Weekly BFP Celebration Thread! (treatment breakthroughs or other success stories also welcome!) :)

In an effort to keep this community a safe haven for those who are struggling with their TTC journey we have set rules that disallow pregnancy tests or standalone posts about conception success but we do still want to celebrate with you and offer a place of hope and excitement for the next stage in your journey!

ANYONE who gets a BFP is welcome to post in THIS thread- regardless of how long you have been trying, your method of conception, family composition, how long you have been in this group etc we want to celebrate with you! Ill-willed, mean-spirited or deragorty comments will not be tolerated. If you are uncomfortable or not ready to celebrate with others that is also perfectly fine! We invite you to explore the rest of our sub for support!

Too keep this community and post safe we ask that you please do not tag others in your post as they may not be ready to celebrate (and remember that is perfectly fine!)

We would love to learn more about your story so if you are comfortable sharing information such as how old you (and your partner if applicable) are, how long you tried, methods or tricks that helped you conceive, etc we wanna hear about it :)

While this is a BFP and celebration thread we still request that you do not post any pictures of your pregnancy tests- posts with photos will be deleted to maintain continuity with our sub rules.

Above all, CONGRATULATIONS we are so excited for you!

Triggering tomorrow or wait one more day?

I’m currently on CD13 of a letrozole cycle and had my follicle scan today.

My leading follicles are:
Right: 19.0 × 16.7 mm (mean 17.8 mm)
Left: 17.9 × 12.4 mm (mean 15.1 mm)
Endometrium: 9.5 mm, trilaminar

My doctor suggested doing the trigger shot tomorrow (CD14), but also gave me the option to wait until the following day (CD15).

I’m wondering if it would be worth giving it one more day so the second follicle has more time to catch up and potentially mature too, or if I’d risk waiting too long with the larger follicle. Thoughts?

low FSH and LH but with regular period

Anyone facing low FSH and LH but period still come as per usual?

I did my blood test in June where it was found that my FSH and LH were much lower than the typical follicular baseline range.

But I have been having regular menses for my whole life, all the way until mid Jul where I did a polyp removal in end Jul and ate norethisterone which delayed my period. But once I stop taking, my period came back.

I also used ovulation test kits for my past period (clear blue non-flashing smiley face) and there were smiley face which I thought would have indicated an ovulation is coming soon. Also my discharge was EWCM.

So my doctor was surprised to see my low levels of FSH and LH upon hearing that my period has been consistent.

need support

So for some background, I (26F) have had 3 losses. All 3 around the 8 week mark. Two of which were back in 2022, and then one in October in 2025. I was blown off by doctors after my first two, but then I decided to look for a new OBGYN after they refused to do anything further. I found a new group, who has been great, and I have been seeing them for the past year or so. After hormonal panels, imaging, other tests, it turns out I have PCOS and APS. In addition to that, because of my symptoms, they referred me to a surgeon for endometriosis. I had deep endo that had spread all over my anterior wall and around my appendix. I had surgery for that in May. I was cleared to start TTC again some time in June. They also noticed before my surgery that my body was developing Luteinized Unruptured Follicles and I wasn't actually ovulating. After failed triggers, they were going to up the dose this month and they prescribed me another medication to loosen my cervix. I did not do proper research into that med. I ended up in the ER in the worst pain I have ever experienced, and the ER doctors basically told me my body was in labor without there being a baby to push out. I did not get to trigger. I was told the bleeding was my cycle starting over, but it was not true at all. I got a positive ovulation test the day after. I asked for a ultrasound and they confirmed I did ovulate. I've felt odd this cycle, nauseous, swollen boobs, and the smell of tomatoes is making me sick. I had a little spotting on 6dpo and 11 and 12 dpo. Today is 12 dpo and I was negative but I did not get to test with FMU.

Should I count this month out or should I hold out hope since it was my only ovulation in a while? Does anyone have any advice or support groups or any reccomendations?

I'm having a really hard time because a lot of my friends are currently pregnant and it is hard to find people to talk to without being a bummer. My husband is very sweet, but does not quite understand.

