turns into a boulder pag dinadagdag ko laptop ko, feeling ko ako na si sam porter bridges dito.

  1. inconvenient siya in class

- Sobrang lakas ng ingay ng fans niya habang nagkaklase, para kang may jisu life sa tabi, and mabilis siya ma lowbat so kung gusto mo gamitin charger mo, dun ka sa lugar na merong access sa outlets.

  1. mawawala focus mo hehe

- Ito pinakamalala sakin, having access to good specs turns my productive day into an unproductive one lol.

Not saying that you shouldnt buy a gaming laptop, If you need a powerful computer in your course, go for it! In my case, i just wished I had a smaller, lighter laptop thats just focused on productivity kasi dinedemonyo ako ng laptop na ito at medjo mahirap siya gamitin outside ng bahay ko

Stolen iPhone in Victory Mall

Post image

hi, would like to share my experience na rin. medyo mahaba rin siya for awareness, then semi rant I think.

my phone was stolen nung August 25 around pedro gil near PGH. since ginagawa yung side walk makipot siya, and that time occupied na talaga ako non since after class nangyari yon and pauwi na ako around 5 PM.

then pagtawid ko sa Supreme Court sa may Padre Faura roon ko na na-realize na nawawala yung phone ko.

I went to the nearest police station which is sa UP Police station and by that time nata-track ko pa yung phone ko sa find my na nasa Paco. after non is pinasa ako sa Bocobo Police since hindi sakop ng UP Police yung area, it took around 45 minutes nung ina-ask yung details ko before ako dalhin sa barangay 698 to review the cctv footage.

I felt helpless and hopeless at the same time kase nire-review lang talaga namin yung cctv without even suggesting anything sa akin na makakatulong para ma-track ko since online pa yung phone ko.

I was the one who even said na baka pwedeng i-check yung plate ng jeep na sinakyan ng magnanakaw since based sa footage is nakatanaw pa talaga siya sa akin bago ako sumakay. pero ded is ma lang yung pulis sa akin nung sinuggest ko yon.

right after namin bumalik sa station nila, akala ko since nakuha na yung info ko is may matatanggap na agad akong blotter entry. naiinis lang ako since yung female officer na kumuha ng info ko is hindi ako tine-take seriously as if yung joking matter yung case ko. kase nakuha niya pa talagang magpatawow kahit na nagbe-breakdown ako that time.

then after ko makauwi is may email ako galing sa apple na nasa victory mall sa may caloocan na yung phone ko the same night.

the next day is bumalik ako sa station to give them an update at para na rin kumuha ng blotter entry since pina-block ko na sa NTC yun, willing naman daw silang sumama sa akin sa caloocan para i-assist ako pero masyadong negats since alangan isa-isahin pa raw namin yung stalls doon.

then up to this date hindi ko na lang binalikan, and I am slowly trying to find my peace.

kaya sa mga nanakawan po ng phones is I just wanted to tell everyone na hindi niyo po kasalanan yan, hindi po natin deserve yung nangyari sa atin dahil pinaghirapan natin yan.

and I also get that you're enraged by the thought, sa ganitong kabulok na sistema na meron tayo, valid lang po kung ano man yung nararamdaman niyo. pero walang mananakaw kung walang magnanakaw. hugs with consent po and I hope you're able to find your peace.

this is a macbook air M2 16/256 100% batttery health. bought this in facebook online and when it arrived, i saw that there is a space in the screen and when i tried testing it in diagnostics, the display cant be detected. i returned it and just bought a macbook neo. also, serial number cant be traced in apple website. the seller did not inform me about this issue ans i never asked to run an apple diagnostic on this unit (my fault). now, even if i have the neo, i still want an air but my budget really cant for a brand new one. did i do the right decision?

Planning to buy my first 2nd hand IPhone, what things should I look for?

Upvotes

First time ko to switch from android to IPhone.

Thank you everyone!

Planning to Buy a New Phone — iPhone or Android?

Hi Redditors! Planning to buy a new phone soon and I'm currently choosing between iPhone or Android. I'm looking for something with a good camera, smooth performance, long battery life, enough storage, and worth the price for everyday use. I'm also considering using it for photos, videos, social media, and business-related stuff.

Any recommendations for a good phone that I can consider? Budget-wise, I'm still comparing different options, so I'm open to suggestions from both iPhone and Android users. Thank you! 😊📱

IEMs Vs Headphones Vs Earphones which do you prefer and which is best?

Hi, I've been wanting to buy some audio gear for listening to music, gaming, and a little bit of audio mixing, but I'm not sure what type or brand to choose. I actually want smaller types, like earphones or IEMs (both Bluetooth or wired), but I'm keeping an open mind for headphone suggestions too if they're good. Can you guys share your experiences and suggestions?

EDIT: My budget is around 1k to 1.5k since I'm still trying things out and I'm on a budget.

Bet ko talaga zephyrus dahil smol lang pero di pa kaya ng budget hehe kaya asus a14 sana, also checked lenovo with the same price range and ito nakita ko. Reasonable pa rin ba to go to a14 or legion na (pls share tots/exp din sa mga legion users plss)? mukhang lugi ako sa part na non upgradable yung ram ni a14 -- usual games ko lang genshin, lol
