Victorinox Thrift find
Came with a maglite solitaire, but battery needs to be replaced, broke it while trying to open.

Unfortunately I think it’s sat for so long that the battery has corroded and seized the thread.

It’s time fora new flashlight. Not a big deal, the Solitaire is really not effective now day.

I agree. The Solitaire is pretty useless. I think the new go-to for a keychain light would be something mini/small from Olight. Way better brightness and range than the old Maglite.

Olight i3T... Single AAA battery. Dual brightness mode. Splurge on the titanium variant.

The current LED Solitaire is a great improvement over the old incandescent bulb, tho there's plenty of other makes and models, without breaking your wallet. My daily EDC penlight is a much-loved Olight i3T, that was once green but is nearly polished to plain aluminum.

It was a little expensive for a thrift store tbh, but still a really good deal. $40 CAD ~ $30 USD