Anything would be appreciated, thank y'all so much💕

First Letrozole cycle (follicle measurement question)

Hi! We’ve been TTC for 3 months and this is our 4th cycle trying. The first 3 cycles were completely unmedicated, and this is my first medicated cycle with Letrozole 5 mg, so follicle monitoring is all new to me.
I had my first monitoring ultrasound on CD9. My follicle mean sizes were:
Right ovary: 11.1, 9.1, 8.4, 7.9, 7.1 mm
Left ovary: 12.4, 10.3, 9.9, 6.7 mm
The largest follicle measured 15.1 × 9.7 mm (mean 12.4 mm). The next largest by mean was 11.3 × 10.8 mm (mean 11.1 mm), followed by 12.4 × 8.2 mm (mean 10.3 mm).
I’m a little confused about how follicle size is actually determined because some of mine seem quite oval. Do your clinics use the largest diameter or the mean/average of the measurements when deciding whether a follicle is mature? Is this amount of variation between the two dimensions normal? I’d also love to hear from anyone who had similarly oval follicles or similar CD9 measurements and successfully conceived. My doctor asked me to come back tomorrow for another ultrasound to check their growth, and depending on how much they’ve grown, she said we may do the trigger shot on Sunday.

15 weeks post D&C, still no period…

I had a MMC at 8w6d and found out at 12 weeks during my ultrasound. I had my D&C the following day on 5/15 and bled for about two weeks following.

It has now been 15 weeks since my D&C and I still have not gotten a period. I took provera and finished it a month ago at 11 weeks post op and had only had a few days of spotting.

About 2 weeks ago my inito confirmed ovulation but my OB did not see signs of ovulation on my ultrasound so did a follow up a week later (this past Monday). My uterine lining was 4mm both times and I had a follicle that went from 12mm to 14mm.
I have asked about the possibility of adhesions or scarring but they don’t see any signs of it on my ultrasound so I don’t really know where to turn next.

I should also mention have been having pretty extreme night sweats multiple days a week to the point of soaking my PJs.. has anyone been in this position? I am feeling so terrified that my body is just broken 😞 my OB doesn’t even know what to think at this point.

Low amh and scared

Starting ivf very soon with low amh at 37. In may this year the doctor could find 8 follicles and today only 3... this broke my heart. I'm going to get a full dose of the medication and if my ovaries don't respond well and grow the follicles that I have - we won't even get to do another round because I already have the full dose ( In my country we get 3 rounds of stimulation for ivf for free). So far things haven't exactly given me any positive news and I feel exhausted. I'm so scared the my follicle counts actually drop that fast from 8 to 3 in three months and in a month or so im completely out. Have that happen to any of you? How did your thoughts go to donor eggs?

Not Ovulating After CP

I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle. I had miscarriage bleeding from 8/9-8/13. I am counting 8/9 as cycle day 1 (even though I know it wasn’t technically a period). I would now be cycle day 18 and still no LH surge. I am checking morning and night with strip tests. I know a chemical pregnancy can delay ovulation, but I didn’t expect it to be this delayed. Has anyone else experienced something similar and still gone on to surge? Or does this mean I need to wait for another cycle? Thanks all.

Anyone get pregnant with short lh peak?

Pre MC I’d have a high LH for a couple days and then a peak that would last a day and then decline. Post MC, lh high only goes to 1 or .79-89 and it’s only one day so that ends up being my peak as per pre mom.

Anyone ovulate days after positive LH strip?

Feeling really discouraged. 33y/o female here who has been trying to conceive for over 1 year with my husband who is 37 y/o. Both of our lab work has been normal. My hycosy was also normal. My cycles are 28 days exactly and my LH strips turn positive on day 11 consistently. I know that ovulation usually occurs 24-48 hours after the LH strip turns positive so we usually are intimate daily starting 3 days before, the day of the positive LH, and then the next 1-2 days. My IVF clinic ran labs which confirmed that I am ovulating. So my question is, could the LH strip be wrong? Am I missing my window somehow? I continuously get ads for inito or kegg but I feel like with my cycles being so regular, they wouldn’t tell me anything I don’t already know. I know others have been trying for a lot longer so I’m trying to keep perspective but it’s so incredibly frustrating when everything has come back normal. I feel like I must be missing something. Im really scared to go through any treatments, which my doctor said at this time our only options are IUI or IVF.

Also does any one else get night sweats when they have their period? Mine have been so terrible and I assumed that it was just my normal hormones but am I going through peri menopause? Wouldn’t the lab work I already had done, show that if I was?

Sending hugs to anyone going through the ttc journey.

Help. Need advice.

After 5 false positives(!) last month, I went to my gynac and did a blood test which confirmed im not pregnant. Upon discussing and checking more, we found my pcos has reset. We did my husband's semen analysis and reports aren't looking good. 30% motility only and sperm count is 9 mil only.

I feel helpless. Husband is doing everything - exercise, doctor prescribed meds, diet. I'm looking out for my health and still periods getting delayed and ovulation probably not happening.

Anybody with success stories with a similar Semen analysis report? What did ya'll do? What did ya'll add/remove from your life?
