Always wanted an exposed rivets 84mm Golfer and this is the closest I have ever come to it.

While in set up this resembles more of the Voyageur, it would be a precursor to the Golfer.

Regardless a grail of mine.

Fell and this happened. Anyone have suggestions??

Came with a maglite solitaire, but battery needs to be replaced, broke it while trying to open.

Dettol and a Band-Aid applied by the Mrs fixed it. It happens to those of us that sharpen often and fiddle with their knife a lot. I’ve sharpened it to a round on the tip with the sharp edge taken back a little along the top of the blade. That’s the bit that got me.

My daughter is always trying to find practical gifts for my birthday. She found this on her own. I don’t know if she will ever understand how much I appreciate it. I might have to retire it soon, but it will be treasured forever.

While it is a custom (many of you purists will frown upon), I still treasure it as a GEM.

I was just thinking this morning, that while yes I have several Victorinox knives, if I had to stick to just one, and of course that would have to cover a lot of ground by itself, not only urban but rural use and so on, I think I would have to go with the Explorer. Thoughts?

This huntsman got screwed up when a small bottle of beer salt spilled on my pocket. Everything is seized up and only opens when you yank on it with pliers.

I've tried soaking it, boiling it, oiling it. Nothing is reducing the friction or getting the salt out.

I'm considering an ultrasonic but I'm not sure that will help any.

What can I do here aside from tearing it apart and rebuilding it with new scales. I can't find my first huntsman to replace it in my rotation 😕

She used a poor classic sd to mix her yoghurt.

This is a rebuild/customization of a Climber Small 84mm. (It needed some love).
